  1. Honestly, with how loose they've set up the temples you can easily go with some sort of wuxia manhwa-like story for the Stone guard and mage, adapt the narrative to fit with the constraints of the AoS drama.

some weird moon prophecy or something like that.

Influence of the 'Da Bad Moon. :P

  2. With the approaching passing of the Earth's cycle around the sun, what are your plans and wishes for the LRL in the new one?

    • New chapter of the Broken Realms with Teclis at the helm, looking for the soul of the strongest soul-king. I get goose bumps at the thought of having it reborn for LRL.
    • Eltharion gets his body. :)
    • Swordmasters and a hero models.
    • Hopefully begin working on LRL.
    • The upcoming LRL novel turns out to be great.
    • Virus goes away, and I can have some testing and fun with the Purifiers.

It's probably safe to assume that everything will be delayed by another year due to COVID.

The virus isn't helping, however two years are rather short even in a normal scenario. If it's the scenario where multiple tools need to be developed, approved and run without taking technological shortcuts or overtime for factory workers, a single year to the timeframe is more than welcomed.

  4. Guard is useful. I employ it with Skritch and Kurnothi, however it's always preferable to have more meat points and not die to a single hit. It'd be wonderful for Myhari or Bahannar to have four wound points on their profile, as it was pointed by some review, the upgrade that reduces the damage by one, shines the brightest when you have profiles with a large hit points. Fishing for extra wounds and damage reduction to get at least a somewhat survivable fighter doesn't sit well with me, given how many +1 damage cards are in play, but I'm willing to give it a run to see what happens.

  5. Build my deck over the weekend, pity the virus is still rampaging, and hence I'm unable to get games. I am a bit worried about the Purifiers, as they're rather squishy. Hopefully the higher wound warbands aren't going to casually steamroll me, on the upside, the Purifiers game seems rather defensive, should suit me more than the DoK warband. Kurnothi still remain my favorite elven warband in the game, will see if the Purifiers can change that.

  6. Traits and artefacts that target friendly units should be more diverse and compatible.  More 'cool abilities' than we have now, which is essentially re-roll X,Y orZ.

    - target units piles in 6'' rather than 3''

    -target unit fights first

-target unit withdraws and can still charge

-nominate a unit of 10+ models, while the unit consists of 10+ models any friendly wizard whole within 6'' gets +1 to cast and unbind.

-a hero unit with this artefact chooses a friendly unit within 6'' in the hero phase. Return slain models worth of D3 wounds, a hero unit with this artefact loses one wound, it cannot be negated. This artefact cannot be used, if hero unit has only one wound remaining on his profile.

When Swifthawk Agents were still around I sometimes thought about how cool "AoS-ified" Warhawk Riders with a new High Aelf Aesthetic could be.

Same, variety of birds and some EC allies would have been awesome.

Problem is that LRL have far too little cool stuff to play around and even the allies look they're suffering from anaemia. Not really prompting me to grab my tools and start assembling things. I usually prefer mages but not really feeling Teclis, hopefully Tyrion is going to look more to my liking.

  8. I honestly can't wait to see, if I can recreate a high warden on a griffon or put a mage on a steed (fire!). I've got the old high elf models for it, so I'm currently thinking what else I could do. The designer hinted about Pegasus, so that'd be nice, but I'd have to find the correct miniature for it. Maybe sort of a ranger like character with an eagle or a gryph hound companion.

    Any theories?

    • At the moment Slaanesh is still contained but slaves of Slaanesh are close to finding it and it is only a matter of time before the chains are also broken. My theory is that Teclis is preparing for that possibility and why he's travelling, making pacts with the spirits of the Hysh and trying to stabilize the realm before the doom of the elves is release upon the realms again.
    • Tyrion is likely interested in defending the locations that imprison Slaanesh. There are still souls that need to be reclaimed. There is also reclaiming the realm from chaos, as Hysh was hard hit by them. It's worth remembering that he doesn't believe Slaanesh is capable of escaping.
    • From the previews and leaks the nations seem independent, unless Teclis or Tyrion give command they're likely interested in their own governance, growth and stability.

Hi guys, just ordered the new box. What blue colors should I get to paint it?

Depends on the shade (and the colour range) of it.

I like Thousand Suns blue/Ahriman Blue/Temple guard blue.

Have a look at GW's paint selections, you have a handy spectre of examples. I think there's also an app for it.
