I expect Death to get a brand new/expanded subfaction in th vein of Gloomspite Gitz, rather than an update to the main tome.
-
Considering these have some weird random changes and changes to very recent books, combined with the fact that some people are actively trolling the AoS community with fake news, I'm going to say... fake news.
-
Y'all need to stop making pointless wild guesses about the winged skull, it's been mentioned already that it's the FEC icon, it's on their boxes and the tome averages about two winged skulls per page 🙄

¿how about clockwise: Light Elves, Dark Elves, Ironjawz, Idoneth, Gloomspite, Deathrattle, DoK and Bonesplitters ?
Winged skull is FEC and flaming skull is Nighthaunt. Fact.

I maintain that Underworlds must secretly be subcontracted to FFG or something since it's so far beyond anything else from GW.

It's the Warcry icon, same as Kill Team has a Kill Team icon in the bottom left of literally every product.

"Even a god may regret the things he has done ..." is the tagline for Munchkin AoS, right?

Have you noticed that the last update ends with "And that’s all from GAMA!" ?
The Warcry update is probably the one that was planned for tonight. GW might have noticed the general disappointment from the previous updates and decided to give the fans something to be excited about.
No, people just don't understand time zones.

They confirmed on Facebook it won’t stay Chaos only.
This is so far beyond wishful thinking that it's basically a lie.
"The article says that we'll be exploring the dizzying diversity of Chaos on a scale never attempted before - that's all we know right now. As soon as we have more to announce here, we'll announce it!"
"We're not saying anything more than what we've already said" does not translate into "we're making your entire wishlist but it's a secret!"

I am disappointed that you can‘t use your existing models like in Kill Team. Really wanted to use my Khorne stuff and the Slaanesh half of Wrath of Rapture. This was the best feature of Kill Team for me, using units of factions without committing to big armies.
For many, having to buy extras of old models we already had to get the rules material was the most irritating part of Kill Team.

Can anyone spot the 5th and 6th faction? I see Gladiators, Darkoath, Beastmen, Harpies. For a moment I thought there was a Skaven, but now I think that's just a Darkoath with a skull hat.

Do you think, RAW, that Deadwatch unit can now benefit from Feeding Frenzy even if it had previously fought in the Hero phase?
Absolutely.

Just now, Metaphysicsofevil said:
Page 55 – Feeding Frenzy Change the first sentence of the rule to: ‘You can use this command ability in the combat phase after a friendly Flesh-eater Courts unit has fought for the first time in that phase and is wholly within 12" of a friendly Flesh-eater Courts Hero, or wholly within 18" of a friendly Flesh-eater Courts Hero that is a general.’
Does this change simply clarify/confirm that Deadwatch can use Feeding Frenzy even if they have fought in the Hero phase? I can't see any relevant other changes to the text.
No, it's because some people thought the previous wording meant each unit could only use Feeding Frenzy once per game. Don't ask me why.

Sad about the Medal not working on Feeding Frenzy but it was expected.
But what is with that random Chalice nerf tho.

I would expect a huge beast with a howdah and suitably terrible Adjectivenoun name like Goredrizzling Spikelephant. And it's a dual kit that also builds a Chaoscursed Goreshaman riding a Bloodclad Hatemammoth.

I think Dragons got a lot worse relative to other options, especially if your main goal is getting a discounted Varghulf. The Archregent does that job so much better, costing essentialy negative 10 points if you factor in the CP you save.

Okay so everyone talking about the rules and painting but no one is talking lore, my favourite scene from the new book is the slaanesh lord vs the ghoul king on the throne I LITERALLY *insert inappropriate expression of happiness* when I read that little excerpt omg our lore is awesome.
Yep that was a fantastic story, and it's a huge deal that even enemies can get caught up in the Delusion.

How many archeregent max? 1 or 2?
However many you can cram in without compromizing your good units (GKOTG, GKOZD, Horror/Flayer deathstars). Archregents are incredibly points efficient but they do warp your lists towards MSU and that is a suicide strategy for FEC.
I think any Varghulf you want in your list should be summoned off an Archregent and so should Ghouls if you have a Court with other battleline options. But one block of 12 Flayers is way better than 3 Archregents that drop 3x3 Flayers.

TK would absolutely be an Order faction.

The current Tzeentch book is ... not accurate. It doesn't contain the new summoning rules, and almost every warscroll has had a lot of errata. I think Kairic Acolytes might legitimately be the only unchanged warscroll (and that's only because they should have been and I think GW forgot). Maybe the blue scribes?
Several traits don't do what the book says anymore, same with spells.
I would instant-buy a new Tzeentch book that had identical art and layout and just included AoS 2.0 changes. It's a gorgeous book but like you said, just about every page has errata. It is perhaps ironic that Acolytes do not have errata, as their warscroll doesn't even match the box contents.
-
Medal of Madness needs errata for sure. The big question is... will it work on Feeding Frenzy?
So, what do we think of the new Contrast paints?

This is over Vallejo white primer.
I would be very interested if someone colour matched Vallejo primers to the new GW undercoats. This is the best I can come up with based on pictures, but Vallejo's color charts are all over the place and in some catalogs Ghost Grey looks lighter than Grey and in some darker, same with Israeli Sand vs Desert Tan.
