I remember the BoC vs GSG battlebox rumour including a new jabberslythe, I'm ashamed to admit that heart did a little leap of excitement when both their new battletomes were announced at the same time last week, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up... saying that, we also have the rumour engines of those little beast dudes matted up in some big hairy thing that might have been a shaggoth no?

So Malerion's Aelves are coming soon?:

Yes I know someone will rain my parade and mention how that style of glove belongs to some Dark Eldar or ties to a rumour of this or that army... but let me have this 😤I would hazard a guess at an underworlds Morathi thing for harrowdeep due to the pirate cutlass

Makes sense since the points are approx. 1150 Sylv and 700 Skaven.
One of the worst boxes so far. Good (great even) for Sylvaneth but for Skaven is a gloried "Getting Started"-kit.
As someone mentioned, anyone demanding 50/50 parting with the Skaven side should feel ashamed of themselves.
Oh for sure, I friend of mines has Skaven but when the contents were revealed I resigned myself to trying to sell the skaven half on ebay

echoes of doom is £115 apparently
from Dakka [dollars and Euro prices are guesses]
Echoes of Doom £115 €150 $190
Warcry Darkoath Savagers £35 €45 $60
Warcry Tarantulos Brood £35 €45 $60
Ravaged Lands Pit Dredgers Camp £67.50 €87.50 $112
Ravaged Lands Varanite Syphon Camp £67.50 €87.50 $112
That is dirt cheap, I was not expecting that at all. I was gonna get it anyway, but nice to know I can get it guilt free!

Has there been any solid connection between armies that got a new model in Broken Realms and armies that have since been updated? Or is it too soon to tell?
Sylvaneth got the warsinger, now have an update. Cities got the witchhunter pair, now we have confirmed Cities are getting a huge update. Seraphon got Kroak, now we have some pretty apparent Seraphon rumour engines...?
COINCIDENCE???

What's the next aos faction?
Back page says world eaters for 40k are next, so no tome celestial it seems

There are some open/matched/ptg rules too as per, and some battalions, but what I posted was the only general rule update.

Sorry if I'm wrong, but I think my white dwarf came early thanks to me renewing my annual sub.
Anyway here's a peak at the update (sorry for my potato camera)

A postive takeaway for non Sylvaneth players from yesterday's reveals:
I feel Sylvaneth players have been calling out for pretty much exactly what was revealed, that being beetle cavalry and an archer unit (wings being a bonus surprise).
This makes me hopeful for other units that people have been calling out for regularly such as:
- Crabalry for IDK
- Mini magmadroths for FS
Etc
Hopefully just a matter of time

Great reveals, loved all the Sylvaneth, RIP my summer wallet.
As a Beasts of Chaos collector too, the Skaven lack of new models has me concerned for when it's our turn for a new tome and update, one new hero model incoming, hopefully a Doombull, though something new might be fun.
Also the Ogroids have me lowkey sad, they are pretty much what I imagined a new bullgor sculpt might look like, bar the head, almost feels like Beasts are getting replaced. Oh well, conversion job might have to do.
Hopeful for destruction in Autumn, almost certainly Gloomspite and Ogors. Ogors deserve the bigger range update but hoping I get a troll caster hero for my little troll mob I've got going.

That mallet looks snotling to me, new snotling pump wagon with drive-by croquet skull smashin' inbound?

Well albino rats are a big thing as Skaven elite go. Maybe they're some sort of elite assassin crew of Eshin albinos?
Also a longtime lurker who just made an account! Hi everyone!
Elite Eshin crew would make a perfect underworlds squad! Welcome to TGA! And as a beasts of chaos collector, excellent username!

Yeah -they look like familiars or something nasty, do they look "ghoul" enough though? Something beastie maybe ..
Personally I'm hoping these are actual kids, the baby goat kind, and they sit alongside some kind of brayfather BoC named character. It's just the realist in me that thinks they are more FEC looking, though you're right, they arent quite as ghoulish as the current FEC models... so maybe I have hope yet!

I could see them being Flesh Eater Courts related.
Very much agreed, I can imagine these evil little kids sitting around a big centrepiece ghoulking model on his throne surrounded by his heirs

Just read the whole thing. So Incarnates eat Endless Spells... this sounds like the end of Endless Spells, to me, as a gameplay mechanic.
Could be, but to me I read that as them doubling down on endless spells, as it seems like the incarnates will interact with them in some way on the game table. Could be a mixture of both though and by 4th edition endless spells might be phased out as they've all been eaten...

I can't imagine even gw would shoot out only an eshin hero with gutter runners (metal in 3s for a 5 man unit LOLE) and nightrunners being in their current state. They did make that warcry box though
100% agree with you, Skaven deserve way more and I hope I'm wrong as they really should get a full range refresh. I feel like Skaven are one of those armys that people avoid purely because the range is so old, and if they got a good haul of new kits a lot of people would be ready to dive in

Throw in a weapon team kit that can be built into a Warp Grinder, Warpfire Thrower or Ratling Gun Team, as well. They all have the same structure of one rat holding a big generator or fuel tank and another operating the weapon. I was honestly surprised that they are not a multi-build kit, but three separate metal models.
A multi option weapon kit would be great, and I don't know if it's me being pessimistic, but it seems like such a perfect idea that GW won't think to do it...

With the Sylvaneth vs Skaven reveal still awaiting, anyone wanna hedge their bets as to what it might bring?
Personally I'm thinking it'll be 1 new hero for both as per.
Sylvaneth being a hero that either buffs tree-revanants or a potential new unit (that bug leg doesn't match the necro dune fleas so I'm holding on to the beetle cavalry/big spite dream)
Skaven being an Eshin hero with buffs to Eshin existing kits or again a new kit (maybe an Eshin triad type unit like those introduced in the total war series)
