  2. I tried a list and I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's viable, strong, or just bad. The goal is to have 2 spells at +4 and 2 spells at +1 thanks to the stardrake boost and to make the most of the "Master of Celestial Menagerie" to make the 3 heroes very hard to kill.

  3. Hello everyone,

I'll soon play a tournament with my friend and I would like to know what you think about my army composition. Here is the faction in the tournament : Ossiarch Bonereaper, Serpahon, Lumineth, Kruleboys, Slaves to Darkness and Daughters of Khaine.

My tactic is to hold the points as firmly and efficiently as possible by being very tanky, with Yndrasta, the redeemer units reverting to 5+, the standard lichbone, and the vexxilor knight heal. The judicator pack is my 3rd battleline and allows to support and cover a good part of the map.

My strategy is to hurt him from a distance and with magic, while I would hold a solid line thanks to the paladins, the sequitors and Yndrasta.  I know he will most likely play with Archaon and the Varanguard.

What do you think of my build?  Do I have to make any changes? Do you have any tactic advice for the battle?

    Thanks you

Hey guys, i just saw on the warscroll builder that evocators (dracolines and normal ones) can pick a spell from the universal lore.

Have we discussed that here already? Cause it's huge!

"Flame weapon" on the dracolines or even "levitate" to get a fly move and charge (passing above terrain features and enemy units) is a freaking great bonus for them!

If this is something available to us i'll definitely consider a unit of dracoline and a heraldor in a vanguard battalion to get good use of the free "swift" ability.

I'm pretty sure that they say in the errata that Evocator can only take spells from Lore of Invigoration

  8. I also played my first game in V3 with the SCE (1000pts each, 2v2). Here is my quick feeback :

    - I really liked playing with Yndrasta, she is scary in range, she is scary in melee, she is not easy to kill but above all her ability to bring back the dead stormcast makes the army incredibly solid

    - the "blaze of glory" ability, without being very strong, allowed me to do some very appreciable additional mortal wounds notably against a hero that my Vindicators had surrounded (just before Yndrasta made them come back!)

    - I I had a lot of luck with my Anihilators (12 on the charge roll, fatal wounds on arrival almost all successful) which allowed me to destroy in the opposing ranks. I think they distributed 15 MW in total just on their arrival tower. It was particularly cool to see !

I can't wait to see what the new battletome will do, but the Dominion units are very interesting and give the Stormcast a lot of new possibilities.
