Rage quit? More like "got miffed and took a break"!
I admit I was less than impressed with the initial Age of Sigmar release. Partly that was because neither the Stormcast or Bloodbound were at all interesting to me. I had problems with the loss of the Old World (which I had been gaming in for the last 20+ years ) and the new rules. Plus, the old Warhammer Fantasy group at my FLGS kind of fell apart.
As time passed I still kept following developments in the AoS universe and things started to look better to me. The General's Handbook made me think the game might be something I would want to play after all. The new Start Collecting box sets were great deals and looks like a fun way to jump back in. Once the seemingly endless stream of Stormcast and Bloodbound releases ended and we started to see other things, I started seriously thinking about starting a new army. The Flesh Eaters, Sylvaneth and Flesh-Eater Court in particular looked like fun armies to collect, paint and play.
So, now I think I'm finally ready to take that deep breath and commit to playing again. Now, which army to start with...
