you may be right, on closer inspection it does look to be some kind of curved helmet with some pennants in front. I sincerly hope it's a generic combat hero.

at the front is eltharion , you can just see the curve of his helmet and the edge of his main sword in the corner of your circle, i am more interested in what looks to be behind him, the weird white triangle esque thing.

its just the picture angle, if you look closely you can see the horns. still just goes to show how long some of these hafts are.

just looking at the image above i would not be surprised if the spears had a range 3", those things look as large as the stormcast protector glaive if not bigger.

I seem to remember the sisters of battle box vanished within 24 hours of release, and consdering how much the Lumineth were hyped as the new high elves we could see it vanish along the same lines, but we could also see it hang around because people will be put off by the stoneguard and spirits.

I had almost forgotten the tzaangor kit existed your right, it could be possible, I would still consider it unlikely though but thats just my thought on the matter.

Also hoping that the Stoneguard have a Swordmaster variant with big plumes and whopping great sun-swords.
Not so outlandish when you consider who many dual-kits the brand new AOS factions contain, and the only one confirmed for the Lumineth so far is the battle cattle.
Considering that stone guard have 2 weapon options already shown, making them dual kit as well seems odd as the sheer number of parts on the sprue would be massive.

Looking at the image I keep thinking that it's just a tree jutting out but the flare and distance make it difficult to call details so it could be Avalanor or something new.

This would by my thought as well, considering that they have done so for psychic awakeing and some black libary books, perhaps the fact they have not means there is more to reveal?

also with everything happening regarding covid-19 here in the UK I fully understand GW's actions on this as slowing down previeiws is one of the only things they can do or they would run out of news.

So that was the only lumineth shown today, but they are admitting they will be doing another preview in may, and we possibly have the lowdown on moday, still somehwat disapointing considering how long we have now been waiting.

It is, and it currently remains my last hope for more lumineth to come.

The fact it was a sideshow to the warcry reveal means to me there may yet be more to come, let's see if we are shown anything else today.

Whilst I won't be disappointed with this range they do keep mentioning there being more to see but if that's just in terms of adepticon reveals or just the lumineth I'm not sure.

I agree, but if the rumor engine has taught me anything it's that the image shown will not necessary be at the real angle. Still it's a link that seems just a touch to alike with the other lumineth imo.

This rumor engine is my lasting hope for some more units or heroes to come as it does not match anything we have seen yet and has the same tassles as the other units in the lumineth range.

It takes some zooming but if you look next to the leg of the cow and just behind the horn of his fellow you can see a hammerhead. esque shape with the spike sticking out the back. just my 2p.
I suspect he is holding it revered to puncture armour, hence why it has the spike.

I'm not holding out hope for Tyrion this release, but I wouldn't be surprised by one more elementari temple.I suspect there will be 5 subfactions, the 4 outer teclian nations plus the centre nation but other than that I would agree with what you say here.

If this is all that comes out, I am fine with it as a range. Anything else is going to be a bonus for me. But all this teasing from GW is killing me. On the one hand, they seem to be saving something up for a last big reveal. On the other hand we've seen the battletome artwork, the photos inside the battletome. the concept art, the studio shots etc. and no hint of any additional models in there. I alternate between "that's it, man, get over it" and "ZENITH EAGLE RIDERS TYRION YAAAAAS" every 10 minutes.
I am sort of the same, whilst I love everything they have showed so far and will happly settle for it, I do keep thinking to myself, "Just one more, you can show just one more unit. Please."
