I just got mine yesterday...

For me it is absolutely worthwhile.

Not only because of the fluff and lore, but also especially because of the new Battleplans and additional rules for roaming monsters and spells.

It's just a nice add-on.

Thats not how ist works.

Even if you can cast 2 spells that does not mean that you are allowed to choose more than one additional spell in addition to the signature spell from the Warscroll.

Pricewise this book ist really heavy. Seems that GW is testing another red line.

I just discovered that there are two Warscrolls for the Lord Ordinator.

The one ordinary and then there ist Lord Ordinator Vorrus Starstrike, which let you shoot twice with a warmachine, which ist pretty nice.

Ist this Warscroll still legit and up to Date?

I could  not find Vorrus within the Warscroll Builder either...

Mortek Guard ist really really small... For me too small, considering a lightly larger scale for AOS. I do hope they are on 32mm Bases though, so they compete to other infantery size wise.

of course not. It is probably more about a generell point. What I mean ist, where to Stop? Some Artifact are way better then others. It should be no problem to add and select points there, too, right?

 

 I prefer to keep it simple.

I also enjoyed AOS more, when we had just the 4 grand alliances... Maybe the Battletomes itself are the problem?

To add this: all you guys have valid Arguments of course.

Just to remind that in the old days, every single Item/Artifact had points you had to pay for, even simple weapon options. Although it might sound useful, it did not help at all to balance something.

 

Furthermore, a lot of people enjoy the easiness of listbuilding in AOS.

To add this:

Distances are also measured vertically, correct?

So if a flying model lands and stays on something with, lets say 4 Inch height, it can not attack with its 1 Inch reach melee weapons other models that stay on the Grund and Vice versa, correct?
