  1. We‘re getting a new warband reveal this weekend. A warband „unlike any we‘ve seen before“. Anyone care to speculate?
  2. We have to take into account that art previews of Zarbag‘s Gitz and the Eyes of the Nine seemingly came out prematurely and leaked online, leading to the teaser video.
  3. Now we‘ve got an idea of what the Amber Bones do. Sounds like the perfect bounty for any Destruction faction.
  4. GA Nagash would leave FEC homeless. Keywording could suffice in an updated LoN book that states something akin to „Any model with the keyword [Servant of Nagash] (or whatever else they choose) can be part of this army as a regular non-ally troop choice.“
  5. One of the warscrolls is called „[...]ch-Kavalos Zandtos“. Assuming „[...]ch“ stems from „Arch“, the mounted hero inevitably is the commander of the Kavalos Deathriders.
  6. We know a bit about how fighting him goes. Essentially he‘s a multi-stage bossfight with an upgrading instead of degrading profile (think Skarbrand). First the scroll guy fights, then the bird guy, then banner guy, samurai guy and finally the Mortarch himself when he‘s down to his last wounds apparently, according to Vince Venturella from Warhammer Weekly (he was the one who also confirmed Morghast as part of the faction).
  7. Just in case anyone missed him, ol‘ coffin-head was in the video. I must say I really like this sort of elite bone construct although I‘m curious how exactly Orpheon‘s story is intertwined with Nagash (and if his name‘s similarity to Orpheus means anything). Definitely a cool take that he‘s like a statue with a diorama.
  8. Wow, the Kurnothi are an unexpected surprise! They‘re a nice homage to Orion. I‘m also really digging that armored Shaman.
  9. Only the two heroes were new models, Looncurse released a few months after the Gloomspite Gitz dropped, so all the squigs were available long before already.
  10. By the way, if you check the mail on your phone, the head of the staff/glaive/spear thing is apparently the shoddy blade that was shown in the Rumor Engine a ways back.
  11. While nothing has been revealed yet, the announcement e-mail has an interesting shilouette in it.
  12. Armored Witch Aelves are something I didn‘t know I so desparately needed.
  13. It‘s the „Time of Plenty“ story from the 9th of March 2018.
  14. Not sure if anyone noticed or pointed it out, but Lake Lethis has been mentioned as far back as march of last year, during the Malign Portents stories.
  15. Closer to „drifting“ really. „Treiben“ in this context means it‘s moved by an outside force.
  16. That was unexpected. Turns out, there‘s some good and some less good news for Sylvaneth. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/05/08/a-late-bloom-for-the-sylvaneth/
  17. I‘ve decided that I‘ll get at least one of each of these, multiples being the Manglers, Dankhold Troggoths, and Hoppers. These are as close to a perfect release as I can think of. I‘m very curious what will distinguish a Dankhold Troggboss from a regualr Troggoth though. Mollog looks tiny in comparison, maybe he ran off to Shadespire because he was bullied for being so wimpy.
  18. I love that they somehow managed to give the ridden and untidden Manglers very distinct poses. And wow, that Troggboss is gigantic, rivaling or maybe surpassing Gargants!
  19. I can‘t wait for these models really. Budgeting my hobby money for January will be tough!
  20. We‘ve got a size estimate for the Loonshrine now. Ironically enough the smallest guys get the largest terrain piece, the thing is massive.
  21. I think you‘ve mixed up your names there, the speaker was the Loon King who is a grot. Anyways, we can see Spiders of various sizes in his entourage as well as Troggoths, so I‘d take this as a sign that the GGs will encompass all of these, perhaps including Gitmob but that‘s far less certain due to their mistly outdated line.
  22. I really hope the new Slaanesh miniatures that will probably come out soon-ish follow that distinct theme of body horror. So far it‘s not present in any other faction and could lead to some very creative and very gruesome miniatures.
  23. „What sort of horrible, spiky abomination could this belong to? Is it even flesh, or some sort of hybrid abomination of sinew and something…else?“ It certainly looks horrific. While 40k would make sense, note the visual similarity to the Korgorath, especially in the armor trim. This might be part of a new model for W&R.
