Welcome to Solent Wargamers Club latest Age of Sigmar matched play event!

This is a two day matched play tournament, but with an option to just buy a Saturday ticket to compete in the first 3 rounds.

There will  be prizes for both days and formats!

Over the weekend of the 6 & 7 August players will face off in 5 games of AoS, using battleplans from the Generals Handbook 2022 (hopefully)!

    ...or...

Play 3 games on the Saturday to win 'best in faction'!

Entry is £40 per player for both days, or £20 for Saturday, payment details and other information is in the rules pack.

    Hope to see you there!

Another brilliant tournament Tony. Thanks to Steve, Chris and Gareth for the fun, relaxed and engaging games. Although Gutbusters are not an optimised choice for AoS at the moment, I predict great things for AoS2.

    See you in the future!

Thanks, I hope to be running more soon!

Looks like being a great event!

I’m in! The fact it is a Sunday is even better as often I can’t make the Saturday events due to family.

Heard good things about this event strongly recommend people sign up for a great day of dice rolling!

Thank you for the kind words!

Hi how are the vps worked out? I noticed mine were not included.

    Hugh Halligan

Hi there!  The VP's are the total units you destroyed over the three rounds, and its used as a tie breaker if players are tied on tournament points.  As you weren't tied, I didn't need to refer to your VP score.  Hope that clears things up!

It was a great event, a nice relaxed couple of games on some spectacular tables.  Thanks to Gareth, Chris and Paul for being fantastic opponents.

The Honour was a nice soft score as well, it would be nice to have included sportsmanship as part of it, like I said everyone I played was fun and it would be nice to reward that!

I'd love to see the final rankings as well! As a charity event, I assume it won't go into baddice rankings (although I could do with a boost there)!

Hope to see you all at more events!

Thanks for the kind words!  Sportsmanship is always contentious, but I'm always open to suggestions on how to best score it.  Even though its a charity event, I was intending to submit this to rankings, unless players feel this would not be appropriate (please DM me if you wish to remain anonymous).  Placings!

    1) Steven 'Sharkhead' Ward Fireslayers, 25 points, 3870 vp

    Jimbo Green

are all members of, or are in some way linked to South London legion so would be great to not be drawn against each other R1. Ta!

I'm sure that can be arranged!  But I dont think Jimbo is one of yours?

  10. I've had some army lists come through already, some switched on cookies out there!  I haven't checked any yet, but hope to in the near future.  Please don't take offence if you don't hear back from me, but I will update the list in the first post to say list received and checked.

There are still 21 places left if anyone thinks they can squeeze in a one dayer before Christmas!
