    You can think of it as a Phase 0, after which you play as usual, so you can choose one of your units to fight with.

    Doing so, you effectively attack with two units in a row

  2. Hi, to everybody!

     

     Need a help, how 2 of GKoTG can attack 1st at the start of your combat phase in Gristelgore?

     My friend tell me I can activate 2 of my ZD at the start of my combat phase, and make second attack for CP - Feeding frenzy.

    I thought that only 1 TG with Savage Strike can attack 1st.

    Alternate lists could be: Drop a GKoTG for another AAR and take a Flayer unit to 9 (currently what I'm struggling with deciding) or to maybe take out Blisterkin altogether and run Feast Day, which would still make the previous decision relevant, of course. Thoughts?

    I think 6 Flyers will be enough for still unit alive until your hero phase for ress them. Second TG with Feast day is better then anything else from FEC.

     My games with Flayers was not good, because our meta has most death players, and other army with 8-10 bravery. And I prefer Horors 6-3 with 20 ghouls in Abatoir battalion.

    it’s almost worse than the Gristelgheist, ALMOST. 

    Maybe use Gristelgore and Doppelgänger cloak on TG: 1st TG general an have Savage Strike that neutralize both locus ( from hero and epitome) and second TG use doppelgängers cloak, before start attack. I think you can kill from 1 TG 30 of bestigors (using 2d activation), and kill 1 of KoS from 2d TG.

    But Blessings of Khorne can be taken only in Khorne alligens army, not Chaos or Everchosen. That make priest useless.

    Storker look better, can give rerolls of wound and charge advantages for Archaon or Khorne lord, and become 1 more attack for unit after death.

    Lord of Khorne - Ethereal Amulet ( Unmodified save) - 160 pts

    Chaos Sorcerer Lord - 160 pts

    Skullreapers 2x5 - 360 pts

    Endless Spells Chronomantic Cogs 80 pts
     

     

    Total 1990 pts, +2 CP

    Tactics Archaon and Lord of Khorne tanking under Cogs (rerolls of saves) and rerolls of 1 saves from Sorcerer. Until a units of skullreaper coming. All units gets +1 attack after Archaon killing 1 model, +1 from Secrator, and +1 from Deathbringer. Archaon have rerolls of 1 to hit and to wound (from Sorcerer), all anothe rerolls 1 to wound (from lord of Khorne). When hero dying reapers become hero and get +1 to attack. Totally every unit gets +3 attack’s on 1 turn, and some +4 at middle game. And every unit can have +1 to hit on roll of 6+ before starting the fight.

    And with placement: keeping sorcerer out from secrator aura, and Archaon on 1 turn.

    Any ideas how improve this roster? I think it is better than blood mad warband battalion of Khorne, because give +1 attack to the rest of the battle.

    I wanna make the Everchosen army with Bloodmarked warband, and I have some questions:

    1. Which unit I can use as battle line? Azyr give me 3 units Bloodwariors, bloodreavers and Varanguard.  Can I use Bloodreavers?

    2. Any allegians abilities, command traits or artifacts can I use?

    3. How works BloodRage ability in this battalion - I adding +1 attack when kill a model every combat phases or just 1 time per battle.

    This battalion seem more profitable for Khorne mortals, then others in Khorne book, because you have +3  or +4 ataks per unit. And I can use my Archaon model 😍

  8. Hi, to everyone!

     

    I need help with tactics against 2 rosters in our meta.

     

    1. Demons Khorne with 4 BLOODTHIRSTERs: Skarbrand and other different 3, with TYRANTS OF BLOOD battalion, Reaper of Vengeance host, and 2 artifacts- Fighting 1st on 4+ and pile in on 6”.  This is incredible, they fight 1st with all 4 thirsters.  Maximum with TG you can kill only 1 and take an attack of 3 of them.  My only ideas is doppelgänger cloak.

    2. Blight king bomb (30 -40) of them with Epidemius (making reroll of 1 for to hit and to wound after death of 14 models - like ghouls), and Harbinger of Decay ( negating wound on 5+). For second roud you have attack of BK hitihg on 3+ with rerolls of 1 and adding D6 wouns for every 6, and wounding on 2+ with rerolls of 1, and 5+ negating wounds. And I forgot of 2 tries, which give charge after advance.

     

    If anybody have ides, pls answer!

     

    p.s. I’m using 2TG, 1 AAR, 50 ghouls + courtier and ghouls patroll battalion, chalice and cogs- reroll of saves for attacking TG, and FD of course.

    For summoning I have two choices:

    1. Varghulf, 20 ghouls, 3 Flayers

    2. 2x3 Flayers, Infernal courtier.

    Tactic is simple - use TG as 1st strike power under rerolls of wound (ZD), +d3 Attacks (AR), +1Attack (Dark Acolyte) and rerolls of saves from Cogs. Like support (killing rest of unit) for TG will use ZD. Flayers will take the objectives.

    Chalice of Ushoran for ghouls, or for flanking Flayers, or for healing ZD/TG for second round. But maybe better one more extra CP.

    What you think about drop choices? Is 4 enough, or need Royal Blood battalion for 2  drop choices?

    It's a good idea. Can I take it in 2000 pts of matchplay, with 400 pts of Ally?

     

    Or I can take BoC army with this batalion, and take ally Bloodsecrator, Wrathmongers, Priest and another?
