Anyone else think they might discontinue the og starter set, and then release the starter set models that arent in the new starter set as their own products? Maybe finally a unique warscroll for vandus and khul?

[Hinterlands: Skirmish Campaigns in the Mortal Realms]

Has anyone thought about making fluffy hinterlands friendly warscroll battalions?

My group is really into hinterlands and were always thinking of new mods to it, and one thing ive played around with is "legendary warbands". 

For example, maybe someone wants to play a pickup game of hinterlands but isnt able to commit to a campaign, or maybe you want to convey a heroic battle against a powerful group, perhaps you are mixing hinterlands with a map campaign and you want to include npc armies that you have to fight at certain locations.

So i could say, 

Sarzagol's Slaughterhood [20gp]

1 slaughterpriest (Sarzagol) [50gp]

6 blood reavers (the slaughterhood) [36gp]

2 blood warriors (Kurgan the ripper and Grindul the tearer) [40gp]

The chosen blood warriors of sarzagol protect him from all harm, ruthlessly devoted to the priest's work in the name of the blood god. If kurgan and grindul are within 3" of sarzagol at the start of any of your hero phases, you may reroll all failed save rolls until the end of the turn for both models.

 

Id love to see if others try making their own, i want to be able to pull from a list of warbands to populate my hinterlands world haha!

Here's what i'd do to allow the large unit abilities. I'd just make it so when you level up you can take one of those abilities instead of rolling on the chart. It could represent immediate training that the model can learn. And each time they level up, they can take the next increment of the same ability if it gets stronger when you have more models.

 

I think this is simple enough, any thoughts?

I've just gone to a 105 as soon as it gets to that point, keeps it fairly uniform as I think quite a few things are on the 105s now.

Hi guys, my store is running an event in january and we're really excited about bringing it to the bay area! We're still working on an event pack to make it easy on our players, but I can start posting the event info and answering questions.

What is the Game Kastle Winter War?

The Winter War is a 2 day, 5 game, 2000 point Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament hosted by Game Kastle Mountain View, which will be held annually at the beginning of January. We here at Game Kastle are committed to bringing our gaming communities the highest quality events, and as such we are proud to present you with our first official independent ITC GT. Come spend a weekend immersing yourself in a fantastical themed event complete with special scenery rules, scenario and fantastic prizes for every participant. The first place player will take home a Shattered Dominion Realm of Battle table, and 3 pieces of terrain that have been painted in the Winter War theme. More information on prizes, army composition, scenarios, and more will be coming shortly when we release the full players packet. But most of all come and enjoy the excitement of playing your favorite game in an event we hope will have a ton of fun at! Building up this community has been a lot of fun, and we want to provide all our players with a special weekend!
