  1. Hey, what do you think of this army for 1000 points games (simple and doubles) ?

Obviously it's an army that plays, and tries to win matches by sitting on the objectives.

    Allegiance: Nurgle
    - Host of Chaos: Munificent Wanderers

    Leaders
    Great Unclean One (340)
    - General
    - Bile Blade & Doomsday Bell
    - Command Trait: One Last Gift
    - Lore of Virulence: Favoured Poxes

    Battleline
    30 x Plaguebearers (320)
    10 x Plaguebearers (120)

    Units
    3 x Plague Drones (200)

    Total: 980 / 1000
    Extra Command Points: 0
    Allies: 0 / 200
    Wounds: 71

PS: what units do you think should I buy for summoning ?

    Thanks a lot !

9 is the bare minimum and probably not quite enough. The Deadwatch battalion makes you run three units and if you are super Flayer heavy you probably need at least 3 units of them for battle line too. That puts you at 3 units if 3. Ok but not optimal. Most of the competitive Blisterkin builds run units of 6,3 and 3.

Cool thanks do 12 are enough :)

Anvilstrike has been working very well for me.  Theyre like LON but with +2 to saves and far fewer bodies.

The Guard are a very slow melee unit that dies to Evocators, Cavalry can be tied down with Aetherwings, and while 2 crawlers can be scary at first you can teleport/deep strike shoot them down. The only OBR lists I even remotely struggle against are ones that bring 3 or 4 crawlers, but those get bullied out of the melee meta by melee armies like Fyreslayers and Slaves to Darkness. Most OBR lists are just running guard, cavalry, and harvesters to try to compete with the melee meta.

Their heroes do almost nothing and almost aren't worth shooting. The only reason to shoot them is to get rid of their death save right before your evocators charge in for the killing blow, but it's more important to kill the Harvesters in that situation.

Remember that Guard only re-roll saves in the combat phase.

Hey ! Would you have, by any chance, a new army list to share ?

    Thanks !

Hey, thanks for your reply. I really like your second list ! Is this list also good for meeting engagement games?

Would you have artifacts/warlord traits to suggest for the bombardier ?

Well kharadron overlords have a new battletome coming next week so take all advice on what to buy from that range with a grain of salt until then. (those are the steampunky zeppelin dwarfs)

you got the fyreslayer with the Mohawks. They got a new book last year. Excellent in not dying, dealing damage but on the slow side and most models look quite alike.

They more Classical fantasy dwarfs are in the cities of sigmar book. Heavily armoured and carrying big hammers or big guns. The cities book introduces the idea of elf’s, humans and dwarves playing together. You still can do mono dwarfs. the playstyle will depend on the city you decide your dwarfs come from so that’s up to you.

of course there is a lot allying and grand alliance options and to mix a bit. I have a cities of sigmar list of dwarfs. They are from tempest eye which allows 1 in four units to be Kharadron overlords and I ally in fyreslayers. It’s an alliance of dwarves.

what models or playstyle draw your eyes?  That would help to advice more.

Hey, thanks a lot for your answer!

My playstyle is more on fantasy dwarfs (king, runelord, longbeards, irondrakes and canons) , do more CoS oriented I think :)

    thanks !
