I can't tell you how much I wish Gotrek would achieve his glorious end.

It's starting to be like Mountain Dew. The original was nice. Diet was predictable and has a place. Code Red was a fun variation.

Do we really need chocolate jalapeno mountain dew? Is that even really still mountain dew? Can't there be a *new* soda that isn't tossed out there in a lazy fashion by slapping the MD brand name on it to avoid the effort of having to make it succeed on its own merits?

How many versions of the original do we need? When does it cease being the same thing at all?

    Get off my lawn.

I get what you're saying, but there are like 60 AoS original Novels compared to the 5 new Gotrek stories. It's not like it's your only option

What are "new" mythic AoS named characters? I am not well versed on the lore, and for me the old names still have much more meaning. Even when I look at AoS lore, they seem to have recycled some of the main ones. What is a well-known AoS exclusive name?

    Named mythic characters with models:

    Avalenor

    Celennar

    Celestant-Prime

    Rotigus

    Shalaxi Helbane

    Gordrakk

    Katakros

    Arch-Kavalos Zandtos

    Volturnos

    Syll'Esske

    Lady Olynder

    Candid Hammerhand

    Asteria Solbright

    Brook Grungsson

    Skragrott The Loonking

    Vokmortian

    Horticulous Slimux

    Crawlocke the jailor

    Mega Gargant Mercs

    And the underworld warbands

There's probably some that I might have missed though.

yeah i would put more stock on Grotbag Scuttler since it both an actual name drop by GW and they constantly mention in the fluff.

things like grot who decided to live in the oceans, steam golem automatons, chaos worshipping duradin, armored chaos gargants. i would put less stocks on

To be fair though the automatons and chaos duradin have also been getting more mentions. I do think a majority of things like this are more to give hobbyist inspiration for projects, but as with Sons of Behemat, anything is possible.

Can someone explain to me where did the pirates part in vampires came along? Total War? that's fantasy battle and has nothing do with AOS...

Pretty much, there does exist undead pirates in the form of The Wraith Fleet from Fire Storm, but that was a mixed undead force not just vampires. It's a cool idea and part of the lore, but I don't think the initial soulblight will be pirates.

The next one I also think's Bonesplitters. The green background, skull motif (ironically next to Ossiarchs) and their not having a warband thus far makes it a solid guess imo.

The Green one could be the Silent People warband. It is quietly insectoid in shape and match the bone like structure we saw on the card refering them.

Very excited for April if either of these are correct, and I'll be excited still if it's something completely different and unexpected.

An independent human faction that isn't specifically tied to Sigmar would make me happy. Nothing against ol' Sig, but between Stormcast and Cities he doesn't really need to slap his brand on anything more.

Magi-tech would be a fun angle, and could open the door to some very fun asthetics, designs, and units.

Really like this, there is already so many cool magi-tech kingdoms that have mentioned in lore or art that would be amazing to see in some form on the table top.

From the complete opposite end of the tech spectrum, I hope for human worshipers of gorkamorka to exist some day.

I'm personally optimistic about cities, from all the great ideas shared already it's clear they have great potential.

*Looks at GTA Death* 101 models

    *Looks at Destruction* 93 models

*Looks at Chaos Dwarfs* zero plastic :(

Hey chaos dwarfs at least get mentioned in lore and still have the option to use FW, all fimir get a small island in ghyran and 2 models that you can't even get.

WHAT IF  the new Death faction has Zombies that the models are from various AoS factions? A Sylvaneth rotting tree, zombie dwarf, zombie aelves, etc. All lead but badass Vampires! Need Blood Knights, Vampire foot soldiers, Vampire archers, etc.

Realistically I'd give that less than a 1% chance but I can dream right?

Reminds me of that one regiment of renown with the different skeletons, would be cool to see something like that.
