    However you can only upgrade one chariot to be a priest/leader and I dont see any benefit in spamming chariots in Idolators over say Ravagers where you can summon more bodies.

    The battalion, which is Idolators only, makes one chariot Rokar Gresh who gets +2 attacks to his great blade which is damage D3 instead of flat 2 (arguable if thats a boon or a nerf) and does D3 mortals on 6 to hit (not in addition) as well as the +1 to hit command ability (however the buff is at start of combat and only lasts for the phase, not until the next hero/combat phase like most Slaves buffs). He gets no extra wounds and you have to take 2 x gorebeast chariots and they all have to be Chaos Undivided so dont see any value in that battalion at all, especially since there are no extra artifacts to take. 

    Would much rather fit all my chariots into Ruinbringers where the extra mortal wounds on the charge will do far more than a couple of extra great blade attacks. 

    Having the warshrine prayer go off on 2+ is definitely nice but it and the priest chariot lord not having the hero keyword means no mark of chaos aura and no command traits or artifacts (the one realm artifact available anyway). This might get FAQ'ed where they do get the hero keyword but wouldn't hold my breath.

    Also, dont see the value in cultists as battleline when we can already choose from warriors, knights, chariots, marauders and marauder horsemen who are all superior choices. 

    Overall its a very fluffy legion but certainly much weaker then all of the other legions and unfortunately a big disappointment for me. 

    The Chaos Chariot upgraded to Idolator Chaos Lord do get the HERO keyword and PRIEST it seems, it is the warshrine the one who dont get HERO, only LEADER... as far as I know

  2. 2 Questions about Archaon command ability "All-seeing Dominion"

    You can use it when your opponent  spends a command point, and if so roll a dice:

    if 1: command ability has no effect    >> does it means nothing happens ??, I mean opponent can use the command ability normally and nothing more, right ??

    if 2+ you can use "By My Will" for free  >> but does it mean at the end you didn´t spend a command point at all ?? I mean, can you do all this when you have 0 command points ??

  3. A question.

    Regarding  Endless Spell, Eightfold Doom Sigil, it says that at the end of the turn, the player whose turn is taking place select a STD unit, adding +1 attack until that player´s next hero phase.....

    So in case of double turn, this has no effect ?? as that player´s next hero phase would start right after the end of that turn.....

    It is one of the Alliegances that were included in the old Firestorm campaign book, it is the death alliegance in that book that included Soulblight, Deathmages, Deathrattle and Nighthaunt keywords.

  5. Can you use Pendulum with Spell Portal ? I mean I know that when you finish a movement you can place it in the other portal in 6', but I believed you were not able to use it when you cast it I mean before moving it according to the notes in the FAQ.

    It seems that all Blessings take place also "at the start of the hero phase, so would it be possible to do this ?

    I mean for example, blood sacrifice to get a Bloodtithe point and then spend it according to the table ? If both actions take place at the start of the hero phase, you choose which one to use first, right ?

Yes, i am really worried about "wholly within" aura of everything, to me is one of the worst things so far in general in AoS, I understand why it was done, but something like 8" wholly within in think it is just too much, mainly because your hero/unit needs to be just next to the unit to buff and both must then charge, because if not you can easily loose the range, you cannot just run after the unit to buff.

    Also it was changed in last FAQ that wholly within means all bases of all models fully within, i mean every part of all bases.

    Yes it would be nice to know, but i guess you can only select one, if not, they should defined more how it works, for example if you have 2, which artifact you must assign first ?

  9. One question.

    Artifact - Halo of Blood: The bearer fights at the start of the combat phase before the players pick any other unit to fight in that combat phase. 

    Does this mean that if it is my turn I fight first with the bearer and then I can choose another unit to fight as it is my turn before my opponent choose the first unit to fight ??

    And if it is my enemy turn it just mean the bearer fights and then my enemy choose the first unit to fight ?

    fully agree, I will wait for sure to check the whole battletome and warscrolls but preview is a bit disapointing imho

    Locus of Fury - all deamon units NEAR heros and also those the ARE heros are rerolling hit rolls of 1.....all of em, skull cannons, Bloodthirsters, hounds, skulltaker, everything....that is massive

    Reapers of Vengence - a faction with an unmodified 8+ auto unbind that bounces mortals,....not too shabby...

    Skull crushers are now mortal wound monsters now...even in 3's....thats a reliable 3 mortal wounds per charge, 6 man units are just icing on the cake

     

    I get that there were expectations and hopes for this release, but its not all doom and gloom...all is not yet revealed, but this teaser has me at least excited

    Reapers of Vengence - it says 8,  not 8+,.....

  12. Hi guys, another easy question just to confirm as a coma can change everything :).

    The Brazen Rune only affect wounds as result of a spell and mortal wounds as result of a spell, right ?

    I mean it is not, any wound, and mortal wounds as result of a spell. It would be overpowered if so :)
