Necron and Sm got their units some months after.

Considering that book 2 is about destruction...could it bbe the third book about death?

I'd say cities will surely have a "dedicated" part for the sigmarite cult and inquisition.
Warrior priests are oop currently and they surely will bring back them.- 5

I took that more as the organizational aspect of the design, not anything kit/aesthetic wise? Like how the command structure shakes out and probably how leaders can deploy commands
Considering we're getting an analogue to Ogryn auxiliaries i'd say in the structure of the army and probably the lore to some extent(putting emphasis on the "common man against all the horrors of the realms" and many regiments/organizations of the cities).

Frankly, when was the last time a /tg/ AoS """leak""" turned out to be true?
Slaves to darkness Photos last summer iirc.

On a more optimistic note, none of the photos today showed ye olde Slayers in them so I'll continue huffing Hopeium that this means we'll finally see plastic Dwarf Slayers.
The Dragon Slayer was an 8th release (and plastic) so presumably some form of CAD file would exist for them.
I hope at least they'll not repeat the sculpting mistakes of the Fyreslayer range though.

The new miniatures are nice,i hope we'll get something like a sort of command squad of 40k imperial guard with various specialists(bannerman, commander, priest, battlemage and so on).
I think gw will use the 40k guard as a "blueprint" for the new cities or at least the marshal gives me that idea(they mention "orders"?).- 4

in a weird way I think this is a good thing.
AoS has a lot of room to grow and getting models in resin doesn't really help the game grow. All it does is put cool models behind a larger paywall. I'd rather see AoS continue to get nice plastic kits than dodgy FW resin ones. While some of those big monsters will be missed and there were some cool designs, my hope is that we'll see some of them in plastic in the future, much more accessible and without needing a whole separate book to use their rules.
Yes,mainline plastic kits are preferable than FW ones imho.
Troll hag,Rogue idol and so on are fine addictions that should be re-done with next destruction waves....maybe adding a dual option for the hag with another troggoth hero.

Please be AoS please be AoS please be AoS
I'd say Fec.

Considering Fec will be the battletome in winter most probably and next edition will be in summer...it could be we will get a new army\battletome during the first 6 months of 2024?
Even with another narrative campaign to close the edition seems there's enough time to something like that?- 1

I love these knights, the kit seems full with many bits.
I like the "berserk" feeling also of some helmets.- 2

That "no new chorfs" in TOW makes me hope at least in aos we will see them...

It could be anything, from Epic 40k to a new Battlefleet Gothic… like apparently everything is coming out this year.
But epic or BFG are not that big to shake things tbh.
It seems linked to tow but seems too strange as already TOW is "shaking the things up" as whfb got "ressurected".
Seems something bigger than just a specialist coming back(but tbh even an old army coming back is not that "shaking"). -

This is from a stream today. Valrak still claims that it is Bretonna vs. Tomb Kings and has been saying this for a while now. And so far his track record has been pretty good (too bad he cares nothing for SIgmar lol).
Personally I would find it really weird that they been throwing those two factions at us and then would randomly reveal two other factions as the starter lol.
The something big coming this later year....is about TOW?
Or just generally speaking considering gw as whole?
Unless that "shake the foundations".....

Legion of Azghor being discontinued, release of Hobgrots alongside the Kruleboyz, release of the Horns of Hashut, Chaos Dwarf DLC in TWW3, Warhammer World daemonsmith going OOP... I don't wanna do my crazy rumour theorist, but this is a little "sus" as zoomers would say.
Yes...seems to me that we have right now the perfect timing to see them coming back.

Interesting. It could just mean they're bringing Legion of Azgroh models back into production, since iirc that particular Daemonsmith was only around post-End Times? The only thing that makes me sceptical is Kislev and Cathay having 'modern' Total War designs they worked closely with GW on, whereas the Chorfs in their DLC are very much based on the old models (and LoAzgroh).
The talking seems imply the opposite unless i'm reading wrong though...they're saying that the old fw models will never get back but Chorfs will come back in TOW.
So...new sculpts ?Maybe a plastic release in Aos that could be used in the old world as well?

I wouldn't say that, especially since they also confirmed tomb kings won't be usable in AoS except as proxies.
They're heavily teased in aos as well...more than TOW tbh.
They just got a warcry warband of human cultist that acts as the vanguard of duardin hashut forces proper.- 3

I'll post this also here, from reddit:
So....they're nearer than we thought?

From reddit meanwhile:
So....chaos dwarves are actually near?Seems dubious but confirming them for tow seems a big hint of coming back also in aos.

As long as I can get a hold of at least three Necrosphinx kits, I do not really mind the wait for new kits. Have you guys and gals seen how much TK stuff goes for? I could by actual relics from Egypt at lower costs.
Tk kits of 8th edition makes senses though at least.
Bretonnian knights from 6th do not imho.
Still at least scalpers will get what they deserve.

I don't like the fact they're putting back into production kit that are already old and not updating them.
I'd be honest,a starter box with some of those is just imho a bad move.
Hoping resin kits will be at least remade(questing and grail knights at least).

Tbh to me seems one of those feeding tyrs of the trailer hunched and with the mouth full of tentacles (or so it seems).
If aos i'd say Idoneth squiddy thing.

I'd be honest, the trailer gives me dawn of war vibes and i really hope is on par with those games (or at least dark crusade).
Probably other factions are meanwhile developed to be dlcs or even full expansion.
Hoping the death faction for the game initially are the OBR,while Nighthaunt are not bad, OBR are the best for some "strategical" game as they are the most focused on that aspectt s they rebuild the environment with cities by the principles of Necrotopia and so on.
