The Ice weapons effect is pretty straightforward, considering that you have a good texture to work with. That's basically a base layer of some medium blue (I used VGC Electric Blue), followed by a thin layer of VMC Sky Blue to differentiate the tone towards the top. Glaze of Guilliman Blue mixed with Army Paints Green Tone Ink to establish ice colour and finally a fairly heavy drubrush of Matt White.
