Yeah I get the break out, so your keeping the splattas  behind the unit for the +1 attacks? For 140 I feel like I have to keep them uprfront so they can use the screening ability. But then they just get shot off by T1/T2 with a 6+ save 1 wound. Assume it would be cheaper to just use 2x snufflers for the same buff purpose.

Snufflers can’t move and the splattas can.  That was my justification.  And 9/10 they are in the back of the unit hiding.

I really love this list! Well rounded.

Did you feel like you benefitted from the extra CP or had enough from Skragrott and Fungoid?

I really want to justify bringing in Sneaky Snufflers and Sporesplattas because I love their abilities, but I’m worried about how they hold up. Only example I have seen with Sporespallats is MWG  easily out in T1. How did the 2 do with longevity for you?

I felt like I had plenty of CP.   there’s not a lot of punch in the list but I still like it.

The sporeolatta help the grots and snuggles can put their buff on the bounders.

  5. I won against a mixed destruction list of Ogres and Beastclaw and then a game against a Beast of chaos list.  Realm spells helped me against the Beastclaw player.  The Beast of Chaos came down to me just being more experienced on the mission.

A unit of 30 girls killed 70 goblins when they had their buffs up. ( Mindrazor, reroll hits of 1 and all to wound.) I've yet to win against DoK since they came out last spring regardless of the army I'm playing. Again, this DoK player is really good and I play against him all the time. Just can't crack the code to beat them.

  6. Well I went 2-3 with my goblins list at LVO.

My 3 losses in order was a fun grudge match against the #1 ITC player in the world and eventual LVO winner Bill Souza. We never had a chance to play prior and wanted to get a nice game in round one.
Second was a mirror match of gitz except he brought a battalion and made a charge to lock me in my deployment zone and just out scored me early. We barely got to turn 4 with nearly 300 models on the field for the both of us combined.  And finally I lost a match against one of my teammates who ended up being the #1 Daughters of Khaine in the ITC.

Overall LVO was a blast. I have a lot of things to practice w/ moving forward and I look forward to playing Gitz for the rest of the year. I need to play a bit cleaner with keeping my auras in mind. I think a battalion will be worth it moving forward.

    Hey guys.

I´m sorry if this has been answered before, but i couldn´t find it with a search and the 87 pages of this thread is a little much to go through.

But concerning the fanatics and their whirling death ability: If I release them in my own charge phase and their charge goes through, they have to attack first. But after they have attacked, do I also get to pick another unit to attack with, or does their attack count as my first pick for that combat phase?

They get to fight first. After all fanatics have gone, then you go to normal picking and alternating of units to fight.

wasn't the LVO cut off date before the Gloomspite release, so the battletome can't be use at the event or at least that what I heard from the Frontline gaming show but I could be mistaken?

That was for 40k. The AOS TO is letting the Gitz book in.

What would people do to finish off this list?

    Upgrade the Boar Boys?

Split the second block of Morr Boys into MSU?

    Take some damage Endless Spells?

Take some board control Endless Spells?

    Take the Triumph?

(I'm usually pretty keen on a Triumph, but this army already has loads of rerolls and CPs).

    Leaders
    Wurrgog Prophet (140)
    Maniak Weirdnob (120)
    Wardokk (100)
    Wardokk (100)
    Wardokk (100)
    Orruk Warboss (140)
    - Great Waaagh Banner
    - Allies

    Battleline
    30 x Savage Orruk Morboys (300)
    30 x Savage Orruk Morboys (300)
    5 x Savage Boarboyz (100)

    Units
    4 x Savage Big Stabbas (200)

    Battalions
    Drakkfoot Warclan (140)
    Kop Rukk (200)

    Total: 1940 / 2000
    Extra Command Points: 3
    Allies: 140 / 400
    Wounds: 184

Think about droppimg the pigs and maniak and upgrading the warboss to a wyvern.  And then adding a 10 Man Unit of boys to sit in the back.

I went 3-2 about a month ago down here in NZ with a Kopp list.

    3x Dokks

    Wurrgog

    Big Boss

    Allied Warboss with Waaagh Banner

    2x30 morboys

    2x5 maniak boarboys

    Spell Portal

    Soulsnare Shackles

    Kopp + Drakkfoot

My two losses were to the nation's #1 player (4xVLOZD list) and the #12 player in the country (Deepkin list filled with eels and both aspects).

There is definite potential in the Kopp/Drakkfoot combo.

I tried running 10 maniak pigs.. I was always too aggressive w/ them so big stabbas are always a nice deterrent.   The warboss with the banner is always a nice touch for any orruk army but I feel like he lives best in a gorefist from IJ or a teefrukk.     The prophet's command ability has saved me in so many games.  I feel after 2.0 led us away from kunnin rukk.  Kop is probably my favorite option in that book. Congrats on the success.

  12. I went 3W-2L at Socal this past weekend. As always, Scott reed put on amazing event.

I brought a kop rukk (w/ 3 wardokks 30 man 20 man and 10 man) , rogue idol, prophet, and a 6 base unit of big stabbas.

Lost a close game 1 to a deathmarch army. Apparently the player won Broadside bash earlier this summer. My other loss was to a sylvaneth. I was just out played and couldn't keep up with their tree walking and movement.

Overall a good event and I'm going to continue to work on my kop rukk list.
