  1. Hey guys and gals, we just added your favorite steampunk midgets to AoS Reminders!

    Give it a whirl!

If you haven't used AoS Reminders yet, it's basically a cheat-sheet for different phases of the game. It originally started when I kept forgetting to do things with my Seraphon army in the hero phase - since then we've added a bunch of armies. Over 5,000 people use it every month - give it a whirl!

  2. Hey guys, we just added Tzeentch to the AoS Reminders App.

If you haven't heard of/used AOS Reminders yet, give it a whirl - enter your army, traits, artifacts, etc, and it'll spit out a nicely printable list that you can take with you to tournaments. Very helpful for army with lots of stuff happening in each phase - and after adding your whole rulebook into the tool, let me say, WOW you guys have a lot of rules!

Please go through and check out the rules and make sure we have them right.  Leave any issues here on TGA, or on Github here: https://github.com/daviseford/aos-reminders/issues

    • Thanks 3
  3. Hey guys, we just added Dispossessed to the AoS Reminders App.

Very helpful for army with lots of stuff happening in each phase - like our favorite grumpy dwarves :)

PS I don't know if he posts here, but shout out to PixelTom on Github - he is totally responsible for adding this army! Let's all thank him for his hard work!

Is this just a web based platform or is there a downloadable application for phones? Just curious.

Web-based. If there is sufficient demand I may expand it to a mobile app eventually.

Just a suggestion, you might want to consider adding the Skaven's forgeworld models in as well. Their warscrolls, as well as warscrolls for units used for other armies are listed on the forgeworld website.

Hey, thank you very much for mentioning this! I didn't know FW made Skaven models :D

They have been added to the tool. Great feedback, thanks again!

No need to apologise buddy! Thanks for your hard work!

I realised my original comment was a bit blunt as well so sorry about that haha, really appreciate what you're doing and will certainly put it to use in future!

It's all good, I took no offense to your comment. Someone telling me how to improve the tool is basically my dream come true :) Glad you like it.

  6. Hey guys, I just added Skaven to the AoS Reminders App. It has all clans ready to use! Skaven has been the most requested army for this tool, by far - and I can understand why after adding SO many rules to the code :)

I need a favor from you guys - please go through and check out the rules and make sure I have them right.  I did my best to keep up with the battletome, but please, check it out. Leave any issues here on TGA, or on Github here: https://github.com/daviseford/aos-reminders/issues

    Sorry, not signing in...

    app looks cool, but:

    missing special court artifacts

    fe gurish mawshard from gristlegore...

havn‘t checked the others cause I‘m lazy

    Hey Honk,

Appreciate the feedback! The Gurish Mawshard is available if you select the Gristlegore (Grand Court) trait. Perhaps I should also file it under the "Artifacts" dropdown!

  10. Hey guys, I just added Flesh Eater Courts to the AoS Reminders App

I need a favor from you guys - please go through and check out the rules and make sure I have them right. There are a LOT of rules for FEC, and I've never played them. I did my best to keep up with the battletome and errata, but please, check it out. Leave any issues here: https://github.com/daviseford/aos-reminders/issues

  11. I developed a nifty online tool last week that might help you guys with your battles in the future. As a Seraphon player, I was always stressed that I was forgetting to do things in the right phase.

So, I developed AoS Reminders. It has a bunch of armies, but most importantly, I just added Beastclaw Raiders!!!!

Check it out here -> https://daviseford.com/aos-reminders/

Basically, you add your units, battalions, command traits, realmscape features, and artifacts, and you will get an ordered list of what abilities to use during which phase. I know how many rules you guys have to remember ;)

I hope this cheat sheet helps you be more efficient (and win more battles!)

Please give it a whirl and let me know if you enjoy it! I would LOVE some feedback and critiques! If you notice that a rule is wrong, please either tell me here or post it as an issue on Github here

P.S. it is print-friendly! When you hit print, all of the fancy UI elements are stripped out and you get a list like so:

    @daviseford really nice!

My only comment would be to add option for allies if possible (as most IJ army will use Fungoid as well)

    great work

That's a good point, and I definitely plan to support adding allies down the line. It may not be this week, but I certainly have it on the roadmap!

That’s spooky timing! My opponent on Wednesday mentioned your tool, suggesting it looked good but only covered Seraphon. Great to see it also covers Sylvaneth now too!

Overall, it looks fantastically useful. My two immediate thoughts are:

    1) would it be possibly to make the names of the units involved more prominent, especially in the “during the game” section? I can see that you have the names after each ability (“Because you have...”) but it is probably easier to swiftly locate applicable abilities if the name of the unit is immediately obvious.

    2) Can you add command abilities for specific models in the appropriate phases?

Also, while you’re here, can I add a request for adding Ironjaws to the tool? My opponent is an avid Ironjaws player and was very positive about the tool and would definitely appreciate it! He also suggested that if you made the code available then he (and likely others) would happily add content for other factions.

1.) Yes, I've added a ticket for it (I'm out golfing today but may be able to get it done tonight)

2.) Yes, I originally didn't add command abilities for every model (not sure why, looking back), so I need to go back and flesh that out

3.) Ironjawz is on the roadmap

4.) The code is public! I've actually got another contributor already helping out, and I welcome any and all pull requests here: https://github.com/daviseford/aos-reminders

I appreciate the feedback, and tell your friend thank you for trying out the early version of the tool :D
