  1. There’s loads more to come from the Cities of Sigmar as we near release, so grab your fusil-cannon, strap on your cuirass, and give full-throated praise to Sigmar! Yay more goodies
  2. I'm putting together a team...To take down to the local Gregg's I love these more average-looking middle-aged fellows. Makes them feel more alive you know, not being these stereotypical warriors within the rank and file of the army.
  3. There is also an upper limit to how many factions GW can support. If we assume that chorfs and Malerion's pointy ears are the last factions to join AoS, then we are looking at 26 factions in the game. Supporting so many at the same time is a herculean task even for a company the size of GW. In the next edition, I could see one new faction joining the fray, but the other releases will be new additions to already existing factions.
  4. A little fish friend spotted on the large crossbow wielder And a little...Head spotted on the base of the smaller spear wielder
  5. Undoubtedly, Peachy from the Painting Phase claims the entire Primaris Spacemarine range up until Leviathan was designed at the same time, and those models were released over the course of 5 years. There are some updated Stormcast and new Krule lads waiting in the wings.
  6. Bit sad to see some of these kits go away for who knows how long, but the Phoenix units had their days counted when the lumineth arrived with their own firebird insignias and the fact that Tyrion is called the Lord Phoenix. I am going to say that when the Lumineth get their next tome in 3 weeks, those units will rise from the ashes in the Lumineth style
  7. I will almost bet that a new warrior priest will be released, or at the very least the excelsior warpriest will be coming into rotation again.
  8. Dear Nagash, please let this dead(?) Vampire be on the FEC equivalent of a Grail reliquary.
  9. Not a super huge fan of them from my initial impression, but next to the war-hulk and from a different angle they have grown on me.
  10. Various RTS/general strategy game content creators have been given some hands-on experience with the new AoS RTS and have uploaded videos of some multiplayer battles LionHeart is one of the more laid-back youtubers, and is good at giving a general overview of a game.
  11. I wouldn't put too much weight into the described height. It's from the perspective of a Dorf, an adult pony would fit the same size description.
  12. Another Warhammer setting agnostic rumor. Weird and disproportionate elbows could be for quite a few things, the only thing that throws me off is the "wire" under the arm. Maybe a Ghoul or Moulder thing, or perhaps a mutant for 40k
  13. The new one is just a generic AoS one that could be anything, I suppose they switched to these because the fanbase was able to guess what the battletomes were very quickly.
  14. So if the wanderers are going out, then I would assume they end up becoming the Kurnothi with the Sylvaneth. The Phoenix temple will probably become a part of the Lumineth with new kits for the bird and the guards since phoenixes are a motif the Lumineth hold. If the leftover dark elves stay, that could mean that Malerion is still far away and there is no point in priming the fanbase for their inevitable removal right now.
  15. The only thing I was better about underworlds and warcry is that the units that are native to those game systems usually don't translate that well into AoS, they're usually just too unwieldy with underworlds and warcry tends to just be a low-cost filler unit
  16. On the topic of the KruleLads, they mentioned Swamp dragon eggs being stolen and raised by them. So now we have 2 references for their inclusion with the Belcha banner
  17. In hindsight, it kinda makes sense that they didn't reveal anything for the next Dawnbringer book since that might make people not purchase the new sets they came out with today.
  18. A massive leather apron to protect the body from the flames and spark, but still chooses to wear no shirt at all. Did this guy try out for the DoK before he joined the Cities?
  19. One of the hog riders has a helmet and steers the pig, while an alternative build, probably a hero variant, has no helmet and dual wields some choppas
  20. Still not sure how people can guess Fyreslayers from those generic axes, if I look in my shed I can probably find some that look exactly alike.
  21. My guess is that the preview will show off a little bit of the next Dawnbringer book, and the chaos part of it will be Skaven. The Big Pig for the Iron Jawz has been shown, so maybe a new monster for the Skaven to hammer home the theme of the second book?
  22. The 40k campaign is so scuffed it is actually insane. Most people are fans of space marines and as such, more games will be played with them, most 40k communities around me had endless posts about people who wanted to sell their Tyranid half of the new box. And also the box is super in the Marines' favor by like 250 points. Unless the community artificially increases the number of Tyranid victories, we can look forward to a Marine showcase on the 15th.
  23. Makes sense, the reveals are spaced out in 2 - 4 week segments.
