For this tournament there wont be a top table. The swiss system will be used to pair players but pairings will be playing on a random table. This way all players get a chance of playing on a different table each round and the challenges that the different tables may bring.

Battle Bunker presents Genesis.1 day,3 game,Matched Play - North-East -
So I ran my 1st tournament at the weekend and as a tester it went really well. Everyone had a good time, tables looked awesome, everyone had loads of room for their stuff and I learned an awful lot.
Steve Sanderson won the event with a Disciples of Tzeentch army,Lucy Child won the best army with her Stormcasts and Greame Donaldson won favourite opponent.
Next one is already planned for April 1st.

I know this tournament was/is short notice for a lot of people but there are still spots for the 1st AoS tournament to be held at Battle Bunker. It will be a casual affair as I settle into running things and as such for this tournament I have relaxed the painting and round base rule. So if your stuck for something to do on Saturday and fancy a day of AoS on awesome tables with prizes on offer then sign up below or over on the facebook page.
We've got Stormcast,Khorne,Slaanesh,Grots and a Death army already coming so why not join in

I'd like to thank all the players who took part in Champion of the Realms yesterday. It was an awesome day with some epic battles with the winner decided on the last turn of the last game!
Overall Winner: Steve Sanderson - Tzeentch
Realm Champion: James Chalmers - Celestant Prime/Stormcast
Best Army on Display: Paul Whitehead - Beastclaw Raiders
Favourite Game: Richard Elsdon - Durradin
Best in faction Death: Sam Goodwin - Nagash/Death
Best in Faction Order: Lee Hamilton - Fyreslayers
Best in Faction Chaos: Steve Sanderson - Tzeentch
Best in Faction Destruction: Ian Spink - Bonesplittas
(as I pointed out yesterday during the awards, the score for a minor victory should have been 13 and not 12 which you can see in the results,Paul Whitehead should have finished on 56points but he was still 1 point behind Ian Spink)
