adding Thamurkan (reworked rules or Profiles TOW?) would generate sales for WH+

We don't actually know if that's true, and it could be users of the vault (which is pretty extensive) are very limited. If they stopped uploading, it presumably was because it wasn't reaching it's objectives.

That they need to buy all over again. Which is not that relevant if you loved your Sarcosanct collection. I have a friend who quit AoS over this.

For how long, though? There's a lot of histrionics at the moment - including emotional misreadings of what they said yesterday. The prohibition on those old storm cast will be summer 2025 - and it should only apply to tournaments and events. The units will all have rules, all have playability.

Updated with 75mm oval to rectangular (single and a unit of 6 (3x2).
Additionally 50mm round to square in a unit of 3.

You can do what you want with these files expect selling them. 😃

This should be all useful conversions. If you need more let me know!

(I might create a thread for this a mod could pin if they wanted) :)

Jack, is it possible to create a thread with all your stls in one place? And/or create a cults page?

Because talking with Nathan from The Great Book of grudges, GW explictly told influencers to talk and explain stuff on videos, but to not show all the pages of the entire book with such detail to avoid having it all in photo'ed pdfs on the internet, which is exactly what has happened.

But this is GMG's modus operandi. It's *every* video he does. GW know this and continue to send him everything. He's never been punished before, and this has happened too - people making pdfs from his videos in that one week (now two week) preorder window.

The rumours were a new plastic wyvern with either shaman or warboss and potentially a new plastic snotling pump wagon.

dwarfs I think will be getting a lord on 2 shield bearers

But we've seen the metal wyvern...

So reading those sections with squinto vision...

First one, people might have old armies on different bases, this is ok except in matched play.

Second one, Artillery crew are just wound markers essentially so they should in theory all fit on the designated bases (Which is insane imho) but disregard them for play purposes. Some people make bigger diorama bases for artillery and this is fine too.

Which is good, cos thats what im doing :D

Exactly, this was why I shared them - but I also find it interesting they have an "out"; if artillery can be modelled as you like, then ... So can other things :D

Norsca turning from the "first line of defence" and thus dead 'ard, into chaos scum riles me too. The army was top cool with the various norse infantry types (that only lives on in the fan based Warmaster). Sadly missed.

Doesnt WAP preserve that older Norsca too?

I'll say this while I can: I never really liked the theory that TOW is part of the 40k universe and just a world inside a huge, impenetrable warp storm and Sigmar could be a lost primarch (unlikely with the newer 40k fluff). I think it's better that the settings are entirely separate.

I like to think of it like final fantasy - where they are totally different worlds or universes wherein recurrent tropes connect each piece of media as the same franchise/intellectual property.

I also really wish they had done this with AoS - just made it (for example) the FF10 to WFB's FF9. Not a sequel, not an end, just a new world with same elements, names, etc.

I can't speak to Tome Kings as I know almost nothing about them.

Personally I like that GW are making Brettonia a good faction and having a clearer divide.

No one has to be perfect, but I don't like that most of the GW lore seems to be about making factions bad, badder and, worse.

Even Stormcast in AoS went from shining golden heroes to soulless killers by 2.0.

Having everyone be "morally grey" doesn't immediately make a setting better or more mature.

The thing is, all the things that made 6th edition bretonnia "bad" or "grey" are still there - the latest loremasters includes lots of the very icky elements of their society, which makes them feel rather skavenblight dinge!

It does include very wfrp mentions of freemen in the society - the merchants, scholars, etc - and other tidbits from the four editions. But front and centre is serfdom, and its ills.

Btw, in between the line of the rumours and the off-topic, but I am working on an improved version of the Warboss Kurdan Rumour Engines site as I think the visual and the REs navigation could be improved and more information added.

Link to the awesome blog in case you didn't know it!

This is how it looks so far:

    image.png.838c8b4f8b60000f57f580b8cc75a89f.png

It is built following a timeline approach and includes, what I think it is, handy info like the mini name and a link to the mini on the store, the link to the RE post itself, after how many time it was resolved, and some tags.

The tags are there as I would include filters by those tags, resolved date, published date and resolved/ unresolved.

Is there anything else you would add to quickly/ easily navigate between those sweet RE?

    Fantastic!

On added info, is there any way - where it becomes known - to add info about sculptors. It seems a really interesting piece of info that nobody seems to track or try to find out about.

Witnessing that reaction kind of put me off of interacting with the existing Old World communities. Really hoping they become more welcoming when the game actually launches and new players start coming in.

Fortunately it's just a few hidebound peeps so far in the main Facebook group; im not sure whether to even reply to one man's long essay in response to my post 🤔

I missed the preview but have caught up on warcom, am I missing something or did they not say there would be something for “The World of Legend” - is that not Old World?

calender - My Heart says something like a magically enhanced Grail Knight, but that would be cool and in line with what I want, so It’s probably something for 40 K.

    Go on fnac
