I dabbled in Warhammer, Necromunda and Bloodbowl in the mid-90s and then lost interest for almost 20 years until I found myself in The Cave on the tail-end of 8th. The Nameless One's enthusiasm, 'most sporting' trophies and dragon hats persuaded me to give it a go and I was all-in ready for AoS's arrival. AoS plays the way I always expected wargames to play. Fluid, simple rules with 'you can't do that' kept to a minimum. I have my models smashed off the board every other Monday at the Cheltenham Warchiefs. The day I win a game you'll know about it!
