Yeah but the old ones are no longer available.

I doubt the (assumption coming) new skellies will have these monopose included. They are clearly meant for shadespire like the AoS and Khorne.

    Could it be a reboxing?

I would guess a rebasing and reboxing

page hasnt been about rumours for about 50 pages now.

gw are so on top of it now

I think that means its time we started our own wild rumors. Next up vulture people who are the new death faction. They follow other death hordes as a constant food source.

Hmm it does look like it has an eye...but painted black and highlighted in lavender so it all blends in.

So you could say its eyes are hidden in the shadows...B| I will see myself out but only after I squeal a little more in excitement over a potential Aelf release. My first army will finally be updated!

So the cthulhu aelves are basically black ark corsairs cranked up to 11?  Kraken aesthetic and all?

I hope so and i am ready for them to come up from the depths and be super High fantasy. I have always been an aelf player but I really love the looks of this new dwarven faction. I am a person who likes it when sci-fi and fantasy blend as that's when i feel hey are at their strongest personally. I cannot wait to have an order faction made up of sky dwarves and aelves from the deep

In the Shadows over Hammerhal book it shows the 'river' that splits the city is actually a massive canyon with a magma river at the bottom. The docks are at the top of the cliffs and are reached by airships and skycutters. The illustration of Cinderfall shows a bunch of these airships - they are massive. It also seems that the Scourge Privateers also use air travel although it is not explicitly stated. From this I infer that we might be seeing a lot more flying stuff for many factions!

Could this be a way to introduce flying monsters that look a lot like sea monsters? I have wanted sea monsters more like the Karybdis model but thats hard to do without any sea tables etc.

  6. I don't know if its relevant at all but have aelves always had solid eyes and such a non flesh tone skin color? Is this a new direction that GW plan on taking the aesthetic or does this seem specifically for this model. It almost looks like a grey goblin or a seraphon.

How long/well written ar GW books recently? I'm a lit student but I've always shied away from the novels - I prefer the shorts and the snippets of lore that you wove together to form a story back in 2E 40K as opposed to when the stories started getting more involved.  That said, I am more open to reading about the Garden of Decay than I would like to admit.

The most recent Tzeentch book was well written but fairly short and I feel all the GW books are a bit pricey. I still bought it and enjoyed it.

anyone else sorta "meh" about reading more about stormcast crushing the evil bad with the holy lightning power of righteous good-ness?

Any word about books from the perspective of other races? like for instance... elves?  I would pay money for that.

The last book was written from the viewpoint of a human in the city guard which was nice. I think there is also one written from a skaven POV but I have not read it.

  8. I feel like shadowkin aelves and slaneesh will get a side by side release but I am not sold that they will be allies. THe old story lends itself either way but I don't think GW will keep too much of the old story. I don't think they will pit the aelves against each other in difference factions.

  9. The main strong points for dark aelves/ shadowkin in old WHFB were the witches, the crossbows, executioners and later on the scourge privateers had a seemingly separate but still thematically strong place. I wouldn't be surprised to the daughters of khaine get the initial bulk release with someone like Morathi and some redone models for darkling covens. I also wouldn't be surprised to see order serpentis lumped into another subfaction like scourge privateers.

Stay focused on current projects, I do not need this now, stay focused on current projects, I don not need this now, stay focused on current projects, I don not need this now, stay focused on current projects, I don not need this now, stay focused on current projects, I don not need this now...

Currently my mantra for this and the cadia release

Absolutely not. They are absolutely an Order force. Order is not the same thing as good. Being "good" is not a pre-requisite for order. Where are the D&D people here to back me up? Say it with me Lawful Evil.

please for pete's sake stop asking dark elves to be made destruction or chaos that is completely illogical with respect to the fluff.

Sorry I think I misspoke here earlier. I am happy with them in order it does make the most fluff sense but in the idea that order has many factions and the others have less. Destruction would be the one that makes most sense to me to be balanced toward.

Death is the least populated grand alliance so it would make sense to have kept them for the time being from a gameplay perspective as opposed to a lore perspective. I personally am a fan of moving dark aelves to the Death Grand Alliance. They dont exactly fit fantastically, but they also dont fit in the bloated ranks of order.

As a dark aelf player I support moving them out of order but personally I think they work better in destruction than death

Ok everyone, put on your tinfoil hats!

The Emperor...off the cuff wording, or....SQUATS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Either way, I'm going to be down at my LGS wearing my most dapper suit throwing around money like a dandy.

I for one believe that all future LGS interaction should be done like this. Maybe with included follow up reactions of owners and other patrons. Maybe I will try this myself when my aelves are released.

Yes it would. Clearly with some adverts, but they could also have previews/rumours, tactics talks, interviews etc. It could be fantastic!

I would love a hobby half and a tactic half or maybe start a tournament highlight
