Green skins is cool and all, but now its time for Skavenber.
The will be no such thing. Skaven don't exist. Everyone saying different is a heretic or a skaven...

This means we will not have Wrath and rapture on November?? Or it should appear on next white dwarf?
Only means mo W&R during the first two weeks of November, which was to be expected.

That sounds exactly like somehing GW would do. Death Guard springs to mind.
Depends on what exactly Wrath and Rapture is too, I guess. Spiel is supposed to be a board games event right? So if it’s a box like Blightwar then maybe it not get a showing.
Deth guard delay was at least on part to production issues. With wrath and rapture and black fortress the "long silence" is due to the lack of events. They were teased during the last big ones and since then other stuff, closer to release was in focus. W&R und BSF will show up on the next gw events for sure. Maybe even get further teased today. For BSF we know that it is up for pre-order at the end of November.
All in all the hype build could be handled better, but it is more than we got for almost a decade from GW.

And then, and I missed this initially, the fact that not only does he take the time to write a warning down as opposed to run away, but he chooses to extend the message with the curse "By Sigmars beard" the alphabetic length of which means he does not have the time to actually write down what the threat in question even is because he spent valuable seconds expressing his emotions in pen.
The answer to that is simple: a syllable based scripture; glyph based signer system where words or whole (complex) ideas are a single symbol. Makes writing pretty quick in some cases.

Nevertheless, we are running in circles - sadly. All we know is that we will see stuff for metals all SG's and the two main systems. What is clear is that we see one new gang, one or two warbands, titan weapons, black fortress and Khorne vs Slaanesh and the obligatory sisters teaser. The rest, slaanesh in full, darkoath, goblins, CSM new primaris is totally up in the air, although not unlikely.

I hate this narrative device. Ooh no here comes a monster, *better write that down so that people will know a monster came*
you clearly haven't seen that one awesome documentary on medieval times, that is highly praised for its accuracy in academics?! Damn what was it called....
... ah, Monty Python and the holy Grail

Honestly I don't think Slaanesh will be coming out for 6ish months if only because when they release new products in a boxed set it usually takes them about that long to repackage them. When we get the repacked Fiends and Heralds I'll bet we will get the new KoS and Slaanesh stuff.
while true that GW usually doesn't release models from a big box outside those boxes earlier than 6ish month after the box release, I don'T see it as a given indication, that Slaanesh is far out. GW could use the Codex/Battletome to bolster the sales of W&R through having the Blood hounds, the Fiend and two heralds (one for each deity) for some time as exclusive in the box. Maybe some alternative versions of the heralds might show up,similar to the SCE heroes this summer.

Thanks, Gaz. From the target audience of Spiel is sadly much more likely that we see Blackstone Fortress, but W&G should follow close by

And I would wish for some rumours, not some more wish listing. Also there are some nice ideas put out, we have another topic for that.

Only csm that is needed is abbaddon.... And the complete rest of the range. But black stone should see the beginning of it. Something tells me 2019 might turn out to be a good year for chaos.

Oh nice, looks like Slaanesh is going to get a good few models.
In fact, slaanesh does more than need a few good models :-P. He and Khorne both do. Gimme emperors children, Khorne berzerkers, flesh hounds and a whole lot of mortal and demons for her that thirsts.

I said it is a chair because of his simetry, and I still think it is a chair/throne and if u look more we can see on both sides that tear bottle thing that alarielle has on his mount and I cant remember but I think tree revenants dont have neither kurnoth. That said the idea of a tree-revenant female wizard is super cool and the idea of a kit with two handed and bow tree revenants would push me to complete my sylvaneth army cause I absolutely love tree revenants, but if they hit on rend -1 what coud do a doble handed weapon? more tanky? they can reroll a dice so they can reroll saves and we have kurnoth with the rol we are trying to fit tree revenants... but it would be nice, the same as tree revenants mounted on bugs or spiderfang tree revenants
OK, you win. It's a chair without the bottom part, only consisting of the beck rest that is growing out of the "sitting" persons back.

because she is clearly on a throne or a chair
As clear as a misty day :-P. Without free model shown there is no way to say it's a chair for sure. Much more likely is some sort of collar piece grown out of branches, probably part of her/his - damn those androgynous pointy ears - own body. Somehow I don't see a chair or throne in underworld, yet, although a walking talking fighting piece of furniture would be cool.
Calling it now, at one point a slightly above average aggressive chest will appear searching for a certain spellcaster with no respect of orthography, who has his profession stitched on his headgear.

And for an actual rumour...
The slaanesh herald in wrath and Rapture is a daemonette playing a harp.
source or educated guess?

Didn’t they do a similar poster with the skaven race.??
still waiting for that ratty release
but yeah green-things desperately need some attention.
Makes me happy to see that they might get some attention.
And you will wait for an eternity as there are no such things as skaven. Didn't you read the posters, telling us not to worry about the child tales about mansized ratman. ?
on Greenskins: would be more than funny if Orktober turnes out to be both for Aos and 40k, with Space orcs only getting the speedfreaks box for now ^^.

It's clearly a leader for Bretonians. They get a book, some endless spells and a peasent hero.
Or any other guess, those things rarely give clear clues nowadays.

Sounds like Malal, alternate name?
Kind of - Malal was shortly split in two deities, due to legal reasons (same as why he isn't in the fluff anymore), but those two where dropped, too.
All the stuff mentioned here sounds a lot like Malal, making it more a nod to fans than the return/creation of a (new) chaos god. Although a fifth that knocks that impostor of a horned rat of its falsely claimed chair in the pantheon would be nice. -

It was the cult of slannesh. Such a fun army to play too!
Ah, the good old days, when Morathi followed slaanesh just for the pleasure of spending time and undermining other dark elf leaders.
Seeing the appearance of fully flushed out chaos elves would be a dream come true. Murderous ex-khainit elves following Khorne as the true form of Khain. Mischievous elves in the service of Tzeentch, boosting the already strong connection with magic, the pointy ears have. Elves of slaanesh, originating from the souls left from Slaaneshs jail break and their ranks boosted by the elves which gave in to pure emotions and lust. And sick, bloated elves, that result from glutton and decay through decadence. All in one faction, not fractured like the godspecific armies. But still allowing marked troops in these, similar to beast men

Damn, GW. I think we all could agree that you just won the internet for an hour. This is a wounderful way of dealing with a "leak"/building hype. And man, Slaanesh is looking tempting.
3 hours ago, Hoseman said:In the new community article, are this goblin models new? they look like the shadespire warband
Definitely the existing Nightgoblins. The similarity to the Shadespire band only shows how good GW is sometimes at reproducing the old defining core elements of a design while pushing it further and building and expanding on it.

Ah, nice, the old "have something unreleased but completely useless as half the bits are missing" strategy. Tempting, but better to wait till the regular release.
on the other hand that might lead to someone losing his Contract/Job and maybe even money - and a preview for the rest of use. Nice

Very excited to see this! Hopefully it's released in Wrath and Rapture, and on its own.
Looks like a lot has been chopped out of the sprue, so this may include all of the legs and the third fiend's torso.

Doesn't this limit the usefulness of a rumor topic? I mean, half the rumors in here are due to "leaks" from wd, gw flyers or some guy on the internet who went dumpster diving behind warhammer world. And let's face it, more than half of those leaks are planted by gw while 100% are nowadays owned by them. So showing them here is integral part of a rumor discussion IMHO.
And what is the reason behind this policy? Asking out of genuine interest.
