I then said that there are two designs that relate to Slaangors (and all AoS miniatures).  The physical model, and the unit warscroll which can be independently good, bad or indifferent.  So you could love the model, but the warscroll is bad for example.

My bad. I was speaking, specifically, to the miniature design, which I  like.

I found a 2020 Gloomspite battleforce on Amazon.  I'm psyched to get stuck back in the army. I also replaced all the heads on my drums. I'll kick(ha!) the rest of winter's butt.

Personally, I would go Gitz. In their battletome you have four different armeis; Moonclan, Spiderfang, Troggoth or all three together. Plus, I've always loved the goof factor of goblins. 

They also have gargants(giants) and with the Sons of Behemet(all gargants) coming, your gargants can play double duty.

This is why they were my favorite as well. The best games I played were games against my brother's Skaven. Madness everywhere. So much self destruction on both sides. I really hope some of that comes back.

I played WFB into 5th before I got out of it, with Orcs and Goblins being my largest army and night goblins were the majority. This is exactly what I wanted to see,  it has everything I want and more to come. 

GW just decided for me which army I'll be focused on for next year.
