Nice idea with the ghouls and gorrilas, i still need both. I will have to make some list like u both have done to see what i am still missing.

I finally decided on my human warband. I will try and get these models soon.

I am also thinking about making my other warband a boneplitterz one, i think i can build more options with orruks than with the gitz. I get access to dual, 2 handed, 1 hand + shield, daggers, bows and could kitbash some beastsnaggas as the more elite options. It would be a lot of work and also invalidate them as AoS models, so i am not sure if i want to start on this project.

(Not my models, but its the same idea)

I am still trying to find a kit that can build me the most options out of any GW kit out there.

I be more interested to see how the power of the double turn affect scoring and BT. Since taking the double turn mean your not worried about completing your battle tactic for that turn but it seems more beneficial to keep the turn order as is.

I dont think it was their initial goal but it feels like the double turn got even more impactfull than it already was. Higher risk and higher reward. If u take the double turn and get the advantage u needed than it feels like it always did and u are probably winning the game. The downside is that if u fail to take advantage of the double than u get punished, maybe so much u will lose the game. So upside is the same, downside got a lot bigger. Resulting in a even more game defining choice and i think that wasnt what they wanted to achieve here.

    (Hope im explaining this correctly)

I feel like they have done a decent job with lore to keep Spiderfang within the GSG family. Spiderfang just dwell in the dark places on the surface instead of underground, and they both share a proclivity for poison.

From a gameplay perspective, I also appreciate the different movement options that Spiderfang can offer. Hope we get updates to them instead of squatting, as I still like them even if they are my least favorite GSG models and theme currently.

I agree with the lore part. I think they fit within GSG nicely but i could also see them elsewhere. They will always be my favourite clan of greenskinz and i hope they dont get squatted, but things arent looking very bright. Also the lack of Whitefang reactions on this topic worries me a bit.

I'll be painfully honest with my thoughts here. I really don't understand why so many of you here believe the Gitmob is coming back; they were squated for the same reason the Greenskins were; they were old models without any new ideas or concepts to expand them beyond just that. And you seem to base your belief about their return entirely on the existence of the Snarlfangs. I seriously don't get it.

My thoughts are the other way around. They could have stopped with Rippas warband. But why reimagine a whole unit with the Gitmob design if they are just planning this unit? They could have just put a moonclan or hobgrot on top instead.

We already had those with the  from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. A unit they desperately need to bring back.

I really prefer the webspinner design a lot more with the multiple eyes. The extra legs just always looked so weird to me.image.png.86f544aa9f3410211abfd9df9d177782.png

Some ogors with orc / Ork heads, playing with poses a bit and adding some greenstuff fur and horns to the helmets.

Lots of painting work to go on these! They are v. rough at the moment, but I like adding variety.

The characters also need some work, pics another time.

Might have to steal this idea of u dont mind XD. Ogor bodies fit the Orruks very well imho. Would like for GW to release more bodytypes in general across all factions.

So what are we expecting for gloomspite gitz new expansion? besides armored troggoths and gitmob hero or chariot

They did tease a new species called a Supharbreath Troggoth in a white dwarf one time.

while I don’t know what to expect for Gitz in 4th, they do have a lot of room to expand upon despite being a pretty big range already. Update Spiderfang, more Moonclan grot knight like ‘s court, plastic version of their old forgeworld kits like the Hag and Squig Gobbla, or expand Gitmob.

Solid guesses. I could add a few things.

Sourbreath Troggoths, are in legends at the moment but could be revived into Gitmob in addition to the armoured Troggoths.

Grotbag Scuttlers, at the moment only background fluff. But sky pirate gitz vs flying Skaven vs Kharadron Overlords would be pretty epic.

We also got a Skragrott lore piece recently that declared war against the Skaven. Maybe moonclan could be getting some vehicles like a pumpwagon or a shroomchucka/ bombshroom catapult. Also still need batsquig cav in my life or just a few other type of squigs that got introduced with Mollogs Mob.

That Spider Incarnate is going to appear sooner or later in one form or another purely for prestige. Imagine they don't release it and in seven years it is there still pending as RE. It is not good for them.

I could see them removing the article and just pretend like it never existed if need be. It wont be the first time they would do something like that. We are like the 0.01% of the playerbase that would actually notice.

I kind of feel that if spiders were out, they would have gone at the same time as Bonesplitters.

There are 'last chance to order' kits that did not get a mention in the announcement. BUT, saying that, sure, let's hope that if they get discontinued, we hear about it with enough heads up warning.

The Scuttleboss does get removed along with Bonesplitterz.

I do hope this signals a Spiderfang refresh. That would be very much needed, the whole subfaction is only 3 kits and 1 gets removed. I can see the Arachnarok staying. I could see Spider Riders updated along with a brand new hero (a named hero would also be very welcome) and maybe a new unit to round out the subfaction. A unit of half transformed spidergitz or some kind of web shooting unit. This could also be a great new home for the Spider Incarnate.

  10. I really hope codex en tomes get squatted. At least for the army rules part. Just make them narrative books for the faction with some battleplans and path to glory and other fun stuff. But keep the rules out of it. They get invalidated before they hit the shelves anyway. Just make army rules and warscrolls a free pdf. I think this will only result in more sales of minis without the tome tax.

    Also...

    Hmm, interesting...

Rachel Tongue, Games Workshop's current Chief Financial Officer, has sold roughly $875,000 of her share holdings in the firm, according to a share dealing notification Games Workshop published on Monday.

    She obviously played BoC.

I guess it depends if they want to keep the Native American like aesthetic of the forest goblins that the spiderfang units still have or go a completely different direction with them

They should have doubled up on the caveman theme with both Spiderfang and Bonesplitterz and put them in the same tome. But i guess that wont be happening anymore.

Would be nice if there's some lore explanation, but GW also could go radio silence. Like what happened with Wanderers.

Yes thats is true, but they did get replaced by one of the biggest army refreshes GW has done so far. So im wondering what BoC and BS get replaced by or made room for. Silent people? Frazzlegitz? Something weird?

Once again: the squatted models are not going to legends. They're getting matched play rules. Those rules cease being matched play legal next year.

Nobody wondering why all these things are getting squatted? Do we expect something to happen that causes this change/removal of armies? Some kind of mid season narrative campaign?

Just give me a renewed BoC and reimagined/ integrated BS please.

I understand you very well! For me, the answer (or at least a temporary solution) is: smaller games. A Warcry band is much more manageable than a full army and still lets you taste the faction. For WH40k I recently agreed with a friend that we should try Combat Patrol - a single box is, again, something I can reasonably plan for. Could such projects grow into „proper” armies? Maybe, but I try not to pressure myself.

I agree. Warcry fixed a lot of issues i had with 3rd edition and also made me enjoy my old models again that got shoved into legends too. It is really easy to proxy models by just looking at the weapon profiles. I am also in the process of building a Warcry board. It is actually doable because the board is really small and i dont have to build a complete 60x44 size board.

  16. I am looking into Infinity at the moment. I like the xcom style gameplay and that an army has like a maximum of 15 model, perfect for a side project imho. I know some of u play or have played multiple games and i value your opinions above some random sponsored youtuber. I have painted a total of 3 metal minis in my life and i know the basics. Clean, varnish and more varnish. But thats about it, so i have some questions.

    1. Do i need to use a file or can i get away with the back of a knife?

    2. Is there some type of super glue thats good/best for metal minis? I know there are many types of super glue and dont want to mess up new minis.

    3. Do i need a thick coat of primer or does it need a similar coat compared to plastic?

    4. Varnish after primer before painting or not?

    5. I am reading a bunch of different opinions about N4 and CodeOne and where a beginner should start. As someone who is familiar with Warhammer, what do u recommend?

    6. How hard of a game is N4 really? Imho it seems like a lot of rules but not really much bookkeeping while playing. I feel like most rules and actions do what u expect them to do.

    6. Nvm

    7. Any good european webstores that sell infinity related stuff like terrain and tokens etc? I love all the warsenal stuff but it has €50 shipping costs.

    8. Anything else i need to be aware of?

    That checks out for order.

New daemons would be great, I'd really love to see some new unit types for them, it's been ages since they got anything brand new outside of characters I think, it'll be interesting if they do it a god at a time(aos release) or all 4 together (40k release)

I hope they do a huge daemons release with 40k and update them all in one go. Dont know if it even possiblem
