KO have 6 boxes and multiple hero clampacks
I've heard that myth too but at this point I think we can put it in the same category as the Loch Ness monster or El Dorado, because no one on the entire planet has ever seen more than 1 hero clampack, 1 large boat, and 2 infantry kits out of that army in person. Blurry photos don't count.

8 kits is plenty but not enough for a completely new faction if you count blister heroes in those 8. Deepkin is said to be a massive release that will take as much as 4 weeks or more by Temoulon and the guy that leaked the release calendar up to June.
Also: Aislinn not dying but getting submerged in the ocean is wrong. Just checked ET: Khaine and it is explicitly stated that he died after the widow maker pierced his heart. So no Aislinn. I doubt Mathlann is involved as (1) he is dead, (2) the Idoneth are a failed Teclis creation and (3) the soul hunting stuff does not sound very Mathlannish. But I know Temoulon stated they “were very Mathlann” so will have to see.
I mean...Kharadron only have 4 kits total across the whole faction and they seem to do fine.

I agree very disappointing. They look like generic ruins.
I actually am super happy they're so generic, I'm gonna buy a set for my adepticon display board and use them for both Sigmar and 40k.

I do agree she can die in 2 battle rounds.
However if you are using her like that then you are most likely using her wrong.
It's like people charging the glottkin or archaon forward alone and then being surprised when they can't stand up to concentrated punishment.
Unfortunately you have to pick your fights with big baddies.
With the heart if Khaine ability this makes it even easier as you can be certain you won't lose her, depending where the double turn lies.
Really interested to see how she plays out on the table. I will be getting her regardless of whether it's a good mechanic or not. There will always be ways to make her work.
Plus I do think she be worth her weight in gold in duality of death.
Personally, I don't think you should even bother trying to transform her until turn 2 or 3. Oracle Morathi's command ability is arguably the best in the entire game and who knows how good her magic is going to be. I think waiting until power from pain gives you some rerolls to go full snake god a better idea.

Then Order should not be called Order.
It's ironic. Like calling a fat guy 'Tiny'.

No honestly they would fit better in Destruction or their own GA.
destruction wouldn't make any sense, they're not fighting for the sake of a good scrap, they're fighting to kill Chaos, Venerate Khaine, and gain power. All of those goals are very specific. Anything fight that doesn't accomplish one of those three things would be seen as a waste of time.
What people don't seem to get is that there is a 'misfits and losers' faction and it's Order. Order is where you go when you don't fit anywhere else. Order is for all the myriad of freaks and weirdos that don't fit into the strict classifications used by Chaos, Death, and Destruction.
Order is far and away the most chaotic faction in the game. Destruction is bound together by their desire to fight strong enemies, Chaos is a collection of warbands working autonomously towards whatever goal their chosen patron has put forward for them, always advancing towards the end goal of a 'chaos final solution'. Death are those under the iron heel of Nagash or mindless ghouls driven to sanity by the madness of an Abhorrant Ghoul King. They have very clear goals that the entire grand alliance is working towards, possibly not always in the most efficient or diplomatic ways but in general everyone is walking in the same direction.
The ONLY thing tying ANY of the Order factions together is the mutual desire to not be killed by the other 3 grand alliances. They are 'grand alliance others' or 'grand alliance rabble' or 'grand alliance, eh...might as well' or 'grand alliance starscream' or what have you. They spend just as much time backstabbing each other as beating their enemies and most work together about as well oil and water. Sky dwarfs and Fyreslayers work for profit, Stormcasts carry out Sigmar's will which means that sometimes they're the best allies free people and duardin can ask for and sometimes they're terrifying grim reapers. Daughters of Khaine murder and carry out bloodrights all over but are so incredibly valuable in defenses against chaos incursions that they're tolerated even as friends and family dissappear into the shadows. Sylvaneth are suspiscous and hateful of all the other factions but aren't powerful enough to fight chaos alone. The life of a freeguilder is spent constantly looking over your should at gods and monsters massively beyond your ken wondering if your inevitable painful demise will come at the hands of an enemy or an ally, with both being equally possible. Seraphon, as far as I can tell, don't care about ANYTHING but killing Chaos where-ever they find it and would help against Destruction or Death with only the upmost reluctance.
Daughter's of Khaine are perfect for order because they DON'T fit in.

I love how kinetic that Morathi snake model looks. With that said though, that model has got to be one of the worst model to transport around.
I like the snakes. They look so happy! Anybody else notice that she's on the cover of the battletome wearing a helmet instead of her bare face? I SMELL ALTERNATE BUILD OPTIONS!!!

So we have start collecting and Neave this weekend. Next weekend is the first week not covered and will have the white dwarf preorder. The info about upcoming preorders is shared on the community site the Sunday before these days. So the big question is whether this is the week for Daughters of Khaine or something else.
I'm going for Daughters of Khaine preorder and white dwarf cover. Perhaps they will hold back Morathi herself for the following week.
I think we're going to get another teaser tomorrow.

Agree with every word in this post, well said!
With the production capacity, they literally can't make the stuff fast enough right now - we all want the new models but if that's not going to happen in the foreseeable, let's see the books instead.
Everyone says that and then when the books come out with no models everyone gets all uppity.

There's actually a pretty decent chance that there will be stormcast artillery soonish. The ruination chamber has yet to open after all.
This though, looks like terrain to me.

Also, I noticed that the morghasts are listed under preorders, but they were already reboxed for AoS. Any ideas of what's going on there?
new warscroll has new options

Small thing:
Adepticon updated their AoS tourney rules recently. Previously the cutoff for new releases was Feb. 22nd, now it's March 3. The last time they did this it was due to Guillamen . This time, could be nothing, could be a hint at DOK on the 22nd or 3rd.

It is concerning but I would keep calm for now.
Armies that heavily rely on weak heroes tend to be garbage (e.g. khorne mortals) but battalions, allegiance abilities n stuff play a huge roll as well.
(luckily, death has some rather durable heroes and there might be legion synergies we are not expecting... the new focus on heroes is fluffy in Death although I understand the concerns going around)
For all we know the death allegiance ability is 'heroes are immune to damage until all non-hero units are dead'
At which point this would easily be the BEST army in the game.
My point is, speculation before content is asinine an stupid. It happened so much in the run up to 8th that people had a 100% set in stone opinion about every unit in the game and less than half were even close to correct.

You almost ninjaed me there, was about to say the same for harpies and lesser gorgons from the artwork. But I think the witchaelves with spear are from the Bloodcauldron/Bloodwrack Shrine kit.
I think the biggest hope for many here is a reboxing of witchaelves into boxes of twenty, which is the only way GW has reduced prices (the way they doubled liberators at not double price). That kit is still way expensive.
yeah...100% ****** that kit. It's insane how bad the value is.

Quite easy
Mortali as a new Behemoth/hero
Tenebral Shard or even maybe even Mistweaver
WitchElves/Sisters of Slaughter battleline
Blood wrack shrine /avatar
1-2 new units
Even more “older“ kits like Doom wrack Riders
As it's clear that Morathi is some kind of Khaine follower as he is dead God.
And what happened to Malerion and CThulu Elves? Quite interesting story arc as well with Tyrion being once Avatar od Khaine.
rumor has it that morathi has 2 models, one snake one lady

Good ! As expected, the Thousand Sons Codex comes with the second AC wave.
So yeah it's indeed time for some Shadespire AND some Harbingers to show up !
Guess we'll know Thursday at the LVO seminar....
I'm guessing Legions of Nagash come out before the Harbingers, I would expect legion on the 3rd, harbingers on the 10s and the 27th to be a 'deadzone' week.

Actually I would agree for 40k. With AoS there is a hugh gap after the Skydwarfs, which points to a reassessing and change in the development and direction of the game, especially the background. But still, I would say that AoS is seen as an open playing field, where old concepts are developed in new directions and genuinely new ideas are developed. GW, even the new management, knows that to sell kits they can't simply revamp and repeat old lines over and over again, we see this with the change from dwarfmarines to primaris.
Concerning the development cycles, GW upped the production capacities significantly as well as the manpower of the design- and rules teams. As long as there are no powershortages, the could potential pumpe out new releases and fractions as they deem fit.
Don't forget the number of kits that are redone but with a bunch or new options: Rubric Marines, Beast of Nurgle, GUO, Plague Marines, Ahriman, They still release updated versions of old kits, they just give them new stuff.
