They almost avoid referring to fellwater troggs in the article. I wonder if that means anything like perhaps they're going to krules or maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Fellwaters were repacked for the Old World. At the time I thought it might be the swan song for them for AoS.

However Fellwaters weren't listed as getting legend'ed with the other models so hopefully that means either nothing changes or they get new sculpts for AoS

It may honestly be a Warcry release, they tend to like having a related warband come out near a big army release like Wildcorp hunters for cities or royal beastflayer for FEC.

and gutter runner would work as a warcry warband given its specialist unit nature.

Im hoping so. If they next Warcry season is set in the Cities it would be great to see Gutter Runners vs. Flagellants/Militia

S2D faction terrain confirmed, so we can expect other factions to get theirs:

    Here's hoping!

Kharadron Overlords need a Skyport! Do you think the fabled Cogfort might be the CoS terrain?

Also hoping for Endless Spells/Invocations for factions that don't have them.

  4. 5555 and the future is looking great for AoS.

I can't wait to see more! I have two wolves inside me. One that wants everything spoiled for the next 6 months now and one that finds it refreshing to receive news as intended from GWs for once.

40k is the leakfiesta, Aos rarely has leaks.

AoS has a smaller community and thus the leaks are rarer and smaller :C Our current set of leakers seem to either have dropped all the info they currently had or are making sure not to get found out by big bro James Workshop.

Well, there was at the end of the day a Tau focus. Guess we're not geting a lot of AoS articles for the rest of the week?

I would expect no AoS articles until the reveal next week. I am hoping to be surprised though

Ufff I am not so sure about a second wave so early for both Seraphon and Cities. And especially not this year. We won't get anything big outside of SCE and Skavens this year. Maybe for the 25, but it feels still too early.

Okay here me out. Maybe they're showing off Seraphon now, not because they're coming early but because they'll have more rumor engines in the future towards their wave 2 release.

We could see Seraphon, realistically anytime from this winter to a year out. So I personally will say(hope) it's a January-Feb 2025 launch with 3-4 kits.

I did think it was weird that the recent seraphon wave didn't have a behemoth or big centrepiece kit, do we think Kroak was supposed to come in the later wave or are they holding something back?

I mean either is possible but ideally they're holding a big dino back. However I have poked the rumor masters that be and have never gotten a hint if we should expect more.

It is a blessing and a curse to get your battletome early in the edition, usually means we don't get that big of a release, look at Ad-Mech and Necrons for 10th and then we quickly get out paced in power.

Realistically about 2/3 of the army (not taking Sons of Behemat into account) are probably getting only foot heroes this edition

If we get a second rumor engine of Seraphon then the hope is they'll get multiple kits. I will be happy with a new Oldblood/1 new kit but would love to see Temple Guard, Oldblood on Foot, Skinks and a new monster.

Looks to spiky to be Seraphon, probably something Chaos or destruction

I am almost 100% this is Seraphon. The spike caps are metallic and the the scaling to the flanks all lines up.

Either a new Oldblood or hopefully temple guard.

Not forgotten btw they got a name drop in DB5

    Battletome: Wrath Fleet Privateers when?

Can we just have a cycle of each GA getting a pirate faction?

  12. my long standing theory is that eventually each of the death factions would get 2 Mortarchs. However, now that Ushoran is out.. I don't think FEC needs another Mortarch. So maybe we'll see 3 new factions for Death eventually?

    Silent-People
    Frankensteinian Monsters
    Mortals of Nagash

for destruction with no real basis in lore
Elementals - Like the incarnates in design but a faction.
Deep Lords (?) - the aquatic threat Idoneth are dealing with.
    Goblin Sky Pirates

  13. For the faction focus articles do we think it will be...

    Mon - Friday
    Order>Chaos>Death>Destruction>Order

until we run out of Death and Destruction factions and have to add more Chaos/Order factions?... I really hope Death and Destruction get some more factions.

Btw, do you expect a rules article for today as well? Or do we consider ourselves covered with the Preview announcement?

I feel like we're covered for the day. It would be nice for them to tease the faction articles but I feel like those won't begin until after the starter reveal.

So hypothetically speaking, assuming that it isn't summoned like an Endless Spell, there's no reason not to take Krondspine when you're playing KO, right? Unless they're just going to make Spells in a Bottle a universal army feature.

I'm really hoping Krondspine has been significantly changed from how it was in 3rd. I really wish they showed off its warscroll as well considering how there's a lot of folks that are pretty apprehensive about it.

  16. Next week on Warhammer Community, we’ll be providing you with a glut of Warhammer Age of Sigmar coverage – a new miniature, details of how endless spells, invocations, and faction terrain work, details on the revamped Path to Glory mode, plus coverage of the fast and tactical new game mode, Spearhead.

Seems like a lot of new info for 4th coming. Did we know about Path to Glory getting talked about as well?

Also, I wouldn't mind the rumoured CoS vs Skaven for the launch of third season.

It would be great if it's CoS vs. Skaven fighting over the ruins of a city like the one in the 4th ed trailer (Emberhall?). I think it fits the theme of the 4th launch and will be a great way to introduce new gutter runners and maybe the building terrain we've seen in a lot of the battletome photos.
