  1. Hi,

As a lumineth player I have spells that prevent a unit (wether it is several or only one model) to charge if I roll higher than their bravery.

There are also abilities like the shriek of the terrorgheist that inflicts mortal wounds if they roll higher than the bravery of a unit/model.

The bravery of single models is useful in such cases but yeah they will never have to take a bravery test !

Can anyone explain why the Lore of Hysh says Light of Eltharion can know a spell?

Seems to be a printing mistake or the remnants of a different vision they had for eltharion. It has been FAQed since and Eltharion has nothing to do with wizzardry anymore.

This is sad because he has no use anymore for aetherquartz :/

You’d need to include some kind of rule to represent what a massive ****** idiot he is too.

like he has to always be moving towards/attacking the largest enemy on the table, once per game he has to throw away his main weapon, & instead of bravery & a battleshock test, you build up ‘sulking’ points and if you get too many he just takes his ball home and leaves his mates to get endlessly railed by tentacular hellspawn.

I love it ! Would be amazing if he could throw gal Maraz on a 2+ but on a 1 he loses it :)

I can see them unlocking a stormcast Seige chamber with giant armored stormcast- think dreadnaut stormcast. I suspect they'll go down that road. Kinda like what is proposed here.

More generally I'd just love a warsroll rewrite for the prime. He's fine as pointed now for some contexts but just lets down on the relationship between his fluff and his rules. I want him to cost another hundred or 200 pts and rules to match.

A Stormcast dreadnought would be incredible ! This would allow to diversify the look of the army on the table instead of having mostly infantry !

  5. Hi everyone as I saw this image of Sigmar I just thought that it was incredibly detailed and that it wouldn't be very hard to make a real miniature out of this. Since Nagash and archaon are playable, do you think that one day Sigmar will be too ? What do you imagine his rules would be ?

Personally I imagine either a miniature the size of a bloodthirster or naggash  jumping ahead agressively with both his hands lifting a gigantic hammer (something like the Kratos image) costing around 900 points and being even killier than gotrek while being a even better support piece than katakros for stormcast.

    OR

If gw doesn't feel like doing an actual Sigmar mini they might do an avatar of kaine type mini : an avatar of Sigmar which would be around 500-600 points and be a buffed up celestant prime maybe with more of a buff giver vibe (like katakros).

What do you think ? :) Do you picture something else ?

    How exactly?

I guess mortal wounds for sure and being able to displace models to gain control of objectives, to pick off targets like a mortek hekatos (entomb spell of the stone mage)...

But basically anything that has mobility can shoot or Deal mortal wounds is an hard counter to ossiarch bonereapers :)

  7. Hi folks ! So glad that the lumineth are finally up for pre-order !

Since the 3 inch range on the warden's spears is just confirmed, I have an actual rule question :

If I were to place my spearmen in a line with their spears in front of them preventing an enemy mini to be placed there, (as the spears wouldn't let sufficient room to place a base) would the ennemy unit be unable to attack with a 1 inch range  ??

Thank you in advance for your answers !! ;)

  8. Hi guys,

Given the last preview of the lumineth realm-lords in the upcoming white dwarf I was wondering what was the rule in order to pile-in closer to a model with such a long pike?

If I position my lumineth unit with their pikes down in front of them and a unit charges them and wants to pile in 3 inches like normal.... What happens if they can't get any closer because the pikes are in the way and there isn't any space in which the unit that wants to pile-in can place its models closer to the lumineth models??

Are they considered out of reach if their weapons have only 1 inch of range and they can't get closer than 2 inches because of the pikes in the way??

    Thank you in advance!! :)

Here are the 3 spotted batalions for OBR

1 super not playable battalion for 4000 points games that includes nighthaunt as allies

1 battalion offering + 1 to wound for the ghotizar harvester  if you take 2 kavalos death rider units alongside

And maybe the only one actually playable a battalion allowing you to resurrect 1 model per turn if within 8 inches of vokmortian

(all of those batalions need to be played in mortis praetorian and need vokmortian in the army as a general (except for the last one))

I wish so hard that vokmortian wasn't   the stupidest and most poorly written warscroll of the army.. :(

I don't think so. In February WD Ironsunz got only those three battalions. If a particular subfaction already exist it doesn't get new allegiance abilities. Syll'Eske got new abilities because they don't belong to those three main Slaanesh subfactions from BT.

Well the Tithe legion isn't an existing subfaction in the ossiarch battletome :) it seems to be Vokmortian's legion

Hey folks, what do you think about the white dwarf preview of the legion of tithe?

It's mentioned that there will be 3 warscroll battalions do you think there will also be new subfactions abilities?

What rules do you think ossiarch bonereapers would need right now to allow for more diverse play style ? :)

(I would trade my +1 save for something built around resurrection)

  13. Hi folks, this is my 1st post actually :)

I was just wondering who do you think is going to win the battle for the eight points?

I think that since the Ossiarch just got introduced with Katakros depicted as a one of the greatest generals who has ever lived, they need to make him suceed to establish how threatening he can be.

On the other end Chaos has been on the defensive since sigmarines got into the fight and they could also use a victory..

What do you think? Is this going to turn into another stalemate or a decisive victory??

Can't wait to read your opinion! :)
