I just realised all 3 Reclusian bodies are unique.
Why did they decide to pose the two regulars identically?
Yeah, the way they showed them off made them look like a single model with different load outs not separate parts of a unit. I still think they look amazing though

I'm sure there will be some new things upcoming in DB6. Even if nothing super unexpected happens, it'll still be great to read everything in detail and complete the Dawnbringers collection. I'll have the full Broken Realms and Dawnbringers series hopefully, and they look cool on a shelf 😎
They do make a damned handsome shelf

SoulBound: Ulfenkarn: Citiy on the Edge of Death is releasing digitally on Thursday 30th. Finally, it was about a year ago that they last suggested it was going to come out ‘soon’.

Did you register your voucher? I received a mail about doing it. If you do I guess you have to either give it a bit of time. Web site launches are always stressfull and not tend to go as you expect, or contact support.
The email was just telling people to use their vouchers. Mine was already on the website. I really hope they still have my orders I had the limited edition versions of The End and The Death Vol.2 and Dawnbringer’s book 3 on there 😅

Can anyone else see their unfulfilled orders? I can only see my completed orders which is a little worrying. And £20 digital voucher has also disappeared…

I think they mean the army box is the first wave, with the rest as a second wave?
I think they meant this whole release is the first wave. Even if you look at the transfers sheet there are icons for three other sigmasite cults. There’s definitely future plans to fill out the army further but that doesn’t mean a second wave is coming soon.

I assume Cubicle 7 is still releasing Ulfenkarn because they’ve been teasing it all year. But they have not been keeping up with their releases for Soulbound. This is from a production update last November.
“Ulfenkarn: City at the Edge of Death: Editing is now complete on Ulfenkarn and its heading to layout. Expected to release in the coming months!
Ruins of the Past: Writing is well underway on Ruins of the Past, with some chapters already complete. These are being reviewed before heading to editing in a few weeks. Expected PDF release in Q1 2023.
Champions of Chaos: Pre-production is underway on Champions of Chaos, with writing due to begin in the coming weeks! Expected PDF release in Q2/Q3 2023.”

Isn’t GenCon this week? Don’t they usually announce things during that?

There should be an update on Black Library’s coming soon webpage soon. Seeing as there isn’t anything on there that hasn’t gone up for preorder now.

They’ve used pillers to represent the grand alliances before in road maps. A strange thing about our current road map is that the image behind the mystery battletome uses the Order piller. Even though you’d assume it would use the Death one if it was Flash Eater Courts. Could just be an over sight.

This new one "remixes all four episodes of the awesome audio drama into a single full-length novel for the first time", so it seems like it's rewritten in novel form instead of just being the script.
Thank you for finding me reason to own both! Hopefully Blood of the Old World gets the same treatment eventually

"and although the tale became an instant classic it never quite reached the hallowed pages of a Black Library novel. Until now."
I think they're forgetting something from 2019...
Also it should have included the second audio play, Blood of the Old world which has actually never been in print. This collector's edition although very nice just seems like the same as the 2019 version with an old short story added in and probably other content removed. Although saying that I'll still probably buy it because it matches the collectors editions of the three first novels... *sigh*

Hadn't really thought about us getting a miniature of this one, but thinking about it...
Scalewise I think the smaller one up front could work, and we could have a nice bit of steam tech representation with it.Imho I still think a metalith/horse/devoted pulled altar is still more likely, but I'd really love a mini of this.
It wasn’t being pulled by anything in Blacktalon in fact in the concept art and animation it appears to be a sort of traction engine that helps pull the metaliths. Probably steam powered as both show orange flames spilling out the sides. And it appeared to be about the size of a centre piece model. Smaller than the cogfort at least, even if the size is a little inconsistent between scenes. But I suppose I just assumed we’d get a War Alter.
(Sorry for the quality of the photos, Warhammer+ doesn’t allow screen shots)

No, autumn.
Lizards, GHB and Campagin book 1 are the summer releases.
The Batttletome is scheduled for Autumn, there could still be a Cities of Sigmar army box out during the summer though

Seeing as one of the voices in the trailer was clearly a Darkoath who’ll play some part in the story I’d like to see them get expanded in a meaningful way. I love their design since the Darkoath savagers. If it would be possible to field an army of Darkoath which did not purely consist of 5+ save heroes I’d be ecstatic.

I like the new model, and the one rule we've seen is nice and thematic. However, looking back at older models, most ogres/ogors associated with humans in Warhammer haven't had as exaggerated guts. I generally prefer the movement towards more believable bodily proportions. And it makes sense that ogors that live within the cities of Sigmar are going to be more civilized (to an extent) than those that live in the wilds that the Gulping God and other ogors influence and thus aren't trying to ravenously devour everything in sight. Also, having a pole on his back is going to force him to have an upright posture, which is probably part of why he looks so different from past ogors.

Wonder if we’ll get a new piece of realmgate terrain? Seeing as the old one had aged pretty badly and has been out of print for a while.
