No way to know. CoS was always a refugee range, and dark elves are one of the factions in Sigmar that will likely get ripped out of CoS and rolled into a new army as Lumineth did with high elves just before CoS got an independent tome.

That is what I am afraid of, that a good amount of the models might go the way of the tomb kings.

Any other army that can give the same underdog feeling as basic humans against the horrors of the realms? .. Or another army that can give a kinda "old school" feeling against gravelords and orcs

  2. ,Just found out that had 2 boxes of Scourgerunner/drakespawn chariots, from back when Cities of Sigmar was first release. Was relly hyped for CoS, but never got it started when the book was release.

Now I am thinking of getting back into AoS again, and would love to do some Cities of Sigmar (Would fit in with my friends starting gravelords and orcs )

Is it viable to do a mixed race army, how does the dark elves models hold up ? .. Will it all be gone when the new cities models get released ?

Nevertheless, I do have a question and I was hoping people with more experience could answer. As I said above "I do wonder how rules for him will work out. Those two mutants (ogors?) with purple crab claws look like they could potentically be melee monsters of Glutos. That Painbringer guy on the left will be a melee combatant. That leaves that guy with whip, the guy holding a platter with food on the right, halfling? and Glutos himself".

Could see them doing something similar to katakros, where the painbringers, cook, and other models die, and looses their bonus as the model takes damage. Can't image glutos os much of a fighter himself

Really doesn't make sense for me to get an army that isn't that bad only to be destroyed by some point FaQ in 2-3 months... I am not a meta gamer I own a fluffy sempiternal SCE army rn but wanted something more competitive hope it's understandable.

This could happen to any army, with the next faq, or a generals handbook. Properly not a good idea do base army choice on that, unless you are a high level tournament player

  6. hey all, might restart my bonereapers while I wait for more vampire news, and the release of warhammer quest and the, all too awesome, underworlds warband.

Thinking of starting with a 1000 point list, so wanna hear what units are good to run, and how the different units perform.
might go for a mounted army, if viable, else one focused on mortek and harvesters.

thanks in advance for the help :)

Is it worth mentioning a reminder to not get too over-excited for the preview?

We've seen how these go in the past where people hype it up before hand then complain when there isn't much new shown off. Don't forget we already had stuff shown early due to the leaks that most likely would've been part of the Saturday preview.

Will say that this time, GW have hyped the release up to be something big. More so then they usually do
