For Splintered Fangs, their double is used more than onslaught. Often same with Untamed Beasts.

count the 13. your enemy will hate all those 6´s, but even more the digit 2 in the reach profile of the monks weapons. fast and hits like a small nail, a million small nails.
Hahaha! We were JUST discussing it last night that someone was bound to find a way to break things.
This looks almost as extreme as that 14 snake Splintered Fang warband.

Keep in mind that Warcry allows to have more than one warband and rotate them when you feel like you'd like to change things up a bit. I mean if you feel like you get tired of shooting things, avoiding getting hit and want to jump into the fray and smack faces with a big axe then having both of them is the best way to go.
Also, you are the only one who knows what you like. You don't need us to tell you what you like- 1

I just pick a number that includes half the fighters. So out of 11, 6 definitely includes half the fighters but 5 doesn't. But no more than half includes exactly half so your'e good
The 1/5 plague rats with sticks seem like a serious critfishing threat in numbers. That's before you put artefacts on them. But I wonder about plague leader. What are our thoughts about racial quad? -

have had a few games with:
stormvermin leader 170
stormfiend with grinders 265
rat ogre with warpfire gun 235
Melee rat ogre 225
pack master 65
giant rat. 35
they’re great at kill missions, and have to say the rat ogres are mvps so far. I’m thinking of swapping out the ‘fiend for more bodies though, as finding it harder with objectives.
Aye, six people can find themselves struggling in many scenarios. I don’t think I’ll go over a combination of two fiends, ogres or in between. Kinda want that Skaven swarm feel too

So what list do you think about making with the leaders being all 100+ points?

Not divided by grand alliances in that way, but by runemark, so strictly speaking only the warrior chamber (and weirdly, not the original stormcast) can ally in mercenaries so far. For all the new warbands, officially I suspect you will have to wait for the next monsters and mercenaries book, which I’m sure there is bound to be.
In the meantime, nothing to stop you house ruling it at a tournament. It’s fairly easy to assign based on grand alliance, or even on race.
At risk of being repetitive, I may just go ahead and divide mercs and new warbands into 4 grand alliances and take them. See any problems with houserules like this?

None of the new warbands in this current release have their runemarks on the allies matrix in the monsters and mercenaries book.GW really needs to get it together on Warcry,,its a great game but just doesn't seem to be getting a lot of support.
We will take it all in our hands and just divide new warbands into 4 GA and cross reference them with old mercs so that we can use them all, right?
It will be weird not to take MM SCE mercs into SCE2 warband lol

295 pts are many, but it's resistance 6 and 35 wounds make it very hard to kill...
You can ally it only with chaotic "original" warband", so slave to darkness, beasts, skaven, tzeentch etc can NOT take him as an ally
Why not?
-
So who got the cards by now? How are they?
-
They are super strong and actually pleasantly niched. The quad is great and the 250pt leader feels like auto-include. Wish we had mounted chaos warriors though but even without them you can build a really thematically visible warband
-
Monsters and Mercs are your official word divided by 4 grand alliances afaik
-
Got my preorders today and I must say... This is happy stuff. I’m very happy about the state of Warcry. Weapon options are a much appreciated addition

Found this. So let’s go!
Im thinking:
- cheap leader
- fiend melee
- shooty ogre
- stormvermin w/shield
- stormvermin w/shield
- clanrat w/ spear
- clanrat w/spear
- packmaster
There’s a growing wave of people claiming a 45pt leader is a typo so this list might not live long but the options and synergies are interesting. Packmaster will give a shooty ogre some mad bonus power. Fiends and rats will protect the boss and the fiend will hurt things. Thoughts?

So, 23 rather than 232, but still, nice work on finding actual gods! Wouldn’t like to anger the gods by unfulfilling prophecies, so “hah”. Preordered 😁
Man, this feels good. Preordered)

So it begins! I want 12 Frenzied Ragers (the mean-looking duardin)
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/01/21/warband-focus-spire-tyrantsgw-homepage-post-2/
Also, am I confused but the second revealed ability (Triple: Champion of the Warpits) is only usable by Leaders but the text describes it as being usable by at least 3 types of fighters? -

Actually the pack are made from already existing sprue. For example:
Stormxast: vanguard hunter box+ vanguard raptor box
Nightaunt: aos box+easy to build box banshees
Gloomspite: snuffler box+ boing squig box
The gloomspite should cost 40€ according to the man of my shop
I now see that you were talking about the new SCE box. Very good point. Why in the world would gryph hounds not be there?

Sure, but the last one was released a month ago. It's a basic easy-to-build unit. I am glad that I could play mine, but that's so unnecessary and frustrating.
edit: I bet they printed the insterted cards without considering the FAQ.This. I'd be overly happy if this happened mid-year or prior to a TOC but a month after TOC feels weird. Nontheless. There might be a demand for goblin cards so if the price is right I might even get em. After a billion other warbands that I really can't wait to build!
The gryph hound statement is weird. There is a gryph already in an SCE warband. Now one has a chance to play more units from their army. Why duplicate the same fighters in different warbands is beyond me.

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/01/19/pre-order-preview-warcry-necromunda-middle-earth/ so this is wonderful news. I want most literally all of it

Fair point, and I’m inclined to agree with you that it seems too much; it’s just that other units converted to warcry have had every separate weapon option as an individual card (thinking ironjawz, where Brutes got 5 cards, and DoK, for example. Did the deepkin cards skip options?) rather than following the UW model. And it’s a fair bet that arkanauts will be included, even if nothing else is!
I hope to be as wrong on this as they come
Dear Heavenly Dice Gods, blessed be thy sides, please let Baron Wastelands come back here at the end of this (January 2020) month and say "Hah! I told you they'd make 232 weapon options for KO and all other AoS warbands! Time to preorder!" -
Like the setting. A lot.

Be a bit odd if they don’t release at least a wave of cards early in the year, I don’t imagine they’d want to much time to go by from the release of the book. As already suggested, I’d expect that KO and Tzeentch will be in the first wave; although they may of course release all 15 at once, I wouldn’t be surprised if they release in 2 or 3 waves.
Not based on any knowledge, of course, just speculation. Am also interested to see what goes in - take KO for example, it’s a fair bet to think there will be 6 arkanauts cards (2 leader options, 4 weapon load outs), and then you’d expect to see skywardens (potentially another 5 cards for the different load outs, but that seems like a lot of flying options, so an alternative would be “regular” skywarden and “regular” endrinrigger, though what they would do without ships I’m not sure) - but no leader alternative yet, so would thunderers go in too? Potentially 6 more cards (leader, rifle, cannon, fumigator, mortar, deck sweeper?), which is starting to sound like too much choice!
Would also expect another book at some point on the horizon with more allies (and maybe more monsters) to cover off the new factions.
Yours is an absolute utopian speculation. I will be truly surprised and eternally happy if arkanauts alone will see six(!) card variations. I just don’t believe it will happen. If I was to bet I’d say each get a generic representation like the UW warband with some extras. So a thunderer, an arkanaut, a bubble boy with spear, couple leaders and we’re done. On the other hand as I write this I wonder how much extra is fair to assume. LoN had a ton of cards while aquamen - not so much.
2 arkanaut
2 bubbleboiz
1-2 thunderers
2 leaders
This is 8 cards which on one hand is more than some but less than others. I hope to be ridiculously wrong and excited when Warcry devs surprise me yet again with 25 fighter options

I like your interpretation of the rules even though it might distort imagining reality a bit. It sounds like you played it in a fair way.
Im guessing “fly” shouldn’t be given more thought than just being able to ignore vertical while moving, until we get an adapted rules set.
