Any way to run priests/Humans of Nagash? Like the human priesthood that worships Nagash? Do they ally with death armies?

Might want to put this in the death GA place, probs not best suited for here. YOU could also put it in narrative or painting and modelling.

This lack of news is discouraging

They did say 2 years, and with the pandemic that could be 3-4 years. I find the fact they shared news of it so far out encouraging, it should mean it a bigger thing. Remember, we are in a global pandemic, they might not have anything to show for it over the course of restarting factories and finishing SoB/LRL

The main "nerf" I was talking about was nagash and arkhan losing the ability to know the spells of every death wizard on the field (made sense to me lore wise that they would) and neferata not being able turn heroes she kills into vampires (once again made sense to me lore wise that she could). I don't remember the others right now.

Not to be insulting or anything but remember EVERYTHING is a matter of perspective. People can be hypocritical, and I am desperately trying to find the most thoughtful and polite way to phrase, but you are doing exactly what you said you didn't like people doing. i.e. complaining about GW, nerfs, whatever. Everybody does it, I certainly do it a lot, and more importantly it means you are invested in the game, which is a good thing, so just remember that something that may seem annoying, rude, or caustic, may not be intended as so, and might be influenced by your perspective. Not trying to call you out or anything, just keep perspective in mind

I'm not gonna lie, as a relatively young-ish member of this community, I have also found other various communities which are quite toxic, and if anything this hobby, even the competitive side, is the healthiest community i have ever seen, both in a broad snese of wargaming and Warhammer, as well as more narrow like TGA. I like participating in these communities because its so different than others I am used to, who will not help, hinder, and insult you at every opportunity, which leads me to the end of this long and winding road, remember to get some thick skin when you on the internet or just interacting with people. A lot of the time they don't mean what they said, I oftentimes sound caustic and long winded, but usually I am not trying to be. So just try to ignore some of their negative qualities and focus on the positives. Speaking from a younger standpoint, I never got into the hobby  a few years ago since most people in my local area and playing were years older than me, and I remember it was intimidating, and honestly a lot of the time I was very isolated from the rest, so if that is happening to you (I am not saying it is) than just try to stay in it, it can be intimidating, but after a while you can manage to catch up and participate in their jokes and clique. This ends my rant, in summary remember to have thick skin on and off the internet, as well as not to be intimidated by age or just being a different type of people (idk how best to say it).

  4. Speaking as a sculptor to another, the cheekbones are doing some weird things you might want to fix, ie. making them look like clowns which is unfortunate. It's quite a strange look and you might want to focus on filling out the cheeks a bit rather than going and raising their cheekbones too (no offense intended) ridiculous proportions. The masks definitely hide most of the jawline but try not to make their heads circles either.

Making "arguments" is for high school debating. This is the real world, none of that stuff actually matters. People don't have to be consistent, or even coherent, in order for you or I to respect their opinions. We're having a conversation here, not a debate.

As someone else has noted previously this argument is usually used as a last resort when someone is forced into a position they can no longer defend. Yes people do not have to be consistent to have an opinion, but in order for someone to respect is quite another thing. Same thing with "this is a conversation here, not a debate". The entire thread was supposed to be about saying if you want more female representation, and if so, or if not, why. Obviously with differing opinions the only thing logical is a debate, and so we have in fact been having a civil debate. I personally do not want to weigh in on either side, but I do not want to leave such a specious argument on the table.

Indeed saying everything is arbitrary can be true, and in this case with make believe lore back by models really anyone can make, you can definitely credibly support that argument. However when you use it you should be careful lest you sound like a nihilist, or worse, sound like a person without a real argument.

and finally remember some people aren't amazingly complimented when you accuse them of not engaging properly, so they might have taken a slight offense. On top of that , remember that they did say that the female CoS kitbashes were good, and so a better answer would have been pointing out the semantics after you addressed the fact that more female CoS miniatures would enhance the game for you, exactly as you recommended to them. Don't take too much offense, all in the good nature of a debate :)

Ironclad doesn’t know its there, thinks its floating but he’s infact wearing it like a carnival head dress

I am tempted to use my extra gunhauler and put it either a) on his shoulder like a pauldron, or b) in his hand, wrecked and ruined, with the skycannon facing outwards.

Ahhh, he holds his puny aelven beer. This item is of negligible quality that everyone knows is truly inferior to the great Dwarven Ales. Stick to your watered wine you pansy aelves! And we all know Aelves cant grow beards, so that's just an obvious aelven made lie.

Oh no meat or gold required, just provide us enough blasting powder and point out the enemy/meat/loot. And we have a special offer in October if you want a realy GARGANTUAN Merc, just provide the siege armour.

Seige armor is for pussies, get a powersuit, way better. In fact, I can provide one for you in size XXXXXXXXXXXL for the low low low price of eternal servitude and loyalty to the Barak of the Red Sun and 1 metric ounce of regular old steel. Best deal on the market I can readily assure you, and our laborers are treated just as humanely as anyone could ask for, definitely not like corporate slaves that toil endlessly towards a goal of paying their freedom that they can never reach. Not that you would ever be considered something so low as laborers, valued customer.

Ah, this must be why the Kharadrons have forsaken hammers almost entirely, in favour of saws and pikes...

May I remind you of the sacred weapon of our most venerated masters of endrineering!

My Maneaters worked for a Fyreslayer lodge during the season of war, really nice group. They know how to flame broil Slaven just the way I like it.

ah yes the Fyreslayers, bunch of fools for duardin, flip allegiances faster than teclis in the end times.

Where were the Duardin when Sigmar took the Hammer as his personal symbol? When he blazoned it across the pauldrons and shields of every one of his Eternals? When he so thoroughly incorporated it into his brand that the Orruks refer to him as the Hammer God?

Aim your hammer-related ire at Sigmar first, if you are not too cowardly. Or be honest that your grudge against the Aelves is mere racism, with a thin veneer of hammer-indignance to lend it an air of legitimacy. Hammers do not belong to the Duardin in this Age.

Grungni did it actually, the Kharadron count it as a purchased license, though we are sure many of our earthbound kin feel a bit aggrieved. Chaos of course is chaos and we cannot control them, but I do not see the humans using hammers, or the sylvaneth, and the lizardmen use maces not hammers, subtle but distinct difference. The sylvaneth are like aelves, but they know their place.

As for the points with chaos, we are already fighting you guys, you are literally the unholiest abominations we have come across, the hammers are just one grudge on a list a mile long. The aelves though, we weren't fighting with the aelves before.

  11. Very nice, I cannot wait to see some tales of the great success of our Duardin forces in preventing the degradation of our culture to the aelves. I would join in but I have no one to fight, what with the covid shutdowns still in effect.
