The Rumour Thread
Dragon-knight77 replied to The Jabber Tzeentch's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
that good rumor to hope for after 10th edition i don't quite know what happen but it felt like any momentum 40k had sort of peeter off like they didn't know what what to do after the Oghram campaign and sort shuffle to redoing Pariah nexus. Kroot had a great refresh no doubt about it but rest so far got a "eh there good" out the player base So it be interesting how AoS going to learn from said mistake -

Darkoath nice With some nice Catherine O'Connor's artwork Wilderfiend (correct me if wrong) Im going to guess we're going to see the ruination paladins next (since it like the big poster unit of this edition) as for Slave to Darkness/Chaos Marines i have no idea what it is. It can't even be like a new model because the two have no intersection (not even demons i think) im throw a Hail Mary and say it going to be a Remake of the Libre Chaotica -

Nice very nice love the design and the axe look metal AF. The question now is if he a named character or just a different "champion" build of the already seen the ruination chamber paladins we seen? I think he is as there a bit more to him like the hourglass & a desgin in his chest plate also just a side despite rat swarm going the way of Beastmen they still manage to get into the cardboard cutout. Look at them at the bottom it's adorable Helmeted with a actual good design. a spike crown design that make him look more Chaos warrior-y then the usual halo pike that the Vindicators and the mention Paladins are show to have -

Well there the The Old elven gods resurrection unless that what you meant with Krethusa The Ossiarch fortification towards the Vermindoom The Nurgle & Alarielle rain war the Nurgle plotline was just Abraxia sending the harbinger of decay to intercept the crusade but him just going off script to fight Bonemarrow Herald Jerrod (which is kid of hilarious looking back) Ushoran plot is tie to the whole Verdigris being establish most likely to intercept Abraxia and be the sacrificial lamb -

Well since the Bonesplitterz are going the way of background fluff Kruleboyz Breaka Boss have room to play around with the additional monsters of the realms but always feel like the that not to say Ironjawz should be left out since as i feel like IJ should get creature that fit with their "outback/caynon" nature if you know what i mean compare to the Krulboyz "swamp" theme. " There's a rumour that Chaos Dwarves were originally slated for the Old World, but ended up looking too similar to the new designs proposed for AoS" We're going to here ever & ever. The Snarlfang rider was slated for old world, the Saurus guard was slated for TOW, the chaos warrior was slated for TOW blah blah blah everything that not Stormcast is slated to Old World blah moving from that peeve if true that AOS is going to keep the Chaos dwarfs Assyrian aesthetic it definitely be interesting to see how they bring the 5th edition big hats & big beards with hand and legs (which was what the dwarfs essentially were back then) to the tabletop while "AOS-ifed" which what every WHF faction that transition sorta did (the different bloodlines or the new dinos stuff like that) -

Old school Wyvern return? When Kruleboyz cam out there was a White dwarf passage about all kind of monster in the swamp of Ghur; one being a bog wyvern I know it being used by the TOW orc boss but they're still some diffraction they could make (also come on are we not allow to use griffons and horse because Empire has them?) -

That we know of no Made a list of we think might come and apart from @Whitefang saying nah to the paladins specifically there not much else Maybe there like a lighting ghiest/tranfigure as the Dreadnought of SEC but wouldn't bet till a reliable leaker hint it or react to it Oh snd there was a whitefang like to someone who mention a human entourage like the chaos space marine -

Don't know if this was mention on monday but i like that sone of the clan rats a visually from other clans like the black hood from Eshin and one to right could be from pestilence. Wonder if that how they're going to do the grey seer as an optional build for a plague priest I think there will be but due to us knowing that it come out july they'll give us one or two more models before the actual release -

Oh by the way the name of the human cultists of the Great Horned Rat back in Old world was call the Cult of the Yellow Fang (i think they're were mention in AOS don't remember if it was in soulbound) Could be a warcry warband in the same vein as the Horns of Hashut -

Possibly they could also do a vandus leading up to his confrontation with Khul or vice versa, Ionus in his black towers teasing the whole Ruination chamber opening or City of Verdigris seeing the incoming shadow of Abraxia coming over Just hope it not the destruction of Phoenicium that has to be in the book itself not a short story that does it off screan. That would be uber lame especially with all the build up -

Coven of blood had Half-elves, Yndrata the Celestial spear had Half-ogres, Even the Prince Mesa novel remove the mention of elve unable to interbreed from the shorts would assume the dwarven/elf hybrind would probably look like a Vox Machina Gnome -

So dilute cities identity with other factions who already have their tomes and civilization. That pretty lame imo like there a diffrence between having a khazalid or scourge in a city who a completely diffrent style and interaction with city human from the other dwarf and elves who have their own faction then just putting a lumineth and give a diffrent hat Especially since we already have cities dedicated to interacting with kharadon (tempest eye) and sylvaneth (living city) -

Lord commanders are more Chapter masters then primarchs The inner circle which yndrast, prime and the dragon princes have full authority over all stormhost has is more in line with the primarch position -

Gardus isn't one of them yet Stormcast already has some mutations when it comes to the reforging reaching the transfigure and lighting ghiest stage but Transfigured is a whole another level with describe as being nothing but a statue of sigmarite, lighting & holy light Ossiach Vanderghule is the only name Transfigured that we know of and he has amethyst wisp circling around him like a renaissance painting of cupids -

Could be the Stormcast "Dreadnought" in that we get this holy demigod with heavenly blessing/mutation still fighting on despite the crossing the threshold. The lore has each stormhost having their own unique manifestation like the Vindicators being on fire (blue fire) while the Hallowed Knights having halos of nimbus so they could be the customization to fit your army theme like the Demon Prince doubt it make it to the box -

I said named characters Nurgle does have some mortal characters like Glottkin i just remember and gotrot spew. But unless your talking about the underworld team there very little mortal character in the mono gods and the curseling is a demon -

I just notice something. With Scylla and Valkyia gone Khorne has almost no name human (i know demon prince still counts). You have Khul who might just become a demon prince and Skarr Bloodwrath geez they really want you to play demons if you want to go mono-god (unless your slaanesh). Hope for the bloody new model Im still wondering why they trying to depict the 1 edition armor as this skinny fit form armor when it completely the opposite direction their going with the models. Honestly that image doesn't do it justice as 1e armor look better then the ruination or Thunderstrike armor they're trying to sell just because it actually look like she fit in it then the bulky "im poking my head out in my dad armor" -
