Zombie Conversions?

Has anyone converted zombies from other models?

I'm not keen enough on the old models to invest in them and i don't want to branch out so mantic is out of the question.

I have a fair few models from other factions that I'm not using that I'm considering turning into zombies. I'm just not sure how much effort it would require and if the results would look any good.

Has anyone else done anything similar to this? I'd really appreciate seeing some pictures if so.

I actually don't hate the old plastic zombie kit. It has a lot of character although admittedly it's looking pretty dated at this point. Some of the heads and torsos still look appropriately grisly though, so mixing these with some other human-sized kits can produce good results. In the past I've done this with Bretonnian men-at-arms (no pics sadly) and IMO they looked great. Flagellants would also be a good basis for zombie conversions.
