So Swifthawk Agents were re-released in AoS form, mentioned in the latest Battletome. Do anyone know anything about the aelves and any potential releases for that faction?

Both spire of dawn and the new SE battletome mention swifthawk agents and aelveish civilization in the realm of light.   I think it would be safe to assume that any campaign books that go there, will have the aelves fully detailed.

Seriously, GW do something cool and give you what you have been asking for and it's not what you wanted and it's like they have stolen your sandwich.

Im sure they are doing what some ppl have asked for but who are those ppl.  getting input from a handful?

We'll know saturday. If it disappears of the app, it'll likely be unusable. If it stays then it's probably fine. Even if it does stay though, the change to the knight azyros made it significantly worse.

Not true the app doesn't run on any of my devices. So the app is not the standard since its not universal

In my opinion he is already expensive at 200pts for a one-trick pony character, if he was even more expensive I wouldn't be able to justify his inclusion...

True, but now he will still be expensive for a one a trick pony. and that trick is less useful.

After seeing the Knight Azyros warscroll and the fact he is cheaper, my gut tells me that the Vexillor will most likely have kept only the meteor banner as an option...

The point changes and battalion's not being given points is not a big deal to me.  The changing of the warscrolls for models does.  If you bought the Vexillor for the teleport, now depending on who you play with the model doesn't do that.    They could have just upped his point cost.

I don't see it that way. Yes, sticking to an allegiance gets you a lot of toys, but not sticking to one gives you the bonus of not having to stick to it. Want Kurnoth Hunters with your Dwarves? Go for it! Want Skaven shooting with your Tzeentch magic? Knock yourself out!

Agreed, but the removal of judicators as generic battleline I think demonstrates a desire to have less mixed armies. Why not have more generic battleline?

I would have to agree. To me it feels like we are being shepherded into very specific pens now. Its a shame in my oppinion. Mixed factions are so much more interesting IMO

interesting I never thought of it as pens but I totally see your point.

Why? You can still play grand alliance armies. You can use general order abilities, many of which are better than Stormcast specific ones.

All the cool stuff is not applicable. And sadly the general order abilities are not good for ranged units (my non Stormcast units).

oh well.  I will hold judgement till I read the full book. But not a good way to attract new ppl.

There has never been a rule that you can't use rules based on the color of your miniatures.  Other players might find you to be a beardy opportunist, but that's about it.

Agreed .  Which its not, its  more of I'm not repainting all of them.

It's not going to be tied to the paint schemes, they'll have the 'main' colour scheme of each chamber but there's nothing stopping you choosing a specific chamber and do your own paint scheme for it.

Unless I've already painted a lot of stormcast.  This bothers me because the army has been out for so long. Had they released this when they released the stormcast, then it would have been no big deal.

For me (and I'm no TO mind you) if you were to say "THIS chamber of the Hammers of Sigmar stormhost like PINK ARMOUR in fact they are nicknamed the pink hammers" just because there's some cool hammers of sigmar rules, I'd say well done sir, well done and clap.

    Love it!  :)

Why cant more units just be battleline period? It would give all the armies much more flexibility. I think only Dark Elf units have battleline from the old elf units (in the new books.)

I realise legacy units do have battleline but they are out of print.

Also how can spireguard be 200 when they arent much better than Freeguild Guard with milita weapons?

Agreed  more generic battle line would be great
