The only time that I remember of them admitting logistic problems was with the sylvaneth book…
Sylvaneth, which delayed the whole release by several month, and latest Horus Heresy Black Book where it was a "we have no clue where exactly the shipment is" kind of answer.

I would laugh if it's another Sylvaneth/HH Blackbook all over again in regards of the Battletomes...

Hello,
I want to get into AOS again and chose Nurgle for it, so after reading some stuff up I wanted to pick your brains to see if the list I have in mind is an okay list worth building up to.
Allegiance: Maggotkin of Nurgle
- Grand Strategy: Hold the Line
- Triumphs: Inspired
Leaders
Lord of Afflictions (210)*
- General
- Command Trait: Overpowering Stench
- Artefact: The Splithorn Helm
Bloab Rotspawned (300)*
Battleline
5 x Putrid Blightkings (250)*
5 x Putrid Blightkings (250)*
4 x Pusgoyle Blightlords (440)*
- Reinforced x 1
10 x Plaguebearers (150)*
10 x Plaguebearers (150)*
Units
3 x Nurglings (105)
3 x Nurglings (105)
Core Battalions
*Battle Regiment
Total: 1960 / 2000
Reinforced Units: 1 / 4
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 157
Drops: 3
The idea is to have the Plaguebears hold backfield objectives, while the Nurglings use Hidden infestation to generate summoning points and annoy the opponent. The Blightkings und Blighlords are there for marching down the field and spread the gift of Nurgle, while bashing some skulls in.
I am open for any kind of advice and ideas.

How all battleforce cost 160€???? Id vampires are 220€ in minis and slanesh almost 300€. Then vampires have 25% disccount only and slanesh almost 50%??
This isnt fair lol
It's not as bad as you say... the Slaanesh box is 247.5€ GW list price in value while the Soul Blight box is 230€ in value. Overall it doesnt matter how much you save if you dont plan on buying it anyway...

First of all thanks for the input, the thing is that for the time being the two bodies that were supposed to be Leadbelchers from the Feast box are converted into the Butcher and Slaughtermaster (thanks to having bitz from all the available Ogre kits). That limited my choice in regards of the batallion.
The whole thing is just an thought experiment at the moment (because I got my hands on the Feast box during Black Friday) "How can I get a side project to 2000p for cheap". If I expand the list and collection there would be Leadbelchers on the "to buy" list for sure because they enable further batallions.
Regarding your questions in regards of the mount trait and extra spells:
Well I misread Metalcrunsher (one should always read the full text....) first so I discarded that choice, but on a second thought it sounds tempting, Clatterhorn... well I dislike the drop off, that's why it wasnt my choice.
In regards of the extra spells I didnt spend much thoughts yet I have to admit. Like I said thought experiment (at least for the next week... before the greed for grey plastic awakens...).

Hm I need some feedback for a cheap start for the Mawtribes. It's based on getting the half of the Feast of Bones box, a SC Beastclaw Raiders, a box of Gluttons, a box of Ironguts and conversions for the Butcher and the Slaughtermaster. It most likely isnt the best or most competitive but it's only meant as a start.
Allegiance: Ogor Mawtribes
- Mawtribe: Bloodgullet
Mortal Realm: Shyish
Frostlord on Stonehorn (400)
- General
- Trait: Nice Drop of the Red Stuff!
- Artefact: Ethereal Amulet
- Mount Trait: Old Granitetooth
Butcher (140)
- Cleaver
- Lore of Gutmagic: Blood Feast
Slaughtermaster (140)
- Lore of Gutmagic: Molten Entrails
Tyrant (160)
- Artefact: Splatter-cleaver
2 x Mournfang Pack (140)
- Culling Clubs or Prey Hackers with Iron Fists
2 x Mournfang Pack (140)
- Culling Clubs or Prey Hackers with Iron Fists
12 x Ogor Gluttons (400)
- Pairs of Clubs or Blades
4 x Ironguts (220)
1 x Ironblaster (120)
Tyrant's Gutguard (120)
Total: 1980 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 132

Just out of curiosity.
What would be the first three to four still available products (meaning you can still buy them from GW), except the battletome, you would recommend to buy to start a Khorne army at the moment.

Hey ya Gitz,
I am thinking about starting a new AoS army and want some input from experienced Gloomspite players. The whole idea is to take a slow approach and not buy a large amount of models and have them sitting around and be soon after forgotten about. So I just planed the first 500 points and an expansion to 1000 points.
Without further ado here is the 500p starting list.
Allegiance: Gloomspite Gitz
Leaders
Skragrott, The Loonking (220)
- General
Battleline
20 x Stabbas (130)
- Pokin Spears & Moon Shields
6 x Squig Herd (70)
6 x Squig Herd (70)
Total: 490 / 500
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 50And with an extension to 1000 points I thought about a list going into this direction, but I am unsure what to spend the remaining points on.
Allegiance: Gloomspite Gitz
Leaders
Skragrott, The Loonking (220)
- General
Fungoid Cave-Shaman (90)
Battleline
40 x Stabbas (260)
- Pokin Spears & Moon Shields
6 x Squig Herd (70)
6 x Squig Herd (70)
Units
10 x Boingrot Bounderz (200)
Total: 910 / 1000
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 94
I am open for critique on both lists, if anyone has some ideas I am glad to hear them.

Sure it's really easy:
- Basecoat with Vallejo Model Color Turquoise (966)
- wash with Army Painter Wash Blue Tone
- drybrush with P3 Arcane Blue
- lighter drybrush with Citadel Longbeard Grey
Hope that helps.

Very nice tutorial, but somehow the combination of the green and pink on the leafs makes it look like holiday lights you see on christmas

I have to say... the new Beastclaw SC box is value... buy two of them for around 80 pounds, add another Stornhorn/Thundertusk for another 30 pounds and you are at a 2000 point army with some bodies on the table for just 110 pounds. Good game GW for this one.

It is absolutely real. It is from the new starter set. It is almost certainly coming out in July.
Just out of curiosity... what new starter set are you speaking of excactly? The new Thunder and Blood set or a whole new one?

Doesnt hinder an Ironjaw to slap it on his armor, so I am with Chris Tomlin on this one!

Air Conditioning for flats/houses isnt that common in Europe compared to the US. And if you have almost no wind going to ease the heat it is horror.... Living in Berlin (Germany) I despair thinking about heat periods here (0 wind for several weeks in summer here).... Southern Germany had 38 degrees Celcius today... I pity those guys down there that have the same hobby as us.

Let's hope they adjust the price with the repack... 40€ for 160 points is a joke... and a bad one at this.

Hm could be yeah, just looked at the "snout" that is a MK4like. Anyway... time will tell.
-
Question is.... if it's a traitor Primarch... why is there a dead marine in a MK4 armor.... MK4 arent used by the Imperium anymore (at least there shouldnt be many used).
-
Chris... well... shouldnt be the shaman on top of the rock (and in safety) and Krunk down on the ground to mosh some gitz?
But looks nice that rock.

It isnt a rumor to be honest. They announced it on their community page back in March.

Do we know if Vandus and Khul will have new sculpts, or repacks of their Starter Box models?
I would bet on repacks.

Well for Europe it's the only box that is not avaible and that makes it kinda odd.
-
That explains the loss against that Khemist. Krunk was just exhausted from touring Shadespire.

I hope that the whole supply chain issue when it comes to books etc. leads to GW relocating their printing contracts to the UK again....
