I think I'm in the minority when I say I'd like to see a few things 'nerfed'
Everyone wanted the lethality to be reduced, the problem is that people just want the lethality of their rivals to get the nerfs

I guess we'll come back to this conversation in about six week's time.
Tbh I don't really care about BoC, but a staff is never an absolute source of information.

GW staff's own words, EVERY army that had a Vanguard/Spearhead box is included in Spearhead play.
Gw staff's own words, BoC was not getting squatted.

'More hard work came when deciding how to clearly represent the Health and Save characteristics. Hundreds of miniatures were lined up to compare, with Health largely defined by their volume, and Save largely defined by the amount of armour worn. These were then grouped together to help decide where brackets for each characteristic would start and end.'
Guess Fyreslayers are going to get a 6+ save if they're purely going by armour. Not many other factions are brave enough to wear so little
And low volume, so 1 wound.

I am patient. Also, I don't want any of those models either, I am just thinking of ways to keep the momentum. So far the hype has been handled pretty poorly.
Yes, the marketing has been terrible, but I think that is because the scenery curse with dw6, warcry and skaventide delayed one or two weeks.
Now we should get articles from today until 20th/21th of June, and is rumored that the announce of the box is xoming the 22th.
In the pre-release day we should get the core rules and the next week the indexes, so we are covered from now until the summer, when they start announcing the new minis for the stromcast and skaven codexes

No #NewAoS I thought it could be a nice way to keep the hype up. Maybe in the following weeks.
Mate, they have just revelaed the full box, and now we are going to get a month full of rules everyday with the faction focuses.
We should have a little bit of patience.

With faction focuses beginning next week, who do yall want to see first (beside stormcast because we know they are first)
I'm hoping to see the Seraphon and Ossiarch stuff this week, especially Seraphon. I'm curious if they will keep the Cosmic Power Point summoning for the starborn in 4th and if they do, how different it will be from 3rd
Sce, skaven, death (nh?), destro (gsg?), order (lrl?)
order (ser?), chaos (nurgle?), death (obr?), destro (kbz?), order (sylv?)

Well they're two attacks now, they keep the rend on lofted shots, they still have the ability to crit on a 5+ and auto wound is a solid ability. Of course it all depends on points but that looks like a pretty solid warscroll now.
I want to see the full picture there. If they can upgrade their crits to 5+, if they are still wizards or the range.

Soon will be uploaded to the resources site: Resources - Retailers' Network (games-workshop.com)
An interesting note, I was looking at it in case it was ready to be downloaded and I found out they have over there pics of 12 Spearheads!
They are:
- DOK.
- SOB.
- KO.
- Nurgle.
- Silvaneth.
- HoS.
- Khorne.
- OBR.
- SG.
- GG.
- Ogors.
- ID.
If we sum up to that those that we know already have one (SCE, Skavens, CoS and FEC) we have 16 factions and we can have a pretty solid idea of the early released factions for 4th, maybe?
So:
- FS.
- LRL.
- Seraphon.
- Nightaunt.
- Tzeentch.
- S2D.
- Warclans.Intetesting guesses, I'm gonna add some spice.
-LRL: actually, with the new batallion system, ydrilan are alone, so the need one hero to come with them.
-Ser: one hero squatted early in the edition, instead of just wait to the release book like they are doing in 40k
-Tz: Two resin heroes being sold out already.
-S2D: Chaos sorc being sold out aswell.
-Orruk: We need another spearhead for them, to play ironjawz in that gamemode.

8 new minis and a terrible scenery, what a preview.
Is sad to carry with that spearhead stuff that rise te price to 210€, without that the price would be pretty interesting.

A good leaked core book would send the hype-o-meter to the moon.

Having the reveal in less than 33 hours made me realise we still havent had any more leañs about the content than those spanish ones. Weird. GW stuff tends to get leaked two exact days before, at the very least.
40k is the leakfiesta, Aos rarely has leaks.

If it was you would see more developers wanting to buy the License to make AoS video game. you also have to account that 40K maybe the Primier product that hoist GW into becoming top dog and not so much the other products.
like I am not really seeing AoS grow or branch out into other media outside of the TT space. It is extremely lacking.
If I wanted to be pediatric I can state that AoS fallen off the second place mark last year in some polls and data that have said they where second place years ago too
Last time I checked aos was the 4th in the chart, yes.
I think 3rd edition was the most anticipated edition of recent warhammer (even more than 10th or 9th) but the hype builded around it fell off in the first year and half and never recovered momentum.
Idk if was kruleboyz, the delays, the clonic books, the boring one-hero releases, the rules bloat in ghbs, the lack of lore and campaigns…

Wondering if someone could explain, because It may be a gap in my experience.
What is the overlap between Wrestling and AoS. I’d rather see some in depth interviews with the design team, concept artists and game development team. Even a Game with some of the Warhammer TV usuals.
But thats just me.
I prefer seeing some honest AEW dudes having fun with the spearhead than some bunch of corporative robots with a script to reveal the bare minimum.

We have old characters playing a role: Bael, Callis and Toll, King Brodd, Ionus, Vandus, Gardus, Drycha, Astreia, Neferata, Reikenor, Gabriel, Khul, Kroak, Kragnos, Karazai and his brother... all those just from the top of my mind.
Yes, they are being mentioned in the series, but most of them are just there to move the plot to the new characters. Is not like they have proper agendas or a prominent plays in the setting (like happened in second edition), they are there like NPCs.

I feel nothing about those images.
The city invented six months ago has fallen, and the character invented less than a year ago is looking worried at it.
Where are all the stories that started in second edition? The old and (barely) developed characters we had three (or six) years ago?
