  1. You know who Holga reminds me of? Zodd the Immortal. Rest in Piece, Miura.
  2. Firmly on the side of wishlisting, I really hope Snotlings get a bigger part in this book than in GG. They‘re fun little additions there, but stuff like the pump wagons and entire tiny hordes are such a fun concept.
  3. Right then. Hook hand attached with bolts into the arm stump, the face-mask looking part with a skewered tongue from yesterday… I‘ve got a feeling the Kruelboyz have a self-hatred issue.
  4. That was a solid kit, but almost hilariously out of scale as the bosses ended up smaller than all their subordinates.
  5. Here‘s an interesting detail about the mask/face/whatever, the top left looks like a third eye might be there just out of view. Either that or the shape is very uneven and has a deep gash in that section.
  6. I really like what I‘m hearing here. Story-wise, I think the orruks that were a bit too runt-y and got cast out from their clans formed their own new societies and with the rise of Kragnos, finally felt it was time to come out of hiding.
  7. The metal part some people have interpreted to be a pauldron looks much more like a machete-style blade to me.
  8. Relax, at least wait for preorder announcements next Sunday. If they‘re still not announced then, you can start worrying.
  9. Interesting, this doesn‘t seem to be a named character, is it? I think that’s a first for the BR Monday reveals.
  10. Theory time! The current Alarielle is essentially her War form, born when she was needed to defend and fight back. I think this might be Alarielle‘s life aspect coming to the forefront.
  11. That doesn’t sound like Gorkamorka at all. Arguing in favor of Kragnos: The part about seeing a rider clearly alludes to Kragnos‘ centaur-like body structure. And an orruk would know Gorkamorka if they saw him, there‘s no reference to any sort of two-headedness.
  12. I‘ll share my theory on Kragnos here as well. Mostly, about his parentage and history. Could be completely off-base but it‘s fun to speculate. It‘s my belief that Kragnos is the child of Alarielle and Kurnoth, conceived in an attempt to create a union of nature‘s grandest attributes, growth and untamedness. When Kurnoth was slain during the Age of Chaos, Kragnos was stricken with all of his fathers beastly ferocity, leading to Alarielle having to seal him away and exterminate his ravening followers. That‘s why Kragnos mentions his people being gone and why he will indeed be a force of destruction. He used to be nominally a force of Order, but that changed after he, a new god half of nature and half of savagery, essentially was overcharged with the energies of Kurnoth which completely overrode his more „approachable“ aspects. This is also why Alarielle knows of a greater threat. For what else could be more destructive than her son, a god with the united powers of two major gods who also happened to absorb the energies of one of them?
  13. These are massive! The unique posing makes each one stand out a lot. Sadly this probably means no mini for Brodd as the pillar we saw in a rumour engine is attached to the Gatebreaker‘s flail.
  14. I do think this could be SoB-related. Too small for a torso though, I‘m thinking this is a shin guard. This week‘s Hammerhal Herald hints at mercenary giants by the way.
  15. This taken from the GW Halloween video called „Peachy and the Midnight Feast“. We see identical wall and gate elements along with an Eavy-Metal-level paintjob that‘s usually not afforded to custom-made terrain. Can you link the comment that states this? I find it highly doubtful considering GW made a video that showed it front and center, and it‘s nor like them to present custom-built terrain in a „for fun“ video.
  16. So that absolutely is a new plastic terrain set akin to the Chaos Dreadhold.
  17. Yeah, that Crusher is something else. Throwing scenery? Awesome. He looks like he stepped out of another game, but still fits very well into AoS, doesn‘t he? The skin color instantly reminded me of the old LotR trolls.
  18. Maybe it‘s a weapon of the Spire Tyrants? They‘re primarily Chaos Gladiators so being somewhat ornamented would make sense.
  19. The only similarity this mace has with the Tyrant‘s weapon is also being a spiked club.
  20. These SCs look great, they‘re race-centered and contain some of the newer stuff. Really happy with what‘s shown, short stories by Josh Reynolds in the COS book should give us some much needed base perspective.
  21. There‘s no guarantee or even precedent for an even quarterly split. First season had 3 for Chaos, 3 for Order and 1 each for Destruction and Death. Second season had 3 for Order, 1 for Death and 2 each for Chaos and Destruction. There‘s no pattern.
  22. I think they may be both IJ, that type of metal-reinforced trophy skull is abundant in the Brute kit. Or a mix of IJ and BS could be cool as well.
