Isabella's dark seduction - can models attack themselves?

Isabella's spell enabled her to take over a model and let it attack other friendly units and even it's own unit. 

Do single models then also attack themselves? Officially each model is a unit but the rule sounds to me as if it only refers to units with 2 or more members. Other abilities like for the wrathmongers explicitly state when a model can attack itself

Yes - the target of this spell can attack itself. Contrast this with Treason of Tzeentch (the new one), which expressly states that it doesn't work on single models.
