    Yep,the problem is thunderbolt volley.

Rigth now longstrikes are to me even overcosted,a unit of 240 points that only have 6 wounds with save4???? But of course almost 500 points of lomgstrikes doubleshooting is the problem.

The fix is easy, delete thunderbolt volley and put lomgstrikes at 180 points. But as all we know gw only gonna increase lomgstrikes in 40 points and in the future as allways nerf thunderbolt volley but not unnerf lomgstrikes.

Btw i bougth krondrys on a whim because im a freak of dragons even before read his scroll. But now that i have done numbers these twin dragons are horrible lol.

How heck they cost 600 points????

    -nameds,as they cant get upgrades

-krondys does 10.2 damage vs one model and 2 mortals with ranged

-melle dragon around 13 damage vs one model and 2 mortals with ranged

-havent ward save neither special save, feel no pain, neither nothing to protect against mortals wounds,so 600 points for a model that die with 18 mortals.

I know that his damage is bigger vs many models due to the tail, but 3" isnt huge so even against 10 models his damage is inferior to idoneths turtle or maw krushas per example that cost 200 less points.

Im missing something?i feel they need a faq in december that gives them a ward of 4 or 5 or a reduction in points,to me these stats are models of 450 for krondrys and 400 for the melle but 600 are waaaaay too much for his stats

I dont think delete thunderbolt volley Is a good solution.  I love " once per game" abilities because it force the player to take decisions.  Its the competitve part of the hobby that i love and I think aos3.0 is way batter about competitve part of the hobby

I don't even know what to say about that reveal from facehammer.  What an absolute joke.  This is literally the worst battletome release they have ever done.  Can't wait for the next tomes to release with broken stuff that stays broken for most of the edition while continuing nerfs to Stormcast occur.  After all, Stormcast don't need to be play tested, just wait to see what loud people say and then nerf accordingly.  Who needs data?  I mean, besides every other army in AOS and every army in 40k.

I mean, if GW isn't going to play test and instead do whatever the anti stormcast mob suggests, what should be next?  Since they are going to change the dragons warscroll tge sky is the limit!  Maybe change fulminators to damage 2 on the charge with 4 attacks and rend 1 on the charge in addition to the points nerf?

Maybe change the imperitant's deep strike ability to only work on redeemer units?

Maybe get rid of save stacking for Stormcast only because we already have good saves?

Maybe reduce the shots longstrikes get by 1 for each model in addition to point hikes?

How about reducing the vindictors save to a 4+ and make the shield a 6+ ward against mortal wounds from magic spells only?

I mean, like I said, if they are just going to abdicate playtesting and do what angry haters suggest then why not those changes sooner or later?  What an absolute farce.

I 100% disagree with that. If we are speaking about how competitive stormcast are, they are in a good spot now. In 2.0 it was one of worst army in the game, now in every single tournemant all over the world they pretty mutch always got 4-1 . Sometimes 5-0.

I dont think translocation prey nerf is a big deal in this army. Fulminators and logstrike are prob the best units in the game and tgere are many playable list/ units amd combos.

About stormdrakes their warscroll is the same. Prob one of the best warscroll in the game. You can still fit into a list 4 drakes and 6 longstrike , so I dont see a reason to cry about STCE!😓

Wow, a great weekend for Nighthaunt at tournaments.

Bill Souza took his Hexwraith spam and Big Drogg list to a 5th place finish at Da Boyz GT. His only loss was game 1 against Jordan from Season of War and his Lumineth. Another player then went 5-0 at a 24 player event called Little Bo Peep GT. I haven't seen the 5-0 list, but there's pics of the games on Twitter and it looks like a MSU list running Olynder and Reikenor. You can find the pics on Twitter under the account "PissPoorGeneral".

Do you know where I can find the 5-0 list ? I cant find it :(

Hello there! I think I can answer this one :)

So, according to the Spirit of the Wind rule, you can make a normal move of 12", with the possibility of retreating. So the question arises, what is exactly a normal move? And what about retreating?

A normal move is the typical move that you do when you are outside of combat range. Rule 8.1 specifies that units cannot move within 3" of enemy units when making a normal move. As you can probably see from the restriction of the normal move, what you are describing in your example is not a normal move, but rather, the pile-in move that you can do in combat range. The pile-in move is not considered a normal move. The retreat move, on the other hand, is the one that you can do to leave a combat. Rule 8.2 specifies that units must move outside of 3" of enemy units when making a retreat move. So in your example, you need to retreat outside of 3" if you use the Spirit of the Wind rule.

What you could do and would be perfectly legal would be to not use the Spirit of the Wind rule, leaving your flying fox in combat, which allows to do its pile-in move to get to 2.9" distance when you activate it again. This is very good to force the enemy to activate a particular unit in combat before you get away again, and that leaves you opportunities for counter-attacking in another part of the board. With the 5+ the fox seems like an easy target, but with aetherquartz, all-out defence, and the 5+ ward save, it can be more durable than your opponent may think at first ;)

    Hope I was helpful!

Thx , amazing!! Thx a lot !!! 😀, one thing again.. when I charge i can pile in back, but when its my oppo turn, I cant pile in back again! The rules from hurakan works only the turn you are charging.

In my exemple i can charge and pile back to 2.9 , my oppo pile 1" , he become 1.9" far from me so a melee qeapon of 1" cant reach. The problem in my exemple is in my opponent turn.

You explain me retreat is not a normal move, so if my opponent activate that unit in combat with spirit of the wind he reach me, ifs 0.9" far now. You suggest me to stay in combat anyway? :)

  6. On app they put verdant blessing spell on all wizard warscroll, its not an FAQ. Its just the app. There were no reason to do that, but they did it. Maybe something is changed about how to consider that spell. So I asked , i q because I thought to have miss something. Thx for A anyway.

  7. Guys today i played a game with my friend , my warchanter give +1 damage to melee weapons to a unit wholly within 15" , i have to track a line from warchanter to my maw crusher( unit that received). That line just have to touch maw crush base to be wholly within him?

  8. Guys another question:)

About redeploy . Immagine a unit finish a move within 9" of a unit of 3 gruntas( unit a) I got a maw crusha in range with that unit of grunta and another unit of 3 gruntas ( unit b) When I use redeply i move first unit of gruntas( unit a) in range of 9". When I can move the second unit(b)?. After i move (a) or when my opponent finish a move with another unit in range with (b)? I hope you understood my poor english!:)
