Taking into account what you have both recommended, what do you think of this? 2000 points Anvils Of Heldenhammer: LEADERS Lord Arcanum on Dracoline - 220 - Pride Leader Lord Aquilor - 180 BATTLELINE 3x5 Sequitors - 390 - all the greatmaces. OTHER 9x longstrike Raptors - 510 2x3 Aetherwings - 100 6x Evocators on Dracoline - 600 This list hopefully deals with the prior lack of thump in terms of melee. It also adds two unbinds whilst keeping Aquilor to babysit the raptors. Sequitors should manage being without Castellant better than liberators could for holding objectives. My opponent should have limited options; deal with the scary cat evocators and Arcanum combo whilst being pelted by raptors or focus the raptors while the cats and Sequitors mop up. I lost my extra CP though but could drop 3 Aetherwings to allow for more teleports/hero phase shooting. The Aetherwings are there to act as defence for the raptors should Aquilor need to support an objective. What do you think guys? I feel more confident with the flexibility of this list, even if it does mean losing all the ballista goodness.. 9 drop now so hopefully more chance of first turn too. Thanks again, Goof.

Hey guys, played 40k a few years ago but recently decided to jump into AoS with some Spacecast. Predominantly played shooty lists back in the day so I'd like to have a go at a 2000 point shootcast list. This is what I've thought about taking so far: Anvils of Heldenhammer 1990 points. - Extra CP - 50 LEADERS - Lord Aquilor - 180 To make the longstrike raptors tough to pin down. - Castellant - 120 To chase around the liberators/Sequitors and throw out some juicy buffs. - Ordinator - 140 The usual. BATTLELINE - 3x5Liberators - 300 ARTILLERY - 3xBallistas - 330 OTHER - 9xRaptors with longstrike - 510 - 3xAetherwings - 50 - 3xAetherwings - 50 - 5xSequitors - 130 - 5xSequitors - 130 So I aim to be constantly moving the raptors with Aquilor and using the aetherwings to make them even harder to pin down. Ballistas with ordinator to deploy mid game and mess up some key targets. Castellant/libs/seqs to focus objectives and hastle them while shots fire during hero/shooting phase. Any ideas guys? Yet to play much over 1k randoms so unsure of the viability of this list. I wanted to take 4 ballista and Azyros but felt like I was sacrificing too many sequitors for properly holding objectives. Appreciate any advice! Goof.
