A Lord Commander actually having a model is like, really big lorewise. They lead the ENTIRE Stormhost, so the Hammers having one of them really ups their stock.

Giant enemy scorpion! Preferably for the Daughters of Khaine/Malerions Aelves, make them be semi-ethereal things that lurk in the mists of Ulgu and jump out to take down unsuspecting passerbys. Have them be bedecked in jewels and have runes praising khaine/Malerion carved into their carapace. Boom, insta classic.

But in all seriousness, I reckon there’ll be something similar to what they did with the 40k one, where they show off little glimpses of new models. Whether we’ll be one of them is yet to be seen.

Honestly dude I kinda want us to get nerfed. At least that way every other rules thread won’t just devolve into “sentinels bad, Lumineth baaaaaaad 😭” which in turn lead to reactionary responses from Loomie players who feel attacked. It’d just make things a whole lot easier lol

Ive heard Spikeybits is the Buzzfeed of Wargaming so this may mean nothing but we are starved for Rumours at this point, they too are saying the first 4 BT's could be Maggotkin, Gloomspite, Mawtribes and Beasts of Chaos.

Yeah as much as I’d like this to be true it seems to be just them going “this range has a lot of old models so it MUST be up for a new book” and “this faction has an old book so it must be getting a new one soon”. It’s plausible but I wouldn’t take it as gospel truth or fact by any means.

Guys a thought just struck me. So the poster factions for each GA for 3.0 seem to be Stormcast, Orruks, Soulblight, and Slaves to Darkness. The Stormies and Orruks are gonna get Battletomes very soon with the rest of their waves and Soulblight just got one. So therefore, it’d be reasonable to assume that maybe STD are gonna be the first faction to get a Battletome. It could be like how Beasts in 2.0 only got scenery - Slaves get some scenery as well as updated warscrolls and rules for Be’lakor and the like. Then maybe the factions that actually desperately need a release (IDK, Nurgle, Nighthaunt) will come with possibly a new faction in between.

A cool lore snippet related to KO from Soulbound I found on the Soulbound discord. Dunno which book it’s from (probably Steam and Steel), but here:
