I rediscovered the hobby during lockdown (used to collect Chaos/Slaanesh as a kid) and I am loving all of it. I have immersed myself in the message boards (lurking this one mainly) and I am glued to YouTube/Twitch when I can be - particularly a fan of GooberTown/eMR/Vince/TTM/Sam Lenz. The journey so far has been a perfect blend of escapism and nostalgia and the painting side has also offered a real chance to improve a skill which feeds the motivation to continue. Honestly, at this point my mental health owes a lot to Warhammer which would have sounded odd to me a year ago.
The paint jobs, terrain pieces, conversion ideas, fan fiction, digital art etc in these threads and beyond is so impressive and I really feel like I am in this for the long haul.
I am only a recent returner to the hobby and have not even played a game yet so I do understand those out there that have invested infinitely more time, effort, and money are fully entitled to their criticism. It's just, you won't hear any of that from me just yet.
A couple of weeks ago I got the urge to start a Skaven army so right now I am just waiting for my Skaven SC box to be delivered and I am very excited about it. I just have to decide if I am going to stick with the green colour theme for the Pestilens or go for something more original - any ideas/tips/input etc is very welcome. Thank you!
Thought I would share a couple of models I have done in the last few months.. nothing special but it's a start.

I feel you, I really hope that isn't what they do. I think it would be a nice gesture if they did both coins for the £60 but that could be wishful thinking!
50 quid on eBay... that's ludicrous. I wonder if anyone is actually buying them for that.

Are you in the UK? Only ones I've ever seen here are random. They make you work to find that chocolatey treat.

As a noob to AoS, I'd be interested in hearing how many books you lot think will be coming after Morathi - and maybe have a stab at what those books may be? (All conjecture, of course).

Don't forget to check your local charity shops/'thrift stores'.
I found this lot for £4 in the UK recently... 40 necrons, 3 destroyers and 9 scarabs (sorry it's not AoS - I'm new is this allowed?)

Thanks for the replies. I think if the price is correct above I will just go for the whole S&P box - you can never have enough plastic, right? I've already built up a decent sized pile in a few months...
Is there any date on when the Slaanesh Diachasm models will be out? They look so sick.

Hey guys, this is my first post 😃
I've only been back into the hobby for a few months but so excited about everything coming up, especially the Lord of Pain. How likely is it that I will be able to pick up this model on it's own, I have plenty of the other Slaanesh stuff in the S&P box. Do GW release individual models from boxes like this - eBay maybe? Thanks.

I'm mainly just a lurker but as it's the 3k page I thought it appropriate to say thanks to everyone that contributes to this thread, I got back into the hobby during lockdown and this place has complemented my journey massively.
I also wanted to use this chance to ask if there are any Skaven rumours? I've recently got into painting clan rats and picked up the pestilens SC box - would love new sculpts or something to get hype about!
