Hopefully the trial ends a bit earlier, I'm sure they can gauge the engagement a bit easier now that it's the fourth GW magazine they've done but I'm kind of disappointed about the misleading advertising. It'll already be 20 months before the magazine ends so I just want it to start already... The savings hardly matter if the pace of my interest overtakes it.

Ouch, I was just looking into Lethisian Defenders given the new SCE banner bearer grants healing/respawning and that complements Lethis. It's a shame they're ignoring it despite still selling the supplement... Moreso because core battalions and universal traits/artefacts would've really helped the allegiance, right? 

I'm sure you could still play outside of tournaments, it's not like it'd be particularly broken for a friendly matched play game but... Yeah. Hopefully CoS 2.0 supports it. Gotta miss the Excelsior Warpriest option though 😂

That sucks, I know support in the way of an allegiance update was unlikely but I had hoped for some faq points changes and perhaps some interesting GA Chaos allegiances or such that would buff them indirectly like Greenskinz in Big Waaagh. 

It's a shame that so much of FW was shafted, like Tamurkhan has to be one of the most impressive models released and it's just an OOP model falling to power creep now. At-least recasts exist, unlike some other OOP stuff seem easy enough to find.

I rather like the allegiance but the loss of a spell lore is a bit jarring and the battalion is a awkwardly fixed to what's in the box. It's a shame CoS is so restricted; I would've liked to use the Scourge Privateers battalion with this.

My own comments were more in relation to taking "your own" artefacts in someone else's Tribe, which is what I think @Ganigumo was asking about (e.g. can a Warstomper in Takers Tribe use a Warstomper artefact) .  But what you're saying is correct too.

The trait for the Taker Tribe trait that lets you take two artefacts specifically states the Krakeneater list (trophies taken by force) so it's either one Krakeneater with two or two with one each.

Damn, I wish they had more artefacts/traits. I was presuming that would be the bulk of the book. Gargants are all about looted trophies so it's a bit jarring the artefact cap is 1 or 2 with a Krakeneater. 

They're mostly uninspired too, very mathhammery. What a shame. I was hoping for 6/6/6 for each Mega then an equivalent to Mancrushers, like maybe a unit of 3 could unlock 1 for their "champion", and the usual subfaction stuff.

I think it'd be a battalion style modifier to an existing warscroll, like the old Braggoth and modern Ironjawz wd supplement.

It's odd they showed off nine warscroll cards, perhaps eight if they always have a duplicate display one. I don't recall these things being a stock image so surely that confirms 8-9 warscrolls? 

There are four warscrolls we know of in SoB and then three mercenary warscrolls. I'm guessing Mancrushers get one or two. 

It's a bit odd to see Brutes on the cover. Perhaps they're just for scale purposes but I think that hints at some hidden ally mechanics for them and perhaps other Destruction races. I wonder if it's lowkey a Dogs of War Destruction army of sorts.
