I would really love to see new sculpts for the Mortarchs having seen what they have recently put out for Ushoran. I've never been a big fan of the Mannfred/Neferata kit.

It would be awesome to see Arkhan re-imagined as a Morghast style hero.

As for GW, they are so protective of their own quality and IP that selling .stl files is completely out of the question - and thus crazy.

Yeah, there was someone who was slowly taking out all the unit models from Total Warhammer and converting them to .STL Files, and hosting them online for people to download. Printers jumped on fast and started selling 3D prints of them online and GW came down hard on all of it.

Yea seems weird for things like Vampire Lords or the entire nighthaunt army to not get the -1 to hit. A boat flying around kinda makes sense but a vampire on foot that fan fly surely wouldn't just be floating up high all the time lol.

It's definitely an odd one, but I think one to wait and see as they did state they were rebuilding all the warscrolls. I can see a lot of units that have fly now getting "Can move or Charge as if they had the fly keyword." rather than full fly for these scenarios around terrain.

Next week could a Stormcast character. What about Skaven the week after? And what about Monday the 13.? No reveal, perhaps?

I'd love to see perhaps a reveal or teaser of "What else in 4th Edition." See some hints about who else or what else is being updated during 4th's early life.

Good evening everyone, I know most of you are still reeling from today's bad news. Unfortunately, there are more new leaks.

I know a lot of you are playing Total War Warhammer 3. I can officially confirm that if the dlc sales don't double during this year, the current plan is to end the saga in late 2026 / early 2027 with a final dlc called The End Times which will bring the Supereme Lord Nagash and Gray Seer Thanquol with Verminlords in the final cataclysmic dlc for Total War Warhammer 3

At the end of 2027, Warhammer 40K will either be announced or released.

This doesn't seem totally unfeasable, TWW2 had a five year life-span between 1 - 3 so ending in 2027 seems right, there is only a finite amount of stuff they can add to it and we knew that TWW3 would be the last one in the series, even if DLC sales increased or not.

    Kragnos Beastmen Army incoming?

Honestly Beasts fit Destruction as a faction better than Chaos. I'd be on board with them moving grand alliance narratively, breaking free from the yoke of Chaos to run wild across the realms tearing down everything and returning it back to the wilderness

Maybe some sort of Bug-like beastmen, they could be really quiet too...

The opposite of soup is a sandwich.

That is what I thought too, but saying that Kruleboyz and Ironjawz might be sandwhich still sounds the same as being souped.

    Until they are !

On long term, be sure they will be replaced in turn. Malerion's shadow army will be the new pointy eared taste of dark !

What a glorious day that will be... Soontm ,I'm sure.

  8. My heartfelt sorrows to all those affected by the culling of the ranges, always sucks to see hard work and money get snubbed by business decisions like this, it is never pleasant and understandable to be angry at.

With Bonesplittaz leaving the Orruk Warclanz range, do people think we might see an un-soup (Not sure what the opposite of a soup is?) of Ironjawz and Kruleboyz?

IIRC think the heroes will have the 3" rule so they will be sticking pretty close to their own units (which these new rules show will be usually certain units). I play Cities which already have this and it pretty much works like they joined the units.

This could be pretty good since we won't need like 6 of one hero, but the game still loses the aura armies that forces everything into a blob.

Yeah, that is very true! I really enjoyed Season 2 GHB rules with the increased emphasis on the smaller heroes. So I like the push to have the hero with the units they represent together. It was definitely more a wish list thing for me, i know others that would prefer not to have it too!

  10. While I'm sad heroes won't be joining units, the new battle formations and the role restrictions being lifted will make for some fun and more interesting lists now in my eyes, I always find the "Oops all x" lists funny.

Wouldn't mind looser rules for adding Kharadron to a Fyerslayer force and vice/versa; wouldn't complain if Duardin left Cities to get a third faction that the other two factions (still existing in their own books) could soup into

If Aelves can have multiple fully fleshed out concepts, not sure why Duardin and Orruks both need to be mashed into one book

I feel like this is exactly what coalition should be used for. Keep the armies separate but have the potential of teaming up somewhat as a sub-faction like how Cities of Sigmar do it, or if you were to have the returned Grombrindal in either army.

Just chiming in to say that I am not a fan of the idea of souping the Daughters with all the CoS Delves simply for the reason that they are Delves.

I feel like if something like this was intended, the opportunity to implement this would have been the "liberation" of Anvilgard imo. Of course this doesn't mean it wouldn't happen now if GW wanted to do it.

That being said I also don't like the idea of a combined tome of Morathi and Malerion elves. It will probably happen to reduce the number of elven factions, but I still don't like it 🤣

Yeah, I can understand this. I don't think all of the Delf stuff would fit, but definitely the Executioners (Might just be I'm a sucker for them.) I think there is space for them with Har Kuron and now Krethusa's rebellion/recruitment. In lieu of waiting for a range expansion

Or that all weapons choices have been rolled into one across warscrolls?

I wonder how it'll handle those warscrolls that have weapon & shield combo or dual weapons, like Witch Aelves or Kruleboyz Boss. (Not sure on any other examples off the top of my head.)

As a Cities player who got into the faction for the mix race stuff I just wish they end my suffering when 4th comes out and do something like this lol.

Yeah, I feel for the mixed races Cities of Sigmar players, with the potential of dwarves leaving for ToW it would be good to get clarity on what GeeDubs intend to do. With this larger edition change it would be an easy time to move across some warscrolls to more thematic armies potentially.

Dark Elves most likely getting their own faction in Age of Sigmar along with Chaos Dwarfs.

I'd love it if the current Dark Elves were rolled into Daughters of Khaine as a standby for when Malerion's Umbraneth release. Har Ganeth(Kuron) Executioners fit so well with the theme.
