  1. Ooo thank you very much for the Harbingers pricing. 25 is very good I reckon.

I'm not buying any models atm with this backlog and even held off the Leviathan book.

But Harbingers is a must buy for me. Love new lore books and really excited for this campaign. Reminds me of the excitement I felt for the Realmgate Wars, and that was when AoS felt like it was only starting to get fleshed out with the various landscapes and what not.

Absolutely can't wait for the review vids to drop, I just wanna get a glimpse of what goodies are contained within.

  2. LETS GOOOOOOO

I'm really surprised to see a non conventional Ogre. Loving this model and I didn't even notice the gunner on top at first. 😂

So much potential with all the bits on that kit too!

The gunner and tower shield will make a fine addition to my collection of feudal Imperial minis.

Stupid Blood Bowl article, WarCom are playing with us!

    I'll check again after 3pm.

My heart ski ski skipped a beat when I was hitting refresh at 2 and there was that slight stutter like something was being loaded.....and then blood bowl.

Now I have to do some actual work for half an hour!

  4. Belter miniatures.

I wonder what weapon profiles the Marshal will use.  I.e. do we have to dual wield pistols or can we have pistol and hammer, shield and pistol etc.

Amazing amount of customisation there. Pistols just feel so right. I love that they look like a tiny blunderbuss as if they can smash a molten hole into a Chosen's battle plate. It reminds me of the pistol designs in the Warcraft movie and it was my favourite detail. They looked and FELT powerful and I'm so glad to see that replicated here too. If they're just your average human, they need something to gain the upper hand against 8ft tall steroid head magic titanium armour wearing monsters.

And nothing says 'parry this' like a big ol' boom stick with the barrel the size of Behemat's gargantuan cheeks.

  5. My dream AoS game would definitely be an Elden Ring/Souls style game. It literally feels perfect for the mechanics.

A Knight Questor roaming one of the Mortal Realms fighting the strongest monsters and heretics. You die? Get reforged and get right back to it. This mechanic is absolutely perfect for a Souls game. Suffer penalties the more you are reforged, claim back a portion of your soul from the enemy that defeated you.

Really excited for an AoS game though, especially something that'll give us a proper visual and live representation of what the Mortal Realms are like to live in and how each might differ.

"There’s also some exciting news coming from Frontier Developments, and plenty more besides!"

Maybe we're finally getting some info on that AoS RTS that got delayed last year? Or probably just 40K Chaos Gate stuff?

A fresh showcase out of nowhere?

I can see a new book series with an Ogor maneater called Trekgo and a Halfkin bard called Ixfel going around the Mortal Realms.

First book could be called Trolleater, followed by Skaveneater, Demoneater and Dragoneater.

I never knew I needed this in my life until now.

Please dont heretically burn me!! @Black_Templar_Lad I do enjoy the themes of the more differential Chapters such as Space Wolves and Black Templars!!

That's it! I'm calling the Crusade!

No only messing, I completely understand people who just don't like them. I do wish GW gave that same level of treatment for every faction. In the feedback last year I stated I wanted to see more Xenos releases because well, in the vast galaxy, most of the playable factions are Imperium sub factions. Like, I obviously love them but we need others!

My favourite release over the last year was the Kroot. I absolutely loved seeing new actual aliens and I have loved GW pushing the boat more towards the more varied inhabitants of 40k, even to different human regiments and Chaos Cultists, Beastmen, it's just refreshing to see.

If they announced there would be no further Space Marine releases for the next entire year. I'd obviously be guttered because I personally do wanna see what's in store for the Blood Angels, Dark Angels and Space Wolves, but I'd have to accept that there is a plethora of models to keep me happy in the mean time. A lot of Xenos fans don't even have plastic kits of their favourite units.

And that's the thing, the lore is so in-depth that it makes each different coloured space marine interesting. I just want that same level of treatment for everyone. I really really do. And I've loved seeing more of that this past year and hope it continues further.

My exact thoughts on Stormcast imo also. Love them, so much lore, other factions deserve the same.

    Out of reacts, love it.

Definitely want to make a Death Knight style Death mini with this. Feel like you'd only really need to change the head and do some work to the shoulderpad. Love that the shield and horse's head guard is like a coffin.

Could be a Ringwraith style Necromancer/Vampire Lord, but if you wanted him more armoured I guess you could cut the model at the waist and just pop a Blood Knight on top.

I know it's social media but...

Definitely reckon there'll be a launch box.

Also, if there is a launch box, would this be the first box set release to contain both plastic and resin miniatures?

Unless, the launch box will be the old kits re-released for now. Gah, so many questions.

It seems we were a little hasty on saying no boxset...

Awesome news. Thank you for finding that.

Shame the Q&A segments weren't live streamed. I wonder if it's because they didn't want to risk any 'unhinged' questions or profanity reaching the live camera.

They teased them with TOW articles, but no actual models.

Cheers mate, I was just wondering myself if they ever were confirmed/teased for ToW, or just for Total Warhammer.

Design and scheduling could have changed of course but we'll see ey.

What an amazing time for the hobby, just more good ****** to come, let's go!

  13. Oh the Old World made me happy, very happy!

Plastic is king, but resin is fine.

Oh I can't wait to see this launch box.

It was time for me to temper my expectations though. It seems we may not see Cathay or Kislev as originally thought? I mean, well I don't remember seeing Kislev on the map, unless I just missed their symbol. Going to expect just the classic factions.

However, I really think this is going to be a VERY popular release on launch. Who knows what support we'll get once we see the success of this. And I honestly do see this launch being very successful for GW.

The stream said the Maw-Grunta was going to be part of a destruction heavy 2nd book, with other units along with it.

The 1st book gets 4 new harbringer sculpts, once for each grand alliance.

They also mentioned the Maw-Grunta gets multiple options including a character (he did say characters, so could be 3 builds), the one previewed looks like a generic monster/chariot type.

    Thank you mate.

  15. Is the Maw-Grunta a model alongside the Harbinger book? Like that's Destruction's model for book 2.

And if so, is it strictly a Leader unit or is it like a Behemoth/big chariot monster unit. Because if so I wonder if these books will see new units outside of Leader options, which would be really nice. I love characters but entirety new units would be sweet too.

  16. I was shocked the preview was that short. Enjoyed the non-waffle and just rattling off the models, I think the preview events should be like this tbh. I just expected a full hour with the schedule, but that's not too bad.

    The models are phenomenal.

That Harbinger, just sits behind Archaon as one of my favourite sculpts that I never got to buy. I cannot WAIT to own that, and also see what Golden Demon artists to with it. Looks absolutely stunning.

    Love the narrative books.

    Those Cities cavalry. Gorgeous.

This. So much potential for cool ideas with non-chaos warbands.

Just trying to make some guesses! I mean 4 in Autumn!? Gonna be good.

I would love to see or my top guesses are:

    Order
    Fyreslayers
    Cities
    Kurnothi
    Aelvish band
    Dispossessed
    Lumineth

    Destruction:
    Bonesplitterz
    Ogor Maneaters
    (wild guess) Hobgrots
    Gitmob

    Death:
Ossiarch, maybe elites or Samurai Ronin esque, like the Questor Knights for Stormcast
    Soulblight, can't have enough vamps.
