Fair enough! I'm a very, very new player, so im still learning the small details.
-
I was unaware that they were two different things, I just thought that the warscroll powers were indicating that "on top of the selection of 6 prayers, you may instead use one of the two blessings as well". I didn't realize they were two totally different pools to use.
-
Oh, i've been doing it wrong then! So the Priest gets more or less 2 prayer powers then? That makes him a lot more viable than I first thought.

For a Khorne aligned force, is the gorebeast chariot the better option mechanics wise? Fluff wise imo it is the superior option but im curious what the gameplay style brings to khorne compared to horses.

I don't think I can physically GET bullgors. My local store has Doombulls for a hero choice, but otherwise Bullgors are out of print on the store page, and not found anywhere around in physical boxes.

You mean the khorne battalion? Yes it might be the best thing in that book.
Would Beastigors be good in that comp? Or would Gors simply be the best choice?

I've been thinking about using the Khorne Beastmen warscroll. Is it worth it to run? Furthermore, should I get those Khorne Beastigors while they're on made to order? Or would it be better to just run Bulls or stock standard Gors instead?

Hey I'm trying to get started with a Blades of Khorne force and honestly I have no idea where to begin.
I bought the Get Started Box and was very disappointed. I wanted Blood Warriors with dual axes and Bloodreavers with two handed axes.
These are my initial thoughts on where I'd like to head:
Preferably 2-4 10-man units of Blood Warriors as a battleline. I'll probably end up taking 2 units of Bloodreavers and 2-3 units of Blood Warriors so the Bloodreavers can be sacrificed for Blood Tithe. If I could get away with no reavers, that'd be ideal.
I'd like some units of Skullreapers, probably 5-10, perhaps 8? Accompanying them, I'd like Slaughterpriests so I can give them +1 to Hit so they won't roll 1s and inflict mortal wounds on themselves and will inflict mortal wounds on enemies on a 5+.
A Bloodsecrator would be useful, too, so I'm thinking I'll end up with a Gore Pilgrim battalion with some Skullreapers, maybe both a Gore Pilgrim and Skulltake.
I already own a Bloodthirster and as far as I can tell it's the most lethal leader/general option, especially since there is no demon prince option for a cheap flying monster. I think I want the force lead by a Bloodthirster with the trait for generating an additional Blood Tithe when slaying heroes/monsters and the demon artefact that has him generate a blood tithe point if he deals 8+ wounds or mortal wounds in a turn.
Thoughts?
You absolutely can take a Daemon Prince. Bloodbound only requires the Khorne keyword, meaning you can take Furies, Daemon Princes, even most Slaves to Darkness models in your army. Check the Grand Alliance Chaos book for the needed datasheets, or the webstore pdfs.

Some math:
10 Blood Warriors (200 points) with Glaive on champ and Bloodsecrator buff do 6.87 wounds to 4+save unit
10 Bloodletters (120 points) with Bloodsecrator buff do 6.6 wounds (3,5 of them mortal) to 4+save unit
So that is 200 points vs 120 and same damage. If you add some more buffs to Bloodletters (+1hit from Slaughterpries or 20+models), which should be easy even in all Mortal army, then Bloodletters outperform all other units offensive wise many times.
I had some games won by just summoning 20Bloodletters at a good time and succeeding the charge. That unit does 20 wounds on average with Bloodsecrator buff to 4+ save unit.
This is all good math offensively, but the Warriors still have a few major ups compared to Letters. A 4+ save is still far better than a 5+, and they can take more punishment before losing their damage output due to 2 wounds a model.

Except the wording is very clear. "All run or charge". All.
If it were to just say "Run or charge" that'd be reasonable, but by adding 'All' to the text, it is clearly saying you can take all the options.

Hey there, new to this forum. Would Marauder Horsemen with Javelins work as a ranged light cavalry option for BoK? They provide something the actual book has nothing of, and seem to absolutely go nuts with the buffs that our heroes can apply.

How good are the Wargor standard bearer? Is the 15" MW totem aura good for 80 points? Or am i better off proxying my old metal standard wargors as new Wars? Im running them in brass despoilers.
