    Crushing defeat

    Yesterday i had second battle with Fyreslayers preparing for next weekend turney, we played 2000 points. My army

    Short story with list of my mistakes. He started with all units underground only big lizard on top, i deployed my skullcracker and castelan to far and they died in first turn of shooting of dig out hearguards and vulkites rest of the battle grinding with two of his units of beresrkers (wtf naked dwarfs with 4+save, 4+ ward, 2 attacks, rerolls and 20 points more expensive than ironsworn).
    To add to the list of the mistakes, in one turn i forgot about mystic shield on my ironsworn, rerolls 1 from bsb, i need to invest in some tokens.

    First battle

    Last wednesday i played first fantasy game since 5th edition, my oponent was equally inexperienced with a second AoS game. My army was composed 
    Bull Centaur Taur'ruk (160) - General - Command Trait : Cunning Deceiver - Artefact : Chaos Runeblade
    Units
    10 x Infernal Guard Fireglaives (100)
    10 x Infernal Guard Fireglaives (100)
    3 x Bull Centaur Renders (180) -Scalding Great Weapon
    3 x Bull Centaur Renders (180) -Scalding Great Weapon
    War Machines
    Iron Daemon War Engine (180)
    Deathshrieker Rocket Launcher (120)
    my enemy had
    Wight King on horse
    Necro on horse
    30 Skeletons
    10 Grave Guards
    10 Grave Guards
    I started near end of my border, he hide 2 of his Grave Guard Units and moved forvard with the rest

    On my turn i charged my  my Centaurs and moved Iron Deamon and some Fireglaves, and done some shooting to Skeletons and Necromancer. Centaurs killed Ghosts and a Wight King

    In next turn he dig out his Grave Guards moved Skeletons and killed my Tau'Ruk, and a Centaur, me in return killing some Skellies and Grave Guard

    Next fighting continues. I finally menaged to kill Necro by shooting, in combat phase i lost most of the Centaurs killing more Skeletons and charged in with one Fireglaves and Iron Daemon

    In our last turn i killed most of his remaining skeletons in return receiving minimal loses and we ended the game.

     
    Lots of errors on both sides with rules and forgetting own rules, i won mostly because my oponent was as inexperienced as me but overall its fun to play again.
    Next time crushing defeat against Fyreslayers.

    Hello im Michal and i dont played warhammer fantasy for 18 years. I started playing in 4th edition as i had some abberance to Undeads but then 5th hit and i saw White Dwarf Presents: Chaos Dwarfs and fell in love to those evil little buggers. I played them for entire 5th and beginning of 6th but then moved to work In England and sold them to fund first few weeks of my living there which i regret. Some time ago Old World died and AoS launched and i started to think about coming back, as Forg World Dwarfs are pricy it took me 2 years to fund them and 6 month finish. Now i hawe this plus 2 iron deamons, skullcracker and 3 bull centaurs. I know that i will loose, and often that is, but they say "True men is recognised by how he ends not how he starts". I had first game this wednesday and surprise i won, but is possibly partly that my oponent was equally inexperienced as me, but battlereport is for next entry
