    Dont think this holds up.

If they're not in the SGL book I would agree it's highly suspect, but they almost certainly will be. In which case they're not going to have frantically reprinted the book and added several expansions worth of lore in the space of a fortnight.

    Most likely explanation for me:

Prior to pandemic CC was intended for Halloween release, with SGL to come a few months later. CC would serve as promo for new faction and a sort of narrative palette cleanser before BR kicked off.

Ulfenkarn was intended as the new Sylvania, a pivotal location within the lore going forward. I expect much of SHL still to coalesce around this. Especially with Nagashs fall, there needs to be a new locus for Death's narrative.

CC fell foul of production issues and a hostile international shipping clinate but had to get CC released asap to recoup what it could.

SGL had to get released much closer to CC and BR than intended due to the delays of 2020.

This means that the lore around Ulfenkarn looks exclusively CC related as it's basically new to us,  but CC was only ever intended to introduce it as a place, not keep it in a vacuum as with Shadespire, for example.

It completely makes sense, for example, that Radukar the Beast is a lord in an *army* sized game, but in a skirmish simulation of 4 dudes hes just like a buff Cossack

I'm not sure why everyone's counter argument to "this looks like a scrapped expansion" is "how did it get in the book so last second." Nothing about a world where this was a Cursed City expansion would preclude the model from also being in the army book. You yourself admitted that Cursed City and SBGL were likely supposed to have a bigger gap between them. They could have been planning that the 1st expansion with Radukar the Beast would be out already by the time the SBGL battletome released.

I will concede as I've seen commented elsewhere that the proof will be in how you assemble his miniature. If he's not push fit, he was never meant to be an expansion. Same goes for any other conspiracy expansions (like the Ven Densts or Kritza and Annika). If any of them are push fit, that's a pretty big confirmation they were supposed to be for Cursed City. If not push fit, then they definitely weren't intended for Cursed City.

Just wondering but i have a feeling the Necromancer side of LoN may not be ported into Gravelords and they maybe part of something else in the future. just by glancing at all that has been revealed

There is the necromancer on the corpse cart. I'd be surprised if the foot necromancer isn't in the book too.

I don't know why people keep saying this.

The Beast model is flat-out just too big to even function in Cursed City's ruleset and tiles. It seems fairly clear to me that they always intended to have various miniatures in the SBG release that built off Cursed City's lore, but there's no evidence whatsoever that the Beast was meant to be an expansion for CC.

The Dreaded Ambull was this size. I don't see why it couldn't work. Expansion could have come with board tiles or modified rules as well to facilitate.

The Underworlds warband might be revealed on Thursday's "Boxed games" preview, instead of today.

Agreed I wouldn't expect Underworlds til Thursday. Same with Warcry (if there is anything). It seems like there must be Warcry stuff they've been delaying in the release schedule with all of those faction symbols on the Catacombs map.

This is a repost of leaks that were first posted around the time Cursed City dropped

Based on that White Dwarf page and Grave Guard apparently sticking around, they look to be the most accurate SBGL leaks we have

    rumors.PNG

Surprised no one is chattering much about the Radukar the Beast portion of this rumor. This was definitely something people speculated previously as a Cursed City expansion and there is that huge paw rumor engine.

If they release a Radukar the Beast model that isn't a Cursed City expansion, that would definitely be a bad sign that expansions were killed.

Ok, this guy leaked the SoB and the Lumineth too...

So if hold your ground is accurate, that means that it is going to be harder to hit people you charged than people you were already in combat with. That seems a tad goofy...

I'm curious as to exactly how "Bretonian Stormcast" would translate into models.

I'm disinclined to believe that it's Order of Azyr units, because then they would have simply called them Bretonians, no Stormcast added.

With the number of people that called Emelda Braskov a Stormcast when we saw her art even though she clearly isn't, it isn't hard for me to believe that someone could describe Order of Azyr as Bretonian Stormcast.

I am personally not upset at all.

However to calm down those people who are upset: Release a roadmap for the next 3 months. Let people know what they can expect (in detail, not just „new AoS“ release or some mystical new faction) in detail (new Idoneth while revealing all models)

My comment was relative to Cursed City. If the roadmap for that is "never" I don't have confidence that they are capable of writing a communication that is helpful. I'm not saying that it isn't possible to write something helpful, just that GW is unlikely to be capable of doing it based on how they typically communicate.

I would be surprised if there wasn't an official statement made/released early in the week.  The amount they spend/invest in marketing to have something like this dominating the headlines is a problem for them.  Especially without new releases for the next few weeks to reduce the focus.

The problem is, even if they say something, what are the odds the statement is quality enough to calm people down?

That would be absolutely insane when you compare them to Mortek...

    Same price, 50% less models.

    In-friggin-sane.

I mean the old skeleton warriors box was only 10 so be prepared for the possibility.

I do expect zombies to be a box of 20 like the Mortek though as their old box was 20 and there are clearly more than 10 unique sculpts based on what we saw in the WarComm images and the teaser video.

    ( squints eyes. ) It's you isn't t IT!!?? 😂 With those $60 push fit skellies... mmm hmm.😝😉

As much as we can hope that they don't, GW is prob also gonna charge $60 for 10 of the new skellies (although not push fit)!

I have no doubts there will be more CC being made, expansions, etc.

I really feel for some folks/kids somewhere that wanted one to ACTUALLY play with their friends/family and then you see it stripped down on Ebay.

I saw those push fit skellies for $60... $60!! 🤣🤣🤣

The amount of stock that is being scalped is frankly so small a % of the overall supply it isn't worth getting upset about. The reality is the game sold out because 10s of thousands of people bought a copy.
